• Chalotte Molvang (8/5): Pleasant stay at the cottage - Location and off street parking. Lovely stone cottage. Wifi is free but can only be used for emails and low data, otherwise potential charges, so make sure you have your own data if you want to stream.

• Robert (10/5): A most enjoyable stay. - The location was excellent. The house was perfect for our group of 4 with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lovely to be able to sit outside in the afternoons. I really can’t think of anything.
• Rhoda (3/5): Nosey, intrusive host - The property was beautiful, great value for money, close to everything in town and the riverfront. The host entering the property while I wasn't there. The host accusing me of stealing keys that didnt exist well at least I didn't see them I suggest she look elsewhere. The host accusing me of having 6 people at the property when in fact it was just myself and my teenage daughter. The host telling me they have my car registration, umm ok and I did nothing wrong. So basically the host stalking and snooping through the property while no one is in which is against all privacy laws because I rented the whole property for 3 days. I left early because I didnt feel safe, secure or comfortable.

• Jane (8/5): Very relaxing much needed break. - Very peaceful and nice to see the fruit trees out the back. The bed was very comfortable. The lighting was a bit too dim in the lounge room, having an adjustable dimmer would help. This would be difficult for anyone who had an eye condition to see.

The location is fabulous walk-in distance to everything The trip hazards, all the mats and the steps only because my clients were bigger ladies and one tripped up the rug in the lounge and I had to call an ambulance as I could not assist her to get up

• Shecky (8/5): Having 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great, lovely grounds, well maintained. - Great location and would stay here again, beds were comfortable. Pod coffee machine would be nice addition. Some of the bathroom towels were a little old and could do with replacing. Also suggest replacing at least 1 of the fry pans as was not usable. Few improves suggested for the price paid.

I think there was a fair bit of dust in the air conditioners, I had dust allergies flair up. That's the only problem but easy to solve, some Telfast from the servo.

It was peaceful and private and Waikerie proved to be a great base from which to explore the Riverland. Booking and check-in was very easy. Communication from the host was very clear.

• Bhatt (4/5): My stay was far from enjoyable, and I wouldn't consider booking it aga - Location of the property was good. Close to grocery store and restaurants The cottage was quite dusty, especially beneath the furniture and the bed. There were notes placed on various appliances like the wifi modem, washing machine, and fireplace, requesting limited or no use, which was frustrating considering the high cost of the accommodation. While the house had a charming antique style in its furniture and interior, the leather sofa was in poor condition with pieces of leather peeling off, which might appeal to antique enthusiasts but not to me – I personally didn't like it. Additionally, there was no dishwasher, and the pans were all scorched, necessitating the re-washing of plates due to leftover food scraps. Unfortunately, my stay at the Book Keeper's Cottage was far from enjoyable, and I wouldn't consider booking it again.

Very helpfull - Location was great, everything in walking distance, house was very clean, beds comfortable, nice hot water for showers and checknout at 10am was good too The only thing that happened a few times was the power turning off when we used two many items at once for example hair-dryer, curling wond and iron. It was easy to turn back on and we made sure to use one item at a time.

The owners responded to my questions straight away. The fireplace was wonderful, but a better set of fire tools would have been nice.
