- Trish (9/5): Overall a great stay. - It was a great place with great hosts. The beds were super comfortable. They were very generous with their supplies. Great value for money. The floor hadn't been mopped in a while and there were noticable previous occupants crumbs/drink/food spots etc under the coffee table and in the kitchen area. The shower area needs a good scrub - grout pink which can come off with a good clean.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -

- Robert (10/5): An ideal place to spend a short break in a beautiful location. - We can happily sing the praises of Gully Getaway and our helpful and generous hosts, Julie and Greg. It was an ideal location for spending three days as part of our 60th wedding anniversary. The garden and surrounds were a delight with numerous birds flitting amongst the shrubbery. Despite some wild and woolly weather, once inside we were astounded by the quietness. Being a couple of kms from Creswick we were able to enjoy both the close availability of town amenities coupled with a glorious isolation once at the cottage. The amenities were all you could expect in a first-class accommodation. We also appreciated the wide selection of cooking and maintenance provisions. We have stayed at many cottages both in Australia and overseas and Gully Getaway rates amongst the very best. We will always remember the kindness of Julie in presenting us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers in recognition of our 60th. After a second's consideration - NOTHING
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the comfy beds, the shower, the whole place really, it was beautiful! The owners are lovely people. Would definitely recommend booking here. Will definitely be returning! Thank you so much! There isn't anything we didn't like.
- Dani (10/5): Very comfortable and convenient place to stay in a quiet native garden setting. - This was a return visit for me and I was accompanied by my siblings. The property is well constructed and insulated. The kitchen is very well equipped, one of the best of any place I’ve stayed in. I like to be able to be prepare food at my accomodation where possible and this is easy to do. Everything is very comfortable. A bonus was the extra items such as food items. Very generous and much appreciated. My sister and I both had lovely walks around the nearby tracks behind the property.

Very comfortable beds, pillows and linen (long beds for tall people) Set in a bird attracting native garden - no need to move off the porch. Great couples getaway. Warm with reverse cycle in each room. Great WIFI and Bose and a dish washer! Great walking tracks I really couldn't think of anything else you would need. Coffee machine is Nespresso so bring your favourite pods. Maybe a pack of cards though there are plenty of games, books, puzzles and a flat screen TV

Very cosy, comfortable and well insulated against the cold local climate. There are so many positives about this property.

- Kate (10/5): A clean and well appointed stay. - Clean property. Loked fact had some basic food stocks and snacks available. Nothing.
- Juli (10/5): The host was very accommodating with our late arrival - The location was beautiful and quiet. Being from a farm it felt like I was still at home and the beds were super comfortable. There was a lovely assortment of tea and coffee in the pantry. For a small building it was very spacious. I loved their enclosed vegetable garden you could see from the window of the cottage. I did look for an iron as that would have been handy but not essential. I couldn't find one.
- Jacki (10/5): Exceptional - It was beautiful, location looking out the door to the flowers and bush land was amazing.
Would definitely recommend this property to stay. Nothing at all.
- Anthony (9/5): A very comfortable place for a stopover. - The accommodation was very well equipped and provided milk and juice in the fridge, plus snacks. It had a fully fun kitchen including Nespresso machine with pods provided. The accommodation was standalone and very private. There was a large wall mounted tv which worked well. Wifi was also provided. The shower was great (water pressure and temperature). The hosts welcomed me on arrival which I thought was a nice touch. Hosts property was nearby - hosts were hospitable and offered assistance but were not intrusive. Hosts left the property open for me on arrival so key pick up was not required. Accommodation was secure with good locks on doors and windows. The bed was comfortable however the pillows were very soft and I needed to use both pillows and a towel in between to achieve a reasonable level of firmness.
- Paul (10/5): great - great spot an facility nothing

- Anonymous (10/5): Great property for our bridal party to stay and get ready before the wedding. - The property layout was great with everything that was needed for a 2 night stay. The beds were so comfortable. Hosts were lovely and very considerate.
- Martin (10/5): Very enjoyable. - Friendly and helpful host, excellent accommodation about 2km from Creswick town centre. Very attractive rural setting. Grounds were attractively planted. Native birds in the trees and bushes. Helpful leaflets and brochures available in the rooms. Also Creswick town has an interesting history and interesting environs. N/a
- Raelene (10/5): Great host Very friendly - Beautiful location. Excellent property. Very comfortable, clean ,spacious, great facilities
- Jeniphyr (10/5): Our favourite holiday accommodation - We loved our four nights stay at Gully Getaway. It is in a quiet location with lovely gardens and surrounding bush right on the edge of town with quick access to cafes & shops. Private with plenty of space for 2 people and undercover parking. Beds were super comfortable and it had everything we needed. Gully Getaway is at the top of our list of favourite holiday accommodation experiences. Nothing.
- Gillam (10/5): A pleasant suprise on arrival, a beautifull setting. - The quality of amenities and the lttle details that make the difference between ordinary and exceptional. Plenty of extras laid onto add to the experience. Quality fittings especially decent tap-ware in the shower. Good heating system. Nothing
- Emmalyne (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Perfect for relaxation and close proximity to events such as the Ballarat Foto Biennale. - Great location away from the business and night lights of town, only 15mins from Ballarat CBD. Surrounded by nature, plenty of privacy, nice to sit out on veranda. Place was very clean except we had to clean microwave before using it.
- Malienda (10/5): Exceptional - It was such a nice little place to stay
- Karyn (9/5): Loved it - Peaceful. New. Great set up. Small critique. A full length mirror is needed somewhere in the property (in fact anywhere people stay overnight). Presumably plenty of people stay there when they are attending events, and need a proper full length mirror. This is a cheap must do for the owners.
- Jacinta (10/5): Would have loved to stay longer if we’d had the time. Will definitely be back. - Lovely relaxed feeling with everything you need. Nothing.
- Catherine (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable, quite place with great host. - Beautiful, peaceful location. Easy to find with a very helpful and friendly host. Place was well fitted out with everything we needed for our short stay. Highlights were the Beds and beautiful bush surroundings. Will definitely stay again. Not applicable
- Divyesh (10/5): Exceptional holiday house - Everything you need for a family getaway, full kitchen, snacks, games. A lot of thought has gone into simple things which someone may need on a trip. Nothing to not like. One suggestion can be to have a smart TV (instead of the current one). But that’s a minor thing. Everything else was above and beyond.
- Peter (10/5): Great location. Very nice accomodation and very friendly host. - Great location. Very nice accomodation and very friendly host. Nothing
- Alison (8/5): Suited us very well for our short stay. - There was more milk etc provided than what we expected to find in the fridge and the cupboard. It was close enough to the township for us. The setting was nice. Plenty of space inside to spread out. Good heating including bedrooms.
Comfy beds. Price was great. Mostly everything you need, but an iron and iron board would have been handy. (Even a little mini ironing board would have been good). And I would put a long length mirror on the back of a door.
Other than that everything you need seemed to be there.
We only booked for one night.
- Hydon (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy beds, quiet location, little snacks, lovely host, beautiful bush setting
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregory (10/5): A fabulous place to stay for up to 4 people and perfect if you like a rural setting close to town. - Great location in a quiet and easy to find rural area. A very clean and functional house with everything provided for our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. We met Julie on arrival (she is a very friendly and approachable person) and she provided us with great advice regarding local places to eat. Nil
