- Mike (10/5): A wonderful stay - would love to visit again! - The setting and gardens were just magical. House was really comfortable and well insulated. We all had the best nights sleep! Kitchen facilities were more than we expected and very much appreciated . Instructions were clear and helpful.
Fresh produce from the chickens and gardens was a treat.
- Christine (10/5): Gorgeous cottage with relaxed country atmosphere - Everything Nothing
- Erica And Adrian (5/5): I think we should have received a discount for the evening and the day we were leaving , no power!! - Unfortunately because of a commonly occurring wind storm that apparently happens in that area, that we weren’t informed about prior , a blackout occurred and we lost , power, water , toilet facilities, internet , the only means of heat was a wood fire that was not very good because it needed electricity to pump the air around .
We were asked to put the dishwasher on before we left , but there was no power , so we hand washed everything. As we were going to a wedding on the Sunday, we hadn’t had showers etc .I do believe a generator should be installed or something to make life a tad easier . We were not only freezing but it was all hard work .
- Jarmila (10/5): Our stay was very enjoyable; we were very happy with our accommodation. - There was plenty of food in the fridge and pantry. The house and garden were a delight. The layout f the bedrooms suited our family perfectly. Hard to do because there was such a diverse selection of food in the pantry, but it would have been useful to know that there was a much food available for our use.
- Julia (9/5): - The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. We loved the veggie gardens, the chickens and the layout of the house. The host was very nice. We loved our stay. The bed and pillow in the middle room was not comfortable as they were flat/ sunken and is was a bit musty in that room. We loved everything else though!
- Jayne (10/5): Fabulous stay. - Great place to stay with a family wedding down the road. Had everything we needed, and very comfortable
- Kristen (10/5): Bliss!! - We had such a lovely stay. We were greeted upon arrival, given vouchers to the local Cafe and cidery, ate freshly laid eggs each morning on delicious local sour dough that had also be left for us to enjoy along with some delicious ciders in the afternoon.
An open pantry was also hugely appreciated, as we arrived late in the afternoon and missed the shops.
I can strongly recommend this place for a quiet family get away!
- Julie (10/5): Fantastic home. Lovely, thoughtful and accommodating hosts -
