• Foley (10/5): - The house was in great condition and the big yard was especially good when the family visited. I liked the little touches, such as the welcome basket and Easter decorations and the air-conditioning on when we arrived. We loved the local kookaburras and wildlife visiting every day and the secluded feel of the property with the creek and bush around the boundary. The high step up from the verandah caused a few awkward moments.

We got eloped at the property and it was the most beautiful day that had enough room for the kids to play and for the adults to relax. Very private location with beautiful greenery surrounding the property. It feels like you're in a rainforest, but only 5 minutes drive from the beach! The hosts were easily contactable, and only too happy to help. I'm so glad that we chose Hughes Hideaway for our special weekend. We will absolutely be returning. That we didn't stay longer!

• John (10/5): Perfect Romantic Getaway - This place is outstanding! Hidden amongst an old rain forest garden which even has a bridge bringing you into the one acre property. Attention to detail is second to none with fairy lights, amenities and many extra features such as firepit, coffee machine, comfy furniture, flowers, candles and a bar on the verandah with a BBQ. The setting is very private and intimate so it's perfect for a romantic getaway. We had our second anniversary here and could not fault anything about the property, location or staff. If you like Cottage style houses and gardens then this place is perfect. Nothing! Couldn't fault it!

Previously have stayed in plenty of 4 and 5 star hotels and this place takes the cake! The set up was well thought out and all the small things were supplied that aren’t normally. The owners added some Christmas decorations and a personal note which made us feel welcome. We had the ability to relax, unwind and with the size of the yards it was easy to forget we were actually in a town! Will definitely be back in the future! Nothing
