• Wanda (10/5): We had a fantastic stay! - The cottage was extremely clean. It had clean linen, cleaning supplies, great location and friendly neighborhood. Ocean view! Washer and dryer. Kitchen was well equipped with the necessities. Paper towels were even provided. We just had to purchase the groceries we needed. and enjoyed our stay! Can't say there wasn't much i didn't like. Maybe a small BBQ would be nice for cooking outdoors on those sunny days.

Hone made jam and bread as a welcome gift was a nice touch. Slight mistake in direction led us to drive around a bit, luckily neighbour spotted us and helped out.

• Debbie (10/5): Comfortable stay in Bonavista! - Such a lovely cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed our time spent at the cottage. It was fairly well equipped for travellers on the go. If you are tall, you may have issues with slow ceilings. But they also add character. I read later about the street light right outside the bedrooms…. If you want total darkness you are not going to find it. A roller blind or blackout curtains would definitely help. The proximity to Aunt Sarah’s chocolates was dangerous!! The light coming in from the street light.

• Bonnie (10/5): Comfortable, well located, and modern cottage. - The cottage was VERY cute - well maintained and decorated with care. There were cute homey treasures in the house in every nook and cranny. We walked to the waterfront numerous times and even saw an iceberg offshore. Loved the chairs on the front porch. Very convenient location to explore the town. We would stay here again and even thought it’d be a great cottage to stay a month! Nothing!

• Sebastian (10/5): A great place to relax - A lovely tiny house, fully equipped and with nice views to the icebergs on the sea. It’s only a 5min walke to the town center, the harbour and restaurants. Don’t miss the tiny puffins in Elliston. We definitively recommend to stay there.

• Susan (10/5): Very comfortable, homey and well located cottage. - Not a breakfast place, but we appreciated the welcome basket with local bread and jam, as well as many other conveniences for cooking our meals. Everything was very well thought out and organized. There was nothing about the cottage not to like. We only wished we could stay longer!

I wish there had been a small foldable crib for my baby but I was aware there was not when I booked so I can’t complain! Id would be a great addition since traveling with a baby in Bonavista was really a charm.

• Birgerke (10/5): Wonderful seaside experience! - We loved the whole experience of the Seakissed Cottage. Probably one of the best stays we've had. Check in was very simple and we were welcomed with fresh bread and homemade jam. Everything was available to us that we could imagine including walking sticks, umbrellas, thick towels, local soaps and easy access to everything local. We loved that it was nestled in among the locals and the cottage itself felt characteristic of the area but new in the way it was so tastefully decorated. We even loved the squeeky stairs which gave the 80 year old cottage it's character. It's the small touches that mean so much and make you want to return. Absolutely nothing!

There were lovely touches including fresh bread and jam, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The whole cottage was spotless. The beds were comfortable. The ocean view was a bonus!. One of my friends is over 6 feet tall. The low ceiling beams were a little difficult for him.
• Andrea (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed this property and everything provided and the beautiful view made my a memorable one! - Beautiful view from this lovely home and a short walk to the ocean. Each room was decorated very tastefully and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, etc. and a fresh loaf of bread served wth homemade blueberry jam. Having free laundry facilities at the home was an extra bonus! This home is close to hiking trails, historical sites and restaurants! The communication with the host was great. We liked everything about the property…. No complaints!

• Dumont (10/5): I haven’t stopped telling everyone about the cottage. - It was beautiful. I minute we walked in, we were so happy we decided to stay at Seakissed. We did so much walking and exploring. The little touches were the best. We arrived very late our first night, and the next morning I was so happy to find coffee, creamers and sugar in the cottage. I didn’t even need to leave to find my morning coffee. We slept so well! And the character of the cottage was what we were looking for. Nothing!

• René (10/5): Historic house; modernly maintained. - The house is superb and the decoration is exquisite. You feel like at home with all of the necessary amenities for a medium or long stay. The owner takes great pride in maintaining this traditional house and it shows. Perfectly located in Bonavista, you can have a nice walk in the historic city and by the ocean front. Very simple to park as well. Not much, only the rain, drizzle and fog in Bonavista! Ahahah....

That we had to leave and go back to reality lol !!! We loved everything about it .

The ceilings were a little low on the top level, but you get used to it (although people over 6 feet tall might need to walk with their head tilted to clear the ceiling upstairs). Not Applicable

• Mary (9/5): This was one of our favorite finds for value and comfort in the 2 weeks we were in Nfld. - The cottage was styled so thoroughly and tastefully it felt like you were in someone's home. The kitchen was filled with all the necessities for cooking, and we were even able to do a load of laundry before leaving Bonavista. We would have given it all five stars if the ceilings were just a bit higher in the bedroom so my 6'4"husband wouldn't hit his head everyone he stood. We loved the cottage.

• Anonymous (10/5): I would 100% recommend the property to anyone! - Lovely location! I didn’t realize when I booked it we would be getting the RE 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom cottage to ourselves! What a treat!! One of the nice evenings we sat outside and watched the whales breaching!! WOW! Only thing I could suggest and it’s very minor as it has an oven already, would be a BBQ.

Top notch in every respect. Great washer and dryer. The attention to detail in the decor was outstanding. There was a small amount of margarine and of oil, and we brought coffee pods, so we used very little of the small supply provided.

We appreciated the love and care that went into restoring this herirage saltbox and we will happily recommend it to family abd friends.
