The shower, toilet and kitchen are particularly tired. It wasn’t clean on arrival and beds needed making. The cleaning fee for the dogs was exorbitant; $50 per dog, per night.

• Penny (7/5): Lovely place to stay, we aim to come again with our dogs. - Fantastic location, nice feel inside the main part of the house, lovely sitting outside and on the upstairs deck, great kitchen benches, microwave and induction (?) stove top. Great recycling options. We really appreciated allowing dogs to stay. Upstairs room not very useable as very hot, single toilet with very thin walls can make life a little challenging! Shower room was fine but not wonderful. A bit more kitchen equipment would have been helpful eg a mixing bowl, a useable grater, some more pots and pans (ideally non stick)
• Brianna (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, cozy accomodation. Didn’t have any hot water for 1 night of our 2 night stay. Water was freezing cold and we couldn’t shower or wash hair. Was fixed for the second night but was unfortunate to have to deal with that in our short stay. No apologies or compensation for the inconvenience either- which was pretty poor considering how much we paid per night.

• Mark (7/5): Cute homely cottage, great location - The property is in a beautiful location lovely grounds and great space. Cottage vibes with lovely fire for winter! Very homely feel and spacious kitchen with all necessities provided. Customer service not good. We were told a portacot and a highchair would be provided, however, they were not. When I made staff aware, they said they would try and locate both for us but heard nothing... then I Received a message to ask how they could make our stay more comfortable and again I asked for the highchair after sourcing our own portacot and our request was ignored. I was told to look in cupboards/wardrobes which I had already been asked to do! Also required to pay extra $ for 2hrs early check in so baby could nap however as there was no cot we instead had to spend those extra 2hrs sourcing a cot. Not great service. Overall I would say overpriced. At this price customer service should be 10/10.

• Elle (8/5): Great few days in a beautiful area. Dog friendly. Will go back anytime and already recommended to all our friends. - We loved the house’s location. You can hear the sea all the time and there’s a lovely view from the balcony. The house is cose to the beach and dog park, which was great for us. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy, so we couldn’t use the outdoor bath and shower, but would like to go back in Summer for that. We had our dogs with us and walked up the road to The Café for breakfast and dinner a few times as well as a lovely beach walk to The White Elephant Café and walks in the Margaret River Forest. The kitchen is well equipped and we had a bbq one afternoon. Our teenage daughters also enjoyed their stay and were grateful for the reliable Wifi 😉 Can’t complain about anything, only would have liked a coffee machine… but the café up the road had great coffee. (And breakfast 😊) There’s no fenced garden so you can’t leave your dogs, but we took our dogs out with us, so didn’t bother us.

• Anonymous (8/5): Ocean View - great value for money. - Ocean View is a great holiday house very close to beach, park, cafe/restaurant and shop in Prevelly. We really enjoyed our stay (family of 4 including 2 almost grown up kids) and the surrounding area. Well stocked to self-cater and abundant linen, etc. Would definitely recommend. Air on would have been a bonus but sea breeze made it fine and cool in the evenings.

• David (7/5): Lovely space beautiful part of the world! - The location of the property is excellent- the children could access the park and beach without crossing any roads ( just a car park). There’s a great cafe within 2 mins walk. The street is relatively quiet (lawn mowing and other regular noise but nothing extraordinary). The beds and space are good but I wouldn’t recommend this house during the summer as they only have 2 standing fans and no ceiling fans or air conditioning. The outdoor space is excellent- lovely garden and 2 outdoor sitting/ eating areas. The house backs onto a thoroughfare which provides a lot of space for children to play and it’s quiet. Very comfortable stay. The check in was terrible- we stood outside for over 2 hours in the rain without access to the code for the keys. Even though we called many times we weren’t able to get through to anyone. Unable to get into the house via agent contact. The towel/sheet cleaning people dropped off and left a massive metal trolley on the front veranda for 2 days of our stay - not covered from the rain/sun either so not sure of cleanliness by the time they were inside the property.

• Chris (9/5): Beach house stay - The location and layout of property was great perfect for a small family holiday. The property manager was super fast on getting empty gas bottles replaced. The stove top operation wasn't easy.
