• barakat (1/5): - Everything was bad. If you're a family, don't go. It's completely unsafe, on a steep mountainside. You can never leave children there. There are areas without fencing, and the road is rough and dirt with very sharp turns. It's not for a holiday. If you like exile and prison, this is the place for you. Everything is very bad

• Serrano Martínez (9/5): No es un 10 por la ubicación - La casa es espectacular, es una villa completa con 3 casas en total. Tienes todo lo que necesitas incluso un jacuzzi en una de las terrazas. Las camas son todas cómodas e incluso con los sofá camas podéis ser hasta 14 personas, un 9 para nosotros. La ubicación como tal es espectacular por las vistas pero lo malo es que para llegar prepara los bajos del coche y enfréntate a un examen de conducir intenso de subidas y caminos estrechos.
• Brian (10/5): - We love the villa, the view , the pool. You have everything you need . The road to get there but we get used to it . You must be a confident driver to get there but it so worthy!
• MarionR (9/5): Génial malgré l'accès compliqué - Une fois arrivé à la maison, ce n'est que du bonheur ! La vue epoustouflante, le calme, les cigales, la nature aride... Nous avons aimé la déco simple et rustique de la maison. Les lits sont confortables. La piscine est petite mais agréable. Le jacuzzi a eu beaucoup de succès également. 4 sdb, 4 toilettes, 2 dépendances, pour le confort de chacun. La cuisine principale n'est pas assez fournie en ustensiles. Il a fallut aller en chercher dans les dépendances. Et même il manque des saladiers, tasses, verres, couteaux de cuisine, pour 12 personnes c'est très limite. De même il manque des pieds de parasols en état d'usage pour pouvoir utiliser les parasols à disposition. Le soleil tape sur la terrasse jusqu'à 20h30.... Lorsque nous sommes arrivés il n'y avait absolument rien dans la cuisine : huile, sel, poivre etc.... Pensez à apporter le minimum nécessaire. D'autre part le point noir c'est la route et l'accessibilité: il faut avoir conscience que le village de Compéta est situé à 40 minutes de la côte via 2 routes sinueuses et escarpées. Et encore plus difficile, la route de Competa à la maison. Ce n'est pas long mais à partir de la route en terre, il faut une voiture qui monte bien. 2 virages très aigus à passer... Les amateurs de conduite en montagne se régalent, les autres moins. Mais après cette épreuve, c'est génial!
• Inna (9/5): We enjoyed our time there - This villa has really incredible views!!! We couldn’t stop enjoying it. All the facilities are quite nice, it is really good place for family staying. The location is 40 min driving from the cost, 1 hour driving from Malaga and it’s not easy to get there but the road views are so beautiful. We have chosen this villa also because of the jacuzzi as we knew the weather will be no enough warm for the swimming pool but the jacuzzi didn’t work for the whole week during all our staying and we were informed about that just after arrival. We were really disappointed with that and the owner offered us a compensation so I would say this property is pretty good to choose from different sides.
• Emma (6/5): Beautiful views - Beautiful views, villa was clean. Villa had salt,pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc which is a nice touch. Owner met us in Competa and directed us to Villa which was very helpful! They were helpful when the hire car broke on the first night! It is a stunning location and you do get used to the roads. Lots of places to stock up in Competa but it is driving distance away from where the Villa is, also some lovely places to eat in Competa. The Villa is made up with main house with 3 bedrooms, shower room, main kitchen and living area, another seperate villa with a double bedroom,shower etc and then another seperate villa with a double bedroom and a twin room with shower etc and that worked really well for our family as we had our own space. Please do as previous reviews state and reverse down the driveway or park at the top and walk down! Best bit of advice on the reviews which we ignored so don’t make the same mistake. Not enough pots and pans for large party and the hob in the main house didn’t get very hot. Pool was quite small and tha Jacuzzi didn’t work for the duration of our stay which was disapointing for the older visitors in our group! We had one day where we had no water at the Villa all day, contacted the owners and by the late evening it was back but pressure was low, I guess that happens in drier climates.

• Brian (9/5): Superb - The villa is exceptional. We had a great family time. Pool was great and the view breathtaking. Wifi was working but it seems there were issue witb the cable the first few days. The road up to the villa is not easy but we got used to it. The music from neighbour was not too loud and didnt annoy us at all.
• Charlotte (8/5): we had an amazing 8 days. could be difficult to cook food as the cooker was very temperamental. there is also no serving - very good value for money great to facilitate two families  The cooker hob was a bit temperamental . It is definitely in the mountains . the swimming pool is very small for the amount off people that the villa can sleep.
• Mel (8/5): Lovely house with privacy - Lovely property with lots of room and privacy. It was clean and had all the amenities required for a week away. Two roof top terraces, parking for 2 cars (reverse down as it’s steep), covered table area and pool with loungers. There was three bedrooms in main house and a small apartment with a double bed and small living area. As other reviews it was up a small dirt track, which was fine as we got used to it. The WiFi didn’t work and the shower tray filled up quickly and soaked the bathroom in the small apartment but other than that it was a great week
• Joseline (10/5): wonderful place for a quite getaway - everything is clean and up to date! you have everything you need! the view is gorgeous! not easy to get there!
• Jaanika (10/5): Very nice stay and would suggest to others as well. - The view is astonishing! Very nice villa in the mountains, you need a car or use Uber to access it. The car though could be little higher and not low one, take this one into account when renting a car as you have to drive in the mountains. Host is very helpful and via Whatsup you can get all answers to your questions. Everything you need is in the villa, washing amchines for clothes and dishes with detergent, towels, sheets and even wine opener:). So you can pack a small suitcase to go. Stores for food are in the village, you can go there by car in 10 minutes or walk 40 minutes or take Uber. Competa town is very nice and cosy, there is a market every Saturday morning. Restaurants and cafeterias for lunch or supper for a reasonable price. In lunchtime they offer daily meal complects for 8.50 eur per person. Very nice stay! Even though yes, there is a neighbour who likes to listen to the music little louder at daytime, I would say that this doesn't feel arrogating as it is not so loud as said here in other comments previously.
