• Lorraine (9/5): A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay set in a bush garden environment. - Lovely bright open cottage providing everything you need. The bonus was a view towards the Glasshouse Mountains. We couldn’t find a remote for the aircon. Fortunately there was another little heater provided.

• Valerie (8/5): Delightful getaway! - It was very clean, a lovely location and easy to find and enter. We will definitely return! The beds were super comfy also. It would be nice to have some more ambient lighting (lamps) in the loungeroom, just for a more cosy atmosphere.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, wonderful location and easy instructions to get the key and enjoy the stay. It didn’t have an iron, but wasn’t a big deal at the time.
• Olivia (9/5): Perfect place for a weekend away - Beautiful spot. Very clean. Very comfortable for four people. Has everything you would need. Coffee, tea and sugar supplied which was good. Would be lovely to have fly screens on all the windows. Also some of the furniture is looking a bit old and needs updating.

Self contained with kitchen and ability to cook meals. Air-conned as it was a hot hot hot weekend. Had all linen and kitcheny things you needed. Easy check-in and out. I knew there wasn't any fenced yard but I probably should have considered that more

• Ti (10/5): Such a great two-day trip! Even our dog was happy the whole time — and that’s saying something! - Only a 10-minute drive to the main street. Very convenient considering it is in the mountains. It gets pretty windy on winter nights, but there's not much anyone can do about it. Light sleepers might want to bring some earplugs.

Everything was wonderful, but we thought that these things needed to be looked at 🥰 1)They need to update the pillows 😑 2)The kitchen sink tap needs fixing the whole tap was moving 🫤 3)The toaster may need changing, and the chopping boards we bit used. The microwave needs to be a bit more powerful. 4)They need to put a row of hooks in the bathroom just like the bedrooms so you can hang your towel up. 5) The driveway needs some pepples, so the car tyres can grip as it was starting to get a bit boggy and with no inside door mat it was hard not to bring dirt into the house.

• J (6/5): Pleasant - Nice quiet location with a pleasant view Internet didn’t work, it connected to our devices but then did nothing. TV was dusty and also under lounges when reclined. Furnishings are quite dated. No hooks in bathroom to hang your towel while you’re showering. Nowhere to place clothing - no cupboards, drawers or wardrobe, no hangers for clothing - our clothes had to stay in our bags. Wall hooks in rooms had to accommodate wet towels. Quite a distance from town (8km drive) so be prepared to drive back & forth.

• Koreen (9/5): Clean, simple living with a magnificent view for a night. - We were amazed by the views on the way to White Cedar Cottage. Such a beautiful part of the world! It was clean and had all the amenities required. Being pet-friendly was perfect for us and our small cavoodle had a fun time sniffing around the gardens. A kookaburra sat on a tree branch in the front whilst cows munched on green grassy hills at the back. We had breakfast in Maleny which was lovely and it's one of the best towns across VIC, NSW, and QLD in our opinion. A great community vibe with every convenience! The house could feel more like a home. Several other places we stayed at during our trip were injected with their host's personality/style (eg. books, heritage, artworks) and the difference is a feeling of comfort/livability and wanting to stay longer from the guest's perspective.

Google took us to the house next door (Lavender cottage) it wasn't until we realised someone was already there did we realise we were in the wrong cabin. tried to contact the host with no luck. And, the stove top didn't work and we were counting on it, so improvised and cooked in the oven.
• Adam (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful location with great outlook. Virtually no fly screens on windows. Dangerous blinds above stovetop that release onto stove top.. major fire hazard. Pretty cheap and poorly functioning finishings. A pity as it has heaps of potential being where it is and shape of cottage is good.
