• Andrew (10/5): Wonderful Gite - homely and welcoming. - The gite is located in a quiet village in rural Belgium. It is well equipped, comfortable and homely - a perfect base for our trip to Bastogne, Trier and Luxembourg. Really minor comment, not a criticism as such. The gite has a sauna, which is rare if not unique, and which many may use a lot. We didn't use it at all so it was wasted on us (our choice and if I'm honest it was one of the features I liked about it on paper). I wonder how much over the course of a year it is actually used, and whether on reflection a second/en suite bathroom would be more useful. Just a thought - not a criticism.

• Carsten (9/5): A wonderful stay - Beautiful house in a typical village of the Ardennes. We loved the atmosphere that the owners did create. The house is built into an old barn. The restoration process can be seen in a book. There even was a decorated christmas tree put up in the living room. Everything was nice and cosy. We will book again.

• Mieke (9/5): Prima, brandschoon verblijf waarin alles aanwezig is. - Mooie locatie Het zitmeubilair in de huiskamer had beter gekund. De bank had net voldoende ruimte voor 3 personen. Een fauteuil extra was fijn geweest. En een broodmes zou handig zijn. Er waren wel veel veel vliegen, dus de vliegenmepper hebben we echt wel nodig gehad.
• Danny Boogaard (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf - Wij zijn nu voor de 2e keer in dit gezellige huisje geweest. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en de locatie is perfect om leuke uitstapjes te ondernemen. Nadat ik thuis erachter kwam dat ik iets vergeten was in het huisje, heeft de eigenaar de moeite genomen om het naar mij op te sturen. Nogmaals bedankt voor de service. Ik weet zeker dat we nog een 3e keer terug zullen komen. . Wij kregen de televisie niet aan.
• Erik (9/5): Heerlijk huis in een rustige omgeving - Fijn huis, dat van alle gemakken was voorzien. Het huis was perfect schoon. Mooie, moderne stijl gebruikmakend van oude materialen. Leuk dat er een fotoboek was dat de renovatie van het pand in beeld bracht. Het werd ‘s nachts warm, zelfs met open ramen (met horren).

• Ahmet (5/5): Not recomended just because of the attitude towards guests - The house is quite nice, boutique and at a silent area. Comfortable stay. The place lacked lots of facilities. Especially without the flynets all of the insects came flooding inside the house. And considering there weren’t any air conditioners we had to open the windows for fresh and cool air. But most of all the hostess lady was extremely rude. I’ve faced such intense anger and rudeness from a host for the first time. She scolded us for even seperating the trash wrongly which we did our best that we could because the instructions were unclear. We tidied up the house before leaving even though we had a baby staying with us and loaded the dishes in the dishwasher but even after that she scolded us for not washing them?! There weren’t any detergents for the dishwasher, you expected us to wash them with hands?? I hope you can learn some hospitality manners from others.
• Anela (9/5): Modern and spacious house for an excellent stay - Very modern, comfortable and clean house to spend a lovely weekend in! The house was renovated recently and you can tell: everything is very clean and tidy, but it still has the charm of a countryside house. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen and living area is large, but the best thing might be the infra red sauna, such a luxury to have! It is a 10-minute drive to Bastogne town (where you can park for free) and you do need a car to get around, but that’s just something you choose for. The house itself is definitely worth it!
• David (10/5): Very modern, comprehensively furnished and ideal location. - Exquisite property. Very modern, very comfortable and well designed for 2 couples. Located short drive from Bastogne in a small hamlet in the countryside. House was well furnished and supplied with toiletries, coffee etc. Great base for exploring the Ardennes. Great if you have a car as good safe parking, unlike Bastogne. Nothing to fault.
