Great outdoor space in lovely garden with local bird life being frequent visitors. Well Presented rooms and great interior space particularly liked the 'sun room' area which was great space to unwind. Not really anything to dislike only thing to be aware off is the narrow driveway which may be an issue if arriving in a large type car.

• Guest (10/5): Exceeded expectations - This property totally exceeded our expectations. Location is amazing... a stone's throw from one of the most tourist-visited sites in Australia, yet quiet and private. Beautifully maintained and very nicely and tastefully decorated. Exceptionally clean. It was better than the photos conveyed. Frankly I wouldn't want to rent it out if it were mine. It's too nice! There were a couple quirky little blips with appliances but those were worked out and far outweighed by the positives. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to friends and family.

• Arun (10/5): Lovely! Our toddler loved the birds. - The house was fully equipped, complete with all the utensils. It felt very cosy, with the decorations, furniture, and so on. Loved the gas heater in the hall. The kitchen tap only supplies cold water, making quick washes difficult during winter. Additionally, like many Australian houses, the insulation is inadequate, causing the house to become very cold in winter. We had to block the doors with the provided mats to prevent cold air from entering. But after a while with the heaters on, it wasnt too bad.

Very comfortable stay, will be back in future should we ever return to Blue Mountains! Shower screen installed was too short, resulting in water spillage onto the bathroom floor after every shower. Could consider elongating the shower screen or adding a makeshift one. Heating in the main bedroom (nearest the front door) and hallway was abit lesser compared to living/dining/kitchen areas, could be a tad cold during winter.

My mom didn't like the mattress on one of the beds but there was an extra bed we could use, all the cooking staples, books, board games etc just makes this a home away from home. All main attractions and bus stop are literally around the corner. And the fireplace in the house was our family favourite! Maybe a bit obvious but bring a mosquito repellent if you want to use the garden.

I loved all the condiments in the fridge and little things they had; it actually felt like I was staying in a house with a very hospitable person. The backyard was gorgeous. The host was so caring and very responsive to my special requests. Only a 5 minute walk to the three sisters. Thank you for our stay 🥰 Honestly can't think of one bad thing.

• Leona (10/5): Excellent stay and great location - Excellent location and a very hospitable host who is very knowledgeable and provided handy tips and information to make the stay very comfortable. I love the extra effort to make the home festive. We stayed over the Christmas period and I love the detailing around the house with Christmas decorations. Absolutely loved this accommodation and we will be back. So nice and clean and comfortable. Aircon was very handy given the hot Australian summer. Easy walk to the 3 sisters. A handy tip for all is that if you want to spend some extra dollars, there are 2 very good restaurants nearby at the Echoes and Lilianfels for breakfast with a view and high tea or even a night cap.

• Tien (10/5): Cosy home away from home!! - The cottage was an extremely cosy home away from home for us - this is a well appointed cottage within a short walking distance to Echo point / Three Sisters lookout, as well as the Skyway East Station of Scenic World. Blackheath and the Megalong valley are a relatively short drive away. We are glad to have spent several days here. Thank you Deborah (owner)! Nothing at all.
• Stephen (10/5): Beautiful Cottage in a Beautiful Location - This was such a beautiful cottage, I'd love to live somewhere like this. Very clean and tidy, very comfy. And I loved the decor, especially the wood floors. There are two double rooms, a sitting room, dining area, and kitchen area. It's got everything you could need, and the kitchen is especially well equipped. The garden is beautiful. Being in Katoomba it's a great place from which to explore the Blue Mountains, and the 3 Sisters Lookout (the most famous lookout in the Blue Mountains) is only 5 minutes walk away. I woke up one morning to watch sunrise from there and got some great photos. Very quiet and peaceful. N/A

• Ambre (9/5): Superb - Gorgeous little cottage with an impressive garden. Well decorated, equipped, super clean and the beds are comfortable. The owner is responsive and kind. The location is the best, right by the three sisters! The only hiccup we had was that the cottage is quite cold. There is a nice artificial open fire in the living room but we all did get cold during the night, so an extra blanket on the beds would be necessary. Other than that, everything was perfect

Property had a very homely feel and the host had considered everything travellers may need. Well equipped kitchen with condiments and spices in the cupboard for use. Beautiful garden. Very clean and thoughtfully presented property. We will certainly be coming again. Deborah the host was very responsive and very helpful. Property only had one bathroom, so a second toilet would be handy. Driveway a bit narrow, but still wide enough for a large SUV - perhaps move the pots on the driveway to make it easier to open car doors. Back gate did not open, but would have been easier to bring in luggage if it was accessible.

When we arrived we found a beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and spacious cottage, with a fully equipped kitchen, air-con, and wi-fi. A standout feature is the large, beautifully kept back garden, complete with a lovely fish pond! The location is also amazing, just a few minutes walk to the Three Sisters lookout at Echo Point, and a few minutes drive to other beautiful lookouts as well as Scenic World.

• Pei (10/5): Will definitely come back to Winston cottage if I got the chance to back to Blue Mountain again. - Winston cottage is clean, homely and decorated beautifully. Owner also prepared some cooking ingredients like oil, salt, sugar butter which we can use for simple cooking for our daughter. The warmer in the house and bed is definitely a plus point for cold weather. The garden at the backyard is beautifully maintained. Although is not common in Australia, but a toilet seat with warmer will makes the stay more pleasant.

The accommodations were not only comfortable but also exceptionally clean and well-maintained. One highlight of our stay was the stunning garden. The garden was not just beautiful but meticulously tended too. The colourful flowers added a touch of magic to our mornings, and we often found ourselves strolling through it, admiring the vibrant blooms. The only minor suggestion to make the stay even more wonderful, it would be to consider providing milk as part of the amenities. Having milk readily available would have been the perfect addition to our mornings.

• Brenna (7/5): Poor Customer Service - How homey if felt and the relaxing atmosphere of the property. **I am editing this review to update the professionalism conveyed by the property manager** The hot water ran out pretty quickly but I felt the shower head actually had “too” much pressure on it despite me turning the water down. My partner and I didn't think much of it since the weather was so cold and the water pressure was so high. I honestly thought it was weather driven and not a 'fault' in the property. Today I received a voicemail review regarding this issue. Happy to respond and discuss the issue further I contacted the property manager. Surprisingly the conversation was not regarding the fault at all, but regarding my actions. I then received an 8 minute lecture at how 'disappointed' she was in how I conveyed the issue in the Booking.com review and not directly to her. That conveying these issues on booking.com affects the amount of bookings and overall scores etc. Now I can understand the importance of contacting the property manager directly if I thought it was an actual fault in the property however aforementioned I thought this was weather driven---which I explained again during the phone call. I was stunned by the conversation and in disbelief about the inappropriateness and unprofessionalism displayed by the property manager. She spoke over me regarding my 'disappointing actions' and only ending the phone call when I reached my limit stating I got the message and didn't appreciate her lecturing me. So much so, after discussing this directly with Booking.com Customer Service I've decided to edit my review and lower my overall score from 10/10 to a 7/10 (even that's generous). I reserve the right to say what I want and property managers should not feel they can lecture someone on how to post reviews. Please do not contact me again. The property didn't sour the experience, you did.
