• Annellen (10/5): Fantastic stay; would highly recommend - Absolutely beautiful property, lovingly styled, spotlessly clean, and quality linens. Wonderful location opposite the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped and has ample crockery and glasses. There is nothing to fault in this property, everything has been thought of and included some lovely touches like fresh flowers on the dining table to welcome us. Hosts were communicative and gave clear instructions for check in, etc.

Lovely beds and linens, everything you need in the kitchen, big comfy couch, lovely bathrooms, and areas where you could get away from the group. Easy parking too. Nothing.

Our hosts Julie and Michael were wonderful, the house was cosy and warm for us upon arrival which was great as we travelled with 3 kids. We were also gifted a bottle of wine and a block of chocolate which was a much appreciated gesture. Everything was 10/10 and we will definitely stay again

Despite claims on their own website, the coffee machine had no coffee pods and there was not even 1 coffee sachet provided. There were tea bags and milk, so I am assuming this was a house keeping issue but owner needs to be aware.

Everything was catered for and being that I am so fussy with bed comfort and cleanliness, this house excelled. Mum and I had a wonderful time and weather was clear warm and sunny so the sunrise walk in the morning along the beach path to town for coffee was amazing. Thanks so much for the relaxing getaway. We are seriously thinking of packing up and moving to Penguin from Hobart 😁 Thanks again, Tracy and Lorna. The place was perfect and the only reason I didn't give 10/10 was because we couldn't get the TV to turn on in the evening to watch a movie. I then opened the battery compartment of the remote and it looked like one had leaked everywhere with white powder. I managed to clean it up but we could only find one spare battery in the drawer. We managed to get it working after that. All in all the best place I have stayed and so comfortable and clean ❤️

• Patricia (8/5): Excellent value for a stay in beautiful Penguin! - We enjoyed a fabulous 4 day stay at Penguin Beach House. It was in an excellent location to the town centre, a 10 minute walk into town along a new walkway. The kitchen was very well equipped and the basic condiments available were very handy. The three main bedrooms in the main section of the house were very comfortable as were the two bathrooms. The reverse cycle A/C made the living room very comfortable in the evening. The bedroom located off the back veranda was set up for children with two single beds. This wasn’t as comfortable, however a heater was provided to warm the room. The laundry and back toilet could do with an upgrade. The Nespresso coffee machine was used, however some instructions could have been provided to make it easier.

As there were 5 adults staying at the property there could've been a few more toiletries supplied but this was not a major issue at all.

Definitily Reccomend and would stay again in a heartbeat. - quality linen, well stocked with plates, glasses, cheese plates etc spacious beautiful views and handy location easily slept 8 the only thing that came to mind was that an additional drinks/bar fridge could be handy (maybe in the laundry or the enclosed outdoor area or if the fridge in the kitchen was larger, especially for a large group.

• J (10/5): Relaxing wind-down in Penguin - The property was in a great location We could walk to the bakery & supermarket. Accessing surrounding areas for exploration would also be easily achievable. We visited Stanley (1.5hrs drive) whilst in Penguin. The house had a lovely "feel" to it upon entry, it is light & bright and tastefully decorated. Plenty of room for our family and the two bathrooms was an added bonus, as was the dishwasher. Everything was clean, including the inside of cupboards & drawers which is pleasing to see, otherwise I feel like I need to wash everything before I can use it. Everything we needed was thought of, including some consumables in the kitchen like foil and plastic wrap. We only spent two nights as Penguin was our final stay before heading home. As mentioned, it is a good location and given the house has everything you need I would use it as a base and stay longer for a future stay. Nothing to note.
