Our dog loved it too. - Torquay Retreats Aus- TwentyTwo Pride was very comfortable, easy to locate, easy to communicate with host. This was our 2nd visit to this ppty. We loved it the first time and ppty very clean, easy to get to beaches in Torquay, Lorne, Anglesea, Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove. Also Geelong.

Not really an issue, we parked on the street.

We like th - Privacy, free parking, fully equipped kitchen, located near to Woolies and Coles, easy check in and check out. The standing shower area is shallow, hence the bathroom floor is always wet whenever we shower. Need to use the mops to dry the bathroom floor.
• Jessica (9/5): Ticks all of the boxes for a wonderful getaway! - The property was absolutely perfect for our family, it was extremely comfortable and had everything for a comfortable stay. The location was absolutely perfect, a short walk to the beach or to the shops. The parking was very tight especially if the neighbors in the first unit were parked in front of the garage, but really not a big deal. We just parked on the street a couple of times.

The property is stocked with everything you would need to cook, the kitchen was a pleasure to use. The beds were comfortable and bedding was deliciously clean and good quality. The outside area was disappointing, very clean but if I were staying for a week and wanted to chill at the property it's bare of any planting whatsoever.

Liked the fact that we had everything there even though some of the things need replacing. Cottage was very nice, but did not know that pets were allowed in the accommodation, as when we arrived, we could smell dog, (Had to air the cottage out and used Glen 20), so not a fan of that. Mattress was a bit soft, and the bunk beds need some work or replaced. Pots and pans need to be replaced, I know it is easy for me to say this, but they have had their day.

• Attila (9/5): This property in Torquay offered an ideal location near a stunning beach, was cozy and spacious. - The location of this property was absolutely ideal—just a few hundred meters from the stunning beach. The highlight of our stay was walking along the picturesque coastline, with the freedom to explore as far as we wanted. The sunsets were truly spectacular and unforgettable. We loved how close we were to great coffee spots and an array of fantastic places to enjoy lunch and dinner. Torquay itself is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and the conveniences of Coles and Woolworths. The unit was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all five of us and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The modern kitchen was a standout, equipped with everything imaginable to prepare meals—plus the most advanced toaster we’ve ever seen! The unit stayed pleasantly cool throughout the day, making it a perfect retreat after exploring. The area was quiet at night. The outdoor dining area was a lovely touch, ideal for enjoying a relaxed meal in the cool evening air. The bathroom and toilets were modern and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the space. You can also easily park 3 cars on the property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in Torquay! The master bed was a bit softer than I prefer, but that’s just a personal preference. I couldn’t use my aluminium mokapot on the induction stove, which was a bit disappointing, but thankfully, a coffee plunger was provided, and it worked perfectly. Aside from these minor things, everything else about our stay was absolutely perfect.

The towels are a bit old and smelly. The rooms are a bit dim. However still fair for the price compare to other stays in the similar area.

The outside needs some TLC, lawns not mown, BBQ area greasy and probably needs updating, the screen doors need work to use properly and toilet seat slides around.

• Tania (9/5): Excellent location and very dog friendly - Loved the location, walking distance to all shops, cafe's/restaurants around the corner and the beach. A nice size outdoor yard and sitting area for us and our doggie. Spacious and comfy, kitchen had all that we needed. The main queen size bed was really soft and sagged in the middle. And just to be aware when using the dryer for clothing open the door as the condensation turns into water on the ground and everywhere in the laundry.

I found the bed comfortable, was a bit too soft for my husband but all in all was enjoyable staying here. We enjoyed it all!

There are no noises from the road. I travelled with my family but I truly recommend this place for a romantic gateway too 🙌 May be a heater in the rooms rather than a split at the living room, but it is just my personal preference.

• Karen (8/5): Great house in a great location - Great location and excellent support from the host on email and phone. House very clean and comfortable. The sun is at the front of the house and it would have been nice to have garden furniture there so we could enjoy the sun.

The manager had turned on the heat pump so it was cosy when we arrived which gave us a lovely welcome. The laundry facilities were a bonus too. Nothing at the cottage but for the area we found it difficult to hire bikes. One bike shop we were recommended to use by the information centre hadn’t dealt with bike rentals for 10 years!

• Kathryn (8/5): Excellent property - would happily stay there again. - Booking.com sent an incorrect code to access the keys, but the property manager was really helpful in getting us into the property. Very happy with their communication and helpfulness. There was nothing that we were disappointed in or thought could have been improved. The property was exactly as listed and was clean, comfortable and value for money.
• Adrian (8/5): Made for a nice one-time stay!! - Location. Furnishings and amenities. TV channel options!!! Loved all the outdoor seating, the ice maker, and laundry! Bathroom (shower) was very nice, and the dining room table was great to have! No DVD player. Didn't know about the bunk beds in the other room (fortunately not an issue this time.) Induction stove didn't work with pans provided. No coasters, and drinks were leaving rings on the coffee table?! Not as much privacy as we were expecting although the neighbor behind was very quiet!

• Sharon (9/5): Superb - Location perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Staff communication excellent. Clean gorgeous place. Beautiful place only problem is if more than one adult staying that doesn't share a bed they are in a bunk bed that can't be sat on due to the low overhead bed. I understand trying to fit maximum beds in but the days of 2 parents and 4 kids are few and having a single plus bunks makes it more suitable for other types of families. This place was perfect in every other way but I won't return as it doesn't accommodate two adults in separate rooms.
