Spencer (10/5): Great mountain hotel above Sölden - Heated infinity pool with great views, ski in and ski out, able to purchase lift tickets at the front desk, friendly staff and bartender Not straightforward to access the hotel if the road up the mountain isn’t cleared of snow - will need all wheel drive/snow chains or to pre-book the shuttle that comes only at specified times and only on request.

Martin (10/5): Ein entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub, der ganz toll in Erinnerung bleibt! - Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und das Buffet war ausserordentlich reichhaltig und immer appetitlich dargeboten. Auch im à la Carte Restaurant zum Abendessen gab es abwechslungsreiche und sehr fein gekochte Gerichte und Desserts! Super freundliches Personal, immer hilfsbereit und zur Stelle. Die Lage ist ein wenig abseits vom Schuss. Jedoch ist man wunderschön in der Natur (wundervolle Bergwelt) eingebettet und kann sich mega gut entspannen, da es sehr ruhig ist. Hotel-Shuttle und Taxi-Service waren top und wurden sehr geschätzt!

Herriot (9/5): Uriges Hotel mit tollem Service in atemberaubender Lage - Uriges Ambiente mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und abwechslungsreiches Abendessen. Toller, jedoch teilweise etwas zu enger, Wellnessbereich! Außenpool mit atemberaubenden Blick auf die Berge. Das vorgegebene Abendmenu könnte etwas vielfältiger sein und vielleicht auch weniger exklusiv, dafür mehr rustikal. Nach einem anstrengenden Skitag, tut es auch ein deftiges Abendessen, zum Beispiel Schnitzel mit Pommes, Grillgut oder ähnliches. Vegetarisch ist jedoch sehr gut. Jeden Abend ein Fischgericht? Vielleicht ein Tiroler Buffet?

Sauna, pool area was astonishing, and ski in/ out was perfect still at the end of season. It was top value for money. 👌👍😁 Road and parking is steep and narrow. Visser (5/5): Locatie en faciliteiten zijn top maar management is slecht. - Uitstraling van hotel + kamer en faciliteit zien er allemaal heel goed en uit en zijn goed onderhouden + schoonn Personeel viel mij heel erg tegen. Bij check-in kreeg ik 0,0 uitleg over hoe alles werkte mbt reserveren in restaurant, ski in - ski out en andere 'standaard' zaken. Het personeel (wanneer er niks te doen is) hangt achter de bar en praten heel hard in 'moedertaal' en laten je wachten tot dat zij hier een keer zin in hebben om iets te doen. Na mijn vraag bij de bali of mevrouw een taxi voor de volgende ochtend wilde bestellen (aangezien mijn duits niet goed is ) kreeg ik het een kaartje met een nummer in mijn handen geduwd en zei ze dat ik dit zelf kan doen.

Sabine (9/5): Super Skitage in Sölden - Die Lage mitten in den Bergen auf 2000m ist phänomenal. Der Aussenpool mit Sonnenuntergang über den Bergen spitze. Sehr schön ist auch der Barbereich in dem man sich Abends sehr nett aufhalten kann. Skikeller, Anschluss ans Skigebiet ist alles prima. Das Appartement war neu und sehr schön ausgestattet.

Killian (3/5): Dramatische - De kamers en uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen Het personeel! Totaal niet geschikt voor in een hotel! Niemand nam de telefoon op toen wij dringend hulp nodig hadden met onze aankomst. Tientallen keren de receptie geprobeerd te bereiken, maar niemand nam de moeite op te nemen. Ook op email werd niet gereageerd. Wij wilde namelijk weten hoe wij het hotel het beste konden aan rijden. Ivm sneeuw en gladde wegen konden wij niet naar boven rijden richting het hotel. Wij hebben zelf maar een taxi moeten bestellen a €50 euro om naar het hotel te kunnen vanaf de parkeerplaats onderaan. Dit is ongeveer 2 km afstand. Aangekomen in het hotel ons verhaal uitgelegd en kregen een ruggengraatloze sorry te horen van de niet heel nette receptionist. Ook gevraagd waarom niemand op nam. Deze receptionist zagen wij tijdens avond eten aan de bar hangen met een biertje. Volgende dag kwam er zonder kloppen housekeeping binnen in onze kamer. Dat is ook heel vreemd. Aangekomen bij de receptie wachten ons weer een probleem, de shuttlebus was net vertrokken. We kregen ook geen informatie van de receptie wanneer de shuttlebus zou rijden. Gevraagd of ze ons toch nog konden brengen naar onze auto bleek onmogelijk te zijn. Terwijl het busje gewoon voor het hotel geparkeerd stond. De receptioniste kon niets voor ons betekenen. Het is immers een kleine moeite om naar bendeden te rijden. We konden volgens haar weer een dure taxi bestellen of een paar uur wachten tot de volgende shuttlebus ons kan brengen. Na een uur wachten kwam ze uit het niets dat een paar collega’s die een ski moesten brengen voor reparatie naar beneden gingen met het busje en wij ook mee konden. Uiteraard moesten wij 17 euro betalen om mee te mogen! Terwijl er eerst geen enkele mogelijkheid was om met het busje naar beneden gebracht te worden! Dit hotel is zo verschrikkelijk slecht met het helpen van haar gasten! We hebben dit nog nooit meegemaakt.
Tomasz (10/5): - Wspaniała lokalizacja w otoczeniu najwyższych gór. Doskonałe SPA i strefa relaksu. Bogate śniadania. Bardzo mila i pomocna obsługa. Jedno menu kolacyjne do wyboru dań z karty dla kogoś kto nie ma ochoty na wykupienie całego zestawu kolacyjnego. I jak na takie wyjątkowe miejsce posiłki (choć smaczne) powinny być nieco bardziej wykwintne. Duże porcje.

Ivan (8/5): - Location and hotel infrastructure! We were waiting for transfer for 3 Hours. And hotel personal din not pick up phones or replies to messages. During check out personal charged money for transfer, however in the booking messages it was free. Plus they didn't register us for transfers, but we asked for it multiple times before. As a result there were more people than car could take.
Henry (10/5): Amazing ski and ski out experience with beautiful location - Amazing, the room was very nice, comfortable beds, nice showers, wonderful balcony views. The sauna facilities are great, the breakfast options are superb, bar and restaurant is great. Ski and ski out was perfect. Hard to get to in a snow storm. Hard to get out in winter other than ski out or their shuttle. Shuttle runs at specific times and needs to be prebooked through the staff. Hard to leave early or arrive late in winter. Pool is a bit cold.

Mascha (8/5): Prachtige locatie en fijne wellness in een mooi hotel, met iets meer oog voor detail helemaal top. - De ligging van het hotel was geweldig. De wellness en het prachtige zwembad boden heerlijke ontspanning na het skiën. Het ontbijt en het buffet waren ruim voldoende en mooi gepresenteerd. Het oog van de details ontbreekt soms bij het personeel. De gordijnen s'ochtends dicht in de eetzaal, kaarsen niet aan, open haard niet aan. Bediening heeft niets te doen maar komt niet langs in het cafe om de drankjes op te nemen (dit gold niet bij al het personeel). Op de voorlaatste dag werden de bedden niet opgemaakt en de kamer alleen schoon gemaakt door de prullenbak te legen.

Ádám (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, the location, staff, food etc. We had luck and enought snow for ski in and out but you might check with the hotel first. The road up can be challanging, I made it with a Dacia Dokker with snow chains without problems. I have to praise our receptionist Simona, she was very helpful and really professional, long time the best one I met.
Sergiej (9/5): Ski spot on the slopes. - Perfect location for a daily ski activity. Extra thank you for the room service team. Best cleaning and extra care (little chocolate treats). The fitness lock was constantly jammed. And I was not able to keep my fitness routine. (PLS fix that lock). If you travel there in the winter ALWAYS take a snow chains. I failed few times and had to call specialised taxi.

Very peaceful. - This really blew my mind - the hotel is set in 2000 m above sea, in the vicinity of various trails and with breathtaking mountain views right from your room windows. The most peaceful experience, highly recommended. The access by car from Sölden is a bit adventurous, certainly for an older minivan. :-) But doable!

Francesca (10/5): Amazing stay! - Everything was perfect: the position sourranded by nature, the food (rich, varied and never boring), the room was clean and spacious, the personnel spoke a very good English (differently from some reviews we read here) and the SPA was nice and relaxing. Directly from the hotel there are several amazing hiking trails perfect both for experienced hikers and for begineers. We will definately come again! Very small details could be improved: 1) I would put up a screen or something to separete the terrace/balcon of one room from the adjacent one (our terrace was shared by three rooms, no problem but it would be nice to have more privacy and it would be very easy to divide the terrace in one section per room) 2) It would be nice to have herbal tea or flawored water in the SPA (a very minor detail)

Keith (9/5): Very exotic location, neat hotel & museum combo, drive to hotel in daylight. - Ski in Ski Out. Food was decent. Driving to hotel along mountainside is exciting, bordering on challenging. Hotel & museum combination is interesting. Getting back to hotel from slope is tricky. Got stranded. Should warn guest about time to be back or get stranded. Driving after dark, mountainside can be challenging.
Mcigler (10/5): My secret tip for accommodation in Soelden - Silbertal was a big surprise for me. Comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine, nice wellness centre with a view of the countryside. And helpful staff. But most importantly, in winter I put on my skis right in front of the hotel, and get to the first lift. And in the afternoon I ski down the private slope directly to the hotel. My secret tip for Soelden, next time only here. The access road can be difficult to navigate after a heavy snowfall, but the hotel handles its own transport from their private car park. And the hotel could work a bit on the scrambled eggs, it makes them terribly dry :).

Katarzyna (9/5): Worth visiting! - Before coming to Hotel Silbertal we were quiet concerned about recent reviews of the hotel. Luckily most of them appeared to be misleading! Hotel Silbertal is located in the beautiful surrounding on the mountain. The way uphill by the car is quiet demanding. We didn’t have snow chains or 4x4 and managed to reach the hotel but in case of heavy snow it would be impossible. In case someone can’t reach the hotel on his own the hotel provides shuttle service. The hotel is very close to the ski lift. The hotel lift doesn’t work but honestly it doesn’t change anything. For skiers the nearest lift is very easy reachable, snowboarders have to walk a bit, but I did it and it wasn’t a problem - just a good warm up :) Hotel offers sauna and relax area with beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Breakfast starts at 8, but the ski lift starts at 9 so it’s not a problem. Everyday the same for breakfast but very plentiful. Dinner starts at 18 and consists of 4 courses - you can choose if you want regular or vegetarian main course. Everyday the dinner menu is different and you get informed about it during the breakfast. Rooms are very cosy. We had a really great stay!! Parking in front of the hotel was problematic. There wasn’t enough car places for everyone. We had problem at the day of leaving because we were blocked by other cars. Dinner menu didn’t always come up to everyone’s taste.
Alexis (8/5): Very good - Mixed Feelings First of all, let’s start by saying that we enjoyed a lovely 6 nights stay. The room was clean with enough space, an incredible view and very very calm. It is a great feeling to be so far away from the centre. This was just what we needed. Plus, the hotel allows dogs which was a must for us. However, the hotel gives me a strange feeling. Although most of the people working at the hotel are friendly and helpful, it feels like the management of the hotel does not want to have guests. Some examples: - What’s all the fuzz about the shuttle car? We were lucky and could drive up to the hotel by car but our friends were not that lucky and had to take a shuttle. No no, not the shuttle from the hotel, they had to inform at the hotel next door for a shuttle service to the centre. So strange. Why send your guests to another hotel for a service? Charge your room a little more and include a daily shuttle from the centre to the hotel. It could probably attract external guests to the restaurant. - Why is the belt to the nearest ski lift not working? It can always happen that it breaks down… but something tells me this has been broken for weeks. - Why have such a limited lunch menu? Once again, we went to the hotel next door for lunch. Isn’t it strange that in one week, we go 3 times to the hotel next door (where we felt more welcome by the way)? - The music playing on the terrace is just the radio. Although it’s interesting hearing the news every hour, it could be something more joyful. - Why only start breakfast at 8h and have only one coffee machine? Doors go open and suddenly your stuck in the breakfast buffet traffic jam with all hotel guests at once - While the staff, for the most part, were friendly, the overall service level lacked the warmth and hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. As guests, we appreciated efficient service, but it's equally important to feel genuinely welcomed and valued. I’m sure there are reasons and explanations for this. However, these seemingly minor issues can collectively impact guests' perceptions of the hotel's quality and attentiveness. If I would be the owner, my ambition would be that all Solden visitors would want to come at least once during their stay to have a great lunch or a warm/refreshing drink and experience the beautiful view of my sunny terrace. But no, I was the only one enjoying a drink…each day of the week. Silbertal Hotel has a unique location with an incredible view and has so much potential. Unfortunately, I have the impression management does not see it. Don’t get me wrong, we had a great stay! I’m just worried that if management lacks more ambition, people will stay away from Silbertal, causing financial issues which will have a negative impact on investments and maintenance. And that can be the negative spectre to bankruptcy. I just wanted to share my honest opinion on the hotel.
John (10/5): Exceptional - The amazing location just adds to what is an excellent hotel with nice, friendly staff. Food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast and there is a big terrace with fantastic views. The skiing facilities are great with true ski in ski out (for reasonable skiers) on small private runs.
Vroomfondle (10/5): My new favourite hotel. - My new favourite hotel. Perched in the mountains at 2000m right on the edge of the ski slopes. Terrific drive up (you need a 4x4 and chains unless you use their shuttle). Lovely wooden chalet. Very traditional. Beautiful mountain views. Great bar and après ski terrace. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Reception area houses an impressive collection of rocks and minerals. Breakfast is great. Dinner is exceptional. Fine dining at altitude. We were very happy with the vegetarian options. An imaginative and skilful chef is at work here. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Zvonimir (7/5): Good - Brekfast is great, ski in, ski out, view from the terrace, home atmosphere. Location, you have to drive 4x4 to get to the hotel, the air in the room is very dry due to too much heating, literally i was weaking up every hour at night to drink water
Charlotte (9/5): Beautiful, friendly hotel in the mountains with brilliant food - I absolutely loved this hotel! I had a shock when I arrived and discovered that it's far up in the mountains... I thought that there would be a beginner ski slope in/out but I soon discovered that I'd have to pay for some VERY expensive taxis (45 euroas one way to Solden!) until I learned to ski! However, despite this I'm still extremely glad I stayed at Silbertal - it's a lovely, friendly hotel and the food is fantastic. I was alone, but the staff were so friendly I never felt like I was on my own. And eventually I even managed to ski to the town! :) The only issue was the location, but if you book ski lessons with the Blue ski school then the hotel provides a shuttle to the slopes for 8 euros each way - only on ski school days though. Otherwise, you cannot fault this hotel as it's lovely!

Dogs are allowed, but we had one dog running into our room - simplic not acceptable. Staffing at reception often not present! Dinner first night was a mess as the chef was drunken!!!!
Dmitry (9/5): Great mounting views hotel - If you are looking for the hotel on top of the mountain - this one is exactly what you need! Amazing views from the terrace, no cars around, just fresh air and clouds. Yes, it is about 3km gravel road up to the hill, but it was easy to get there (in summer). We had a spacious room for 5 person with a terrace which was nice. Great place to stay in summer time for hiking. It was boiling in the room during the night, even when it was +10C outside, so we were sleeping with the balcony door open.

Alexey (4/5): Overpriced offer for the service received. - The dinner in the restaurant of the hotel was awesome. Wine selection and the combination with dishes was perfect. Big respect and thank you to the chef de cuisine and the team. Closeness to the ski area is one of the huge advantages of this place. It was the first time when we got so poor service of room cleaning. It was simply done only once in the whole week after several reminders made to the management of the hotel. There are obviously different types of family rooms which we were not aware of in advance. Thus we got a tiny family room in the chalet where other groups of people were living too. Some nights were simply too loud due to the parties happened in the nearby rooms/appartments. I would not recommend such appartments for the families especially with kids.
