Guest Reviews
- Ishani (8/5): - Very clean and had everything needed. - Was very hard to find the place
- The pet enclosed area was definitely too small
- Elizabeth (9/5): - Lovely location close to a spectacular beach.
- Melissa (8/5): Beautiful accomodation. Disappointing dog yard. - Beautiful location. The accomodation was comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and great insulation so that the temperature stayed steady and warm the whole time without needing the heater. The beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful. The outlook is amazing. Unfortunately, the dog yard set-up in the renovated cottages is poor. The fenced yard turns out to be a desultory concrete strip behind the cottage with no overhead shelter and no access from the cottage. Unless your dog is happy to have a wee on the lawn in front whilst ignoring the grazing wallabies and other wildlife, you're in for a struggle to keep them contained. The older cottages still have a decent grassy fenced yard in front, so I would recommend those if you're bringing a furry friend.

- Phillip (10/5): Enjoyable couple of days of chilling. - Well equipped with relaxing views.
Nice touch with vege’s and farm fresh eggs
- Debbie (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely loved the views and rural location yet being so close to the beach to walk my fur baby. The ability to collect fresh eggs and veggies from the garden was truly appreciated. The cottage was modern, comfortable and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. If we didn't live so far away I would book this cottage on a regular basis. I don't think there is anything I didn't like.
- Sara (9/5): Superb - Beautiful home with absolutely stunning views over the hilltops. Only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Modern amenities, comfortable beds, and outdoor barbecue available for use. The bathroom door didn't quite close and was difficult to slide open and shut but otherwise faultless accommodation.
- Colleen (9/5): Superb - Beautiful fire. House was warm and well insulated Tricky to walk to beach with family. We didn't have a map of the Johanna seaside accommodation, so didn't know where to walk to beach and to pool. I thought we had direct beach access which wasn't the case. When I had booked, i asked the question about heating in the rooms..I was told there were electric blankets which was not the case. There needs to be some option for heating in the rooms.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): Extremely pleasant and relaxing. - Excellent layout and facilities.

- Marie-laure (10/5): Amazing - Everything was perfect nothing !
- Pui (10/5): Beautiful farm oasis on Johanna Beach - The cottage was located on a beautiful farm with a wonderful view. a little back alley led to Johanna Beach. The perfect location to spend a few days during the great ocean trip to be in nature, smell the sea breeze and relax. finding the location was easy, instructions were very clear and once you are inside the cottage, you don’t feel the need to go out again. just make sure you bring all your own groceries.
- Hames (10/5): Stunning location, amazing pad, peaceful, charming and stress free-loved it - Glen Tara is a spacious, modern 2 bedroom cottage just out of sight of the ocean, but you can hear the waves breaking on the most incredibly beautiful and massive sandy beach. The views are 180 degrees in land of farmland and hillsides (I think it’s the Otway National Park). You drive through the campground and up a little accessible hill. There are 4 cottages altogether but we only used one. Super clean, modern with everything you needed, including a washing machine and washing line. Everything was perfect. Fabulous communication for checking in and any enquiries. They had free eggs you picked yourself freshly laid from the hatch itself. We took some tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, apples, pears & numerous herbs from the garden so delicious. A heated swimming pool, plenty of towels etc just the best escape from the stresses of life. Sitting under the porch; with great friends, watching the farm life and birds was just the tonic. Peaceful setting. 5 minutes walk to the beach we hiked the 6.5km to Castle Point winding up & down stunning coastline bush paths rewarded with a fantastic view point and back again. It’s quite a trek with areas of boardwalk due to protecting the vegetation. A very good clear path to follow. I honestly can’t think anything to say as everything met our needs. We were travelling Australia and did this with friends from Melbourne area.

- Nic_k (10/5): Great spot! Will be back! - The location is great for what we were looking for. The property is cosy, quiet and peaceful, with spectacular views. It's also great for wildlife spotting. Saw lots of birds (including a wedge tail eagle!), kangaroos, wallabies , echidnas and a tiger snake. The kitchen was well equipped. Great tea and coffee facilities and the washing machine came in very handy. Unfortunately I'm allergic to dogs and this is a pet friendly property. And even though the cottage had been cleaned I still had an allergic reaction. Will remember to pack antihistamines for our next stay.
