Barbra (10/5): Warm, welcoming, beautiful place to spend some time relaxing. You will love it! - Stunning location, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, warm, welcoming atmosphere, beautiful cabin (it felt like we were on a Yellowstone show set, but smaller, obviously!), super comfortable beds, peaceful, quiet...running out of adjectives now to describe how much we loved our stay at Shadow Mountain! The cabin sits on 18 acres of amazing land. Watch horses, mules and wild turkeys roam the acreage from your wrap about deck, let the kids play games on the well-maintained lawns, take a trip to the media cabin if you want tv, jenga or foosball, or just chill on the leather sofa and read a book. 5 minutes to gorgeous Kootenay Lake, a short drive to the pretty town of Crawford Bay...you can't go wrong. If this rentals is available for your dates, just do it! You will not regret your time spent here in this amazing getaway. I only mention this because I have some health issues, but the stairs were a little difficult for me. Not a problem with the stairs themselves, just me with any stairs. So, just be aware that there are stairs up to the cabin and then down to the bedrooms. No biggie, just wanted people to know.

Bellward (10/5): This was the best holiday we have had in years! Fabulous weather, wonderful location, great hosts. - The hosts were fantastic, very accommodating. The cabin was amazing, beautiful, in a very quiet location. Walking distance to the beach, very close to the boat launch. Best holiday we have had in years!
