Guest Reviews
- Lynda (3/5): Expensive, dirty kitchen, poorly maintained, stay somewhere else. - The location.
It allowed a dog to stay.
The air conditioners & electric blankets were very good on a very cold weekend. The property asked, via msg, 2 days before check in, when we would arrive. I replied via msg we will arrive 3-4pm. My friend & I arrived late, at 5pm, due to traffic. The property was very difficult to find. I had had no reply from the property about how to get in.I hadn't been sent the code to the lock box as they had promised. I rang the customer contact number for Booking.com. The line dropped out 3 times. Then I got through & was put on hold. When I finally spoke to someone they couldn't hear me so I had to ring 3 more times. Then I got another person who told me this was my fault as I hadn't advised the property when I would arrive, which was untrue. She put me on hold again, then came back & said they couldn't contact the property & would have to send us to another property. I told her that they wouldn't be able to move me as I had a dog & that was about the only property in the area that took a pet. She kept telling me we would have to go elsewhere. I ended up talking over her, because she wouldn't listen, to say she just needed to get the lock box code & we could get in. FINALLY someone rang & gave us the lock box code. So we had been standing outside on a VERY cold windy night in the dark for over an hour arguing with multiple people just to get into the house. The house doesn't have a dishwasher. The cups, plates, pots & pans were dirty. We had to wash up before cooking dinner. The baking dish didn't fit into the oven. Then we realised the oven wasn't working. So we had to take our meal out of the oven & heat it in a fry pan. The air conditioner heated the living areas but not the bedrooms. The beds had good electric blankets but they used the only powerpoints so I couldnt charge my phone overnight. There were enough beds for 6 people but not enough cutlery or crockery for 6 people. The front & back doors locked automatically with or without a key on the inside.
- Linda (8/5): Very good - The location The downstairs shower leaked the whole time
- Sarah (5/5): Passable - The location was good. The place was clean. The queen bed downstairs was broken. The bathroom upstairs leaked water everywhere and left grease on your hands after turning the tap. The light globe in one of the rooms was out.
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (10/5): Thank you, Travelling with family this property provided all the comforts of home. Fantastic stay, and will be recommend - Location and facilities were awesome. Had all the comforts of home, very comfortable. Couldn’t locate a broom but I may have just missed it.
- Luke (8/5): Would come again. - A good size and close to inner Bathurst. Furniture was comfortable and very easy to relax. Excellent shower and water pressure downstairs. No rails on the stairs was a little surprising. My brothers I and are tall people and found the sloping roof wood a bit annoying, and banged our heads a few times. House has an odd layout.
