A note to tenants on how to walk to the beach would have been helpful as we couldn't navigate our way through all the private properties walking, but incredible view still!
• Stephanie (10/5): Stunning property. - Oh my goodness, the views were stunning. Impressive enough that I got up at 5.15am to watch the sunrise. It was so worth it. Everything you could want is there. Beautiful garden and balcony. Beautiful touches such as fresh lemons and picked fresh herbs awaited us which we used for our water bottles. We were particularly pleased to see some lactose free milk which we needed, very thoughtful indeed. The electric blankets on the beds were heaven. I loved that the view was the focus from the extremely comfy sofa and the TV although present and lovely was not the focus. Very tastefully decorated. Lovely games and things provided and I loved the Tassy map to appreciate in the side room. The bathroom and it's products were fantastic. I could not fault this property. Very close to other amenities. We went on the Bicheno penguin tour to watch the penguins come in from the beach at night. It is minutes up the road and well worth doing. So wish we had longer than one night. Absolutely superb. Nothing it was fantastic I would give it more than 10/10 if I could.

Didn't use the BBQ/outdoor kitchen and outdoor area but would love to go back for a longer stay and use these too. Nothing, it was great for our short stay.

• Alfonso (10/5): Fantastic stay, super host! - Everything perfect, from the smooth process to the comfortable parking to the very good location, very good to watch the sunrise (I did not, I woke up a bit later, but it's very clear to see it from the balcony). You have basically everything you need inside the house, and beyond. Annie was great in sharing all the details and supporting us.

• Yvonne (10/5): We will definitely stay again - The property was comfortable, private and aesthetically appealing, including artwork of the area made by the host. There is a choice of outdoor seating. Overlooking the ocean in the front there is a deck where you can see the morning sun rise. In the back there is sheltered, covered area with comfortable seating and many beautiful pot and garden plants. There are many kitchen items allowing for easy self-catering. We definitely liked staying in an older Bicheno home compared to some of the newer, bland holiday homes we saw when exploring the town. The home could feel a little small for two couples to share but perfect for two people and family of four.

Place was really homely with lots of kitchen utensils and cooking tools. Great outdoor sitting area with comfy chairs chairs & BBQ. Comfy beds and off street parking. Would have been good to have a couple of smaller bed pillows.

Bicheno is a gorgeous little town, and Up the Back has you feel like you belong :) It was all fantastic. Probably needed to be more thoroughly dusted and made free of cobwebs, etc, but this is a petty thing that doesn't really matter.

Lovely garden out the back with undercover seating or small deck out the front to enjoy the view. There’s a path to walk the few kilometres into the town. Would recommend. Wifi is a little patchy but we found that was the case across most of regional Tasmania.

It faces directly to the east and seeing the sunrise from the sea level is an marvelous experience. The shower is small and low volume flow

• Spence (10/5): The perfect home away from home with stunning coastal views! - Up the Back exceeded our expectations and was definitely a home away from home. Every little detail had been thought of with lots of little extras to make our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was so impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. So cosy and comfortable. The cute patio and garden around the back was so peaceful. The view from the front... now that was something else. The sight of glistening water whilst sitting on the balcony enjoying drinks and a platter was perfect. Annie should be commended on her guest accommodation. I will recommending it to others who may travel to Bicheno and I will definitely be back to stay for longer just as soon as I can. 5+ stars!
