• Bryan (10/5): Will book again next year - Super clean. Lovely host. Perfect stay. Internet and phone service is poor (as expected in this area). I had a starlink with me so I was lucky but if you’re planning work/business from here consider bringing one.
• Julia (8/5): Lovely property with fantastic views, quiet and peaceful - Large bedrooms and beautiful property with lots of wildlife. The beds were rather soft, so a few of us had difficulty sleeping. There seemed to be holes in some of the flyscreens so many insects were getting into the house. A handrail would be good to have on the staircase upstairs, some people had difficulty getting upstairs.

• Hegab (6/5): Peaceful, comfortable stay under the stars - The stars were incredible in the wilderness. We appreciated the box of toys available for the children, and the toy cars left outside. Washing machine was very helpful and the bedrooms and bedding was extremely comfortable! The kitchen facilities could have been in better condition and the contents could have been cleaner. A few essential supplies could have been left in the fridge as a kind gesture. We struggled to find the specific message that gave us details of how to retrieve the keys for the first half an hour so we had to stand outside with small children after a long journey.
• Diane Stibbard (9/5): Nice home with comfortable beds in a stunning and quiet location in the Grampians. - The view of the Grampians was stunning. It was super quiet and very peaceful. The house had a beautiful veranda to sit on and take in the view but no comfortable chairs were provided, only a wooden bench and a picnic table were provided. Comfortable sitting chairs would be recommended for guests to be comfortable. There was no can opener and a days worth of dish soap - we were there a week these items should be provided.

Would have loved to see more birdlife.(bird baths would be a great idea)people who choose to stay in such a peaceful location would fill them.

• Gus (9/5): Great spot for fathers and sons weekend. - Fantastic isolated luxurious farmhouse. Open fire pit with ample firewood provided. Also firewood combustion heater inside. Nothing in particular.
• Rajan (9/5): Very nice property, we enjoyed our weekend stay. - Very well maintained property, with all amenities and facilities. Few good hikes nearby including Mount Stapylton, which was a very good hike. It was all good except the access road which was not a sealed road.

The views were incredible and very remote. The fire place was perfect for this time of year. The fire heated the entire home. The home had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm.

Accomodation fine but in need of some repairs etc - Location Upstairs aircon didn’t work-not too much of an issue as it didn’t get extremely hot but was still warm for sleeping Couch was not a sofa bed as advertised however a spare mattress was supplied

• Maria (10/5): Awesome views, great space for a family and close to walks and tracks. - The Farmhouse was very comfortable and had all the amenities we could possibly want or need. We were a family of 4 adults for 5 nights and our stay was perfect. Comfort and plenty of space both inside and out. Being at quite a distance to shops and restaurants, we cooked every night. I have not seen a kitchen so well appointed, and we wanted for nothing. To wake up every morning to the view of the Mountains was just amazing and it is close to many walks, waterfalls, etc. It was very easy to access the keys and gates and we enjoyed the whole experience. We would definitely stay again! The kitchen area (especially the Belling Cooker) needed a thorough clean. There was a 5mm layer off fat at the bottom of the right-hand oven which we cleaned to eliminate the smell. The three Adirondack Chairs need to be repaired or replaced as the timber is splitting. FYI - Bedroom pillows were a bit soft (but we brought our own), otherwise, no complaints.

Lots of great walks nearby. The woodburning heater was perfect for cosy evenings after some very wet weather. The weather!! But it was winter...

• Laura (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful house in a breathtaking location! - Wow! What a fantastic house in a stunning location! Waking up to the views across the Grampians was breathtaking. Lismi was an excellent host and super quick to respond to queries and questions. We loved everything about our stay here but would note for potential future visitors that the house is very remote if this isn’t your thing. We just made sure we had plenty of supplies and used Halls Gap as our base for food etc during the days when in the Grampians.
