Guest Reviews
- Lisa (8/5): Well priced enjoyable and comfortable stay in Katoomba. - Clean and comfortable. Perfect for our small group.
Gorgeous living and sub rooms.
Modern bathroom.
Close to echo point.
Lovely neighbourhood. Love the autumn trees.
Affordable. Toilet blocking up wasn’t great. Fixed in good time though.
Next doors neighbours very noisy - kept up a few of the ladies all night.
Floorboards and loud shutting doors also kept us all up whenever someone got up to go to the bathroom at night.
Lack of dark room (no curtains) made it too light for those sleeping in room behind kitchen.
May I suggest under door ‘snakes’ to help soundproof bedrooms.
- Larry (8/5): - Bedrooms and common spaces. Bathrooms spacious. Big bath
- Shannon (10/5): -
- Debra (9/5): Relaxing Weekend away with friends - Warm on arrival. Spacious , clean and modern inside .central location . Good parking. Good communication with host . Next door to big block units
- Allison (10/5): Was a lovely house in a great location, owners are lovely, would happily stay again. - location, everything was easy to find, very friendly and accommodating.
- Monique (7/5): Cottage like stay in the blue mountains. -
- Qing (10/5): Exceptional -
- Who (8/5): Nice location house, family stay - good size house and rooms that we need matching.
Bathroom clean and shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer available.
Nice towel.
Hand soap available.
Plenty of blanket.
Host Pauline is very kind and easy to communicate with. Driveway a bit tight with all plants on the side needs trimming. Please drive carefully if you do not want your car scratch otherwise to park on the road.
Mattress on back room is not comfortable at all for adults, but the other 3 rooms are okay.
Pillow a bit soft, need better one.
- Stephen (6/5): it provided the experience we required -
- Anne-marie (8/5): Very good - Clean facilities and nice rooms
- Barbara (7/5): Very cosy and comfortable house, shame about it’s location. - The heating in the house was fantastic and the kitchen and bathrooms were lovely. It is just such a disappointment that the house is in a rather unpleasant location. The location of the house, and the driveway could use some attention.
- Tracey (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (9/5): Comfortable house and good for 4 adults and 2 to 4 children. - Clean and comfortable. Great to have a complete set of operating manuals for appliances. Easy to get to everywhere. Needed more hand towels and queen size blankets for those who don’t like quilts or electric blankets.
- Shell (7/5): A great weekend base for exploring the Mountains! - Great proximity to Katoomba shops and 3 Sisters. Excellent value for money, roomy. N/a
- Gek (9/5): Clean and well-equipped. We will book this house if we visit Blue Mountains again. - The driveway is a bit narrow.
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good - The property was lovely and clean Would have been nice to have had a little welcome pack on arrival i.e milk
- Anonymous (10/5): Our family enjoyed the 3 nights stay. - Nice kitchen, bathrooms. Plenty of clean bed covers and quilts. Electrical blanket and heater made every night warm and cosy. There is no air conditioner.
- Jerry (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (7/5): We had a comfortable stay thank you - Although the layout of the house is a little quirky, everything inside the house was great, nice linen and towels, well equipped kitchen, plenty of soap and loo paper and everything was very clean and tidy. Location is great for the Three Sisters and Echo Point. From the outside, the house looks in poor repair and is next door to a poorly maintained block of flats. It would have been helpful to have a tumble drier. The frying pans could do with being replaced.
- Johns (9/5): Will return. Will not find a better location or more comfortable house in Katoomba for same price. - Great location. Three sisters was a 10 minute walk away. We also walked to coffee shop and dinner.
The bedrooms were all good sizes with electric blankets on every bed and the central heating throughout the house was excellent. We didn't have to worry about being cold in Katoomba in June! Nice modern bathrooms with great water pressure too. The driveway was quite narrow but it was nice to park car close beside the house and not on the street.
Only took it out twice anyway due to great location.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - all good couches
- Aylwin (10/5): family enjoyed the place very much - spacious, well maintained, have everything we needed, and host was very responsive and helpful! nil
- Eilis (8/5): Very good - A nice place to stay in the Blue Mountains. Walking distance to the shops of Katoomba. Comfortable, warm and plenty of room. Just a bit on the pricey side.
- Alison (7/5): Good house, great location and I would recommend this house as an affordable place to stay. - Great spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything we needed was there except not enough toilet paper. The heating motor was very loud during the night, we turned the temperature down which reduced the noise a bit, but it was still disrupting our sleep. The rosebushes need trimming down the side of the driveway. Because the driveway was narrow we kept on getting pricked by the rosebush thorns when trying to get into our car. We ended up parking in the street (not a big issue).
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
