• Mai (8/5): Fabulous location and blast from the past decor - The location and old style of the house There was only one teaspoon, some of the globes need replacing There were no coffee pods to fit the machine
• Telley (8/5): - The view was great and close walk to the shops. Fridge was not very cold (very old). And the 6min walk as described in the listing failed to mention a cliff face path walk which was disappointing.

• Chris (9/5): Pebble View is a comfortable and well curated step back into the 70s with a spectacular view towards Phillip Island. - Loved the location and the decor. Also the fireplace was ready to use and extra wood stacked beside it. The kitchen is a bit tired but we didn’t use it much as there are so many eat out options nearby.

• Judy (8/5): I loved watching the sunrise from the lounge - Location was beautiful, great view of the ocean and walking distance to the shops Unless we lit the fire it was cold as we were only allowed two heaters at a time. I also received 6 messages about our stay and the rules which was too much.

• Andrea (9/5): Beach shack in an A grade location. Worked well as weekend accommodation for three couples. - Excellent location with a beautiful water view, easy walk to beach & village. Three couples stayed & each had a bathroom which was appreciated. Dining area spacious, cosy living area. It’s very dated, the kitchen was very dark, linen very old (but clean). We were asked to only use two heaters at a time and I’m not sure that this would be adequate for cold weather/ a winter stay (we lit the open fire & that was lovely).

• Claudia (7/5): It’s a beautiful part of the world, a great getaway - The location is Perfect, the views of the ocean from the dining room are stunning We love coming to this property every year with our family and fur babies, however the backyard lawn requires attention as it’s been taken over by prickly weeds over the past year, which was not ideal for sensitive feet and paws. We also feel the mattresses in the front bedrooms needs to be replaced
• Anthony (7/5): Good - Location, cleanliness, well stocked/ appointed 2 double beds and one of the single beds were extremely saggy. The double beds weren't suitable at all for 2 people due to this.

• Diana (8/5): Very good - Perfect location with spectacular views. Just a suggestion more modern linen would look better as there are too many browns and orange tones through the house making the house look too dated. We had issues with the electric meter tripping constantly. We could not use the hotplates, microwave and toaster together and needed to use them one at a time whilst switching off the electric heater and not use the dishwashers. it was too much power load and keep tripping the safety switch. Also the wall heaters in the bedrooms were ineffective. Besides these issues we did enjoy the location and the property.

• Jean (9/5): Fantastic! - Location was amazing, the rooms were perfect for our family however the split level was a bit difficult with a 9 month old crawler! It is an old house as you can see in the pics however it is clean and has everything you need and I believe the price reflects this. The host was available to answer any questions and made us feel welcome via message upon arrival and during our stay. Would certainly recommend, thank you. Broken clothes horse
• Sharon (5/5): Passable - Perfect location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach. There were mould patches on the ceiling, shower and one of the shower curtains. Beds were soft with uneven filling. .

• Roberto (8/5): Lovely spot overlooking the bay and Philip island - Very clear set of instructions, lots of space and beautiful views from the sitting/dining rooms A little bit dusty under the couches, noticed because small children drop things, otherwise unnoticeable

• Thisuni (9/5): A spacious house with a lot of character and retro charm, with incredible views of Flinders. - It really does feel like you’ve stepped back into the 70s at Pebble Views, we fell in love with the decor - from the tea towels to the lamps and tiles in the bathroom, every last detail had that genuine retro charm to match the period of the house. It made for a really wholesome stay. It’s also really large and practical - we cooked there and also made Father’s Day breakfast. The views of the water were hard to beat, all very close to the main strip in Flinders and a lovely spot for walks. It had a big backyard for our dog and daughter to run around in. The hosts were lovely - responsive and gave us a very late checkout at short notice. We loved it there and will definitely go back!

The 1970's retro vibe worked well and the position is exceptional. Great for a family or couples beach holiday. Flinders is a beautiful place with great food and shopping.

• Weddall (8/5): Wonderful host - very responsive and helpful, home in a great location - would definitely stay again - We stayed at Pebble Views to attend a family wedding in Red Hill - the location was fabulous, great ocean views, and the charming cottage was like stepping back in time. It suited our needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable and a great location.
