Guest Reviews
- Donna (6/5): Great place ... Not pet friendly - The house was good value and very clean. Would highly recommend for those without pets. This place is NOT pet friendly and I wouldn't have booked knowing that your dog can only be chained up outside in a backyard that is not secure for a dog to run around in. They are not allowed inside so I can barely call it dog tolerant with only being able to be chained up the whole time. I only found out after changing my arrival time and had to within days of coming down to find someone to look after my tiny 4.5 kilo dog that wouldn't cope with being outside at night. Please remove pet friendly, in works have booked elsewhere.

- Cameron (9/5): Great little cabin for 6 people - Great kitchen and dining table. Accommodated a large group well. Beautiful deck with views of the pinnacles. Cozy fireplace.
- Kelly (8/5): -
- Nancy (9/5): - Lovely views and nice accommodation with everything we needed.
- Mary (8/5): Great house for price would stay again - Well set out comfortable very clean
- Margaret (9/5): Good comfortable venue to begin exploring the Grampians - Comfortable with good indoor and outdoor spaces for sitting and eating. Road access was not easy but had been warned by hosts and given alternative routes
- Faizan (7/5): -
- Flavio Baronti (9/5): Perfect place for a relaxing time. - The house is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature and plenty of wildlife.
The house is well equipped and has all that you need for a perfect holiday. Everything was OK.
Good value for money.
- Dee (9/5): - Love the house, location and everything. Great lounge with fire place and dinning room. There were a lot of spider webs on the ceilings. We would of liked it cleaner, otherwise everything was great
- Anne (7/5): I enjoyed the views of the Grampians and the bird life. Comfortable and convenient place to stay. - Plenty of room, nice bush surroundings, convenient location
- Bernadette (10/5): - Spacious, inside, plenty of outdoor areas also.
Chocolates and coffee machine appreciated. A little bit of milk on arrival would be nice.
Also a decent set of wine glasses.

- Paula (7/5): - Lots of space. Fireplace set on arrival. Electric blankets. Hot water bottles. Kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. Wide range of DVDs and videos to choose from. Kangaroos around the property. No clothes rack for drying wet clothes in front of fire/heater. Crockery, glasses, and cutlery were filthy. There was encrusted cheese around the first bowl we took out of the cupboard, chocolate and other smears on cutlery, and the glasses were greasy. We had to wash everything before using it. The whole kitchen and especially the utensil cupboard could do with a proper clean. The u-bend in the kitchen sink is so dirty it is off-putting and needs replacing (easy job). Neither the heater nor the fan work in the bathroom and it was freezing on our first night. The instructions for the free-standing heater were not with the main visitor booklet of instructions (for the fire and other things) but in one of the bedside table drawers. We didn't find them until the day we left and couldn't get the thing to work. Advise placing these instructions somewhere more accessible/visible. The sofa surface was grubby and we laid a blanket over the whole thing before we felt comfortable using it. We understand at this price point, this is probably a budget option for families (two double beds and 4 bunk beds) but based on the reviews and ratings, we were expecting a bit more in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
- Beverley (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): Would book it again - Peaceful, great location, good walking distance to town, spacious and comfortable beds, great views Nothing everything is what we asked for
- Sue (3/5): The lodge was old fashioned but that was part of its charm but it was just not clean - The two double beds were comfy and clean. The fire was nice. It was very dirty. It needed a thorough clean inside and out. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, obvious dust under the tv and on shelves, skirting boards, outside sofa needed a brush down, the outside table was vile. The bunk beds were really uncomfy. TV remote didn’t work.
- Anne (7/5): - Great location for exploring the Grampians. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space. Unfortunately the weather meant we did not get the opportunity to use the outside space. Some kitchenware not well cleaned by previous guests. Couldn't get the DVD player/TV to work.

- Roland (8/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would be happy to stay again. - Great handy and peaceful location with a short walk in to Halls Gap.
Beds were comfy and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were a few cobwebs inside the house and the barbecue could have been a bit cleaner I thought.
- Linda (8/5): Wish we could stay longer in the beautiful Grampians! - Great location 2 minutes from Halls Gap town centre. Grateful for electric blankets and heating in lounge area as house was cold. Although logs left for firewood, there was no kindling. Washing machine noisy but did the job.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Delvin (10/5): An excellent place for a family getaway with toddlers! - Sarah was available on call to answer any questions - from beginning to end, it was a great stay! Highly recommend this for a Grampians family getaway.

- Michael (10/5): Great weekender - Loved the fire. The huge dinner table and spacious lounge
- Colleen (10/5): Great stay. Would recommend. - Great value. Has everything you need. VERY warm- fire worked very well and we were very comfortable. One of the double beds was a bit firm for our liking- this could just be our preference. Would absolutely stay again.
- Michelle (10/5): Girls' Trip - The location and how homely Sarah and Ryan have made their cabin. Loved the heaters in the room and the facilities the cabin has to offer. The birds were amazing. We could not keep the fire going in the cabin, considering 2 of the guests have kanaras in their homes.
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay clean , fantastic amenities, and super comfy will be back loved it. Nothing
- Maureen (8/5): Relaxing -
- Lisa (7/5): Good - Location and spacious No internet connection or wifi. Not enough toilet paper or appropriate kindling for fireplace.
- Christina (8/5): Very good - It was a comfortable place to stay
- Salim (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious. Well decorated. Fire place was a bonus. Clean. Peaceful. Close to all attractions and amenities. Would definitely book it again.
- John (8/5): Very good - Found the toilet a bit small and low, was my only concern
- B. (7/5): A warm stay in a great location. - We had all of the essentials for a comfortable stay. The electric heated blankets were great, especially in the freezing cold Grampians winter. Hot water in the showers and heating in the living room were appreciated as we were frozen solid on arrival. The bedside wireless chargers were a nice touch, as were the extra blankets. The fridge was spacious enough to hold all of our food, and there were some really great pans in the kitchen too. It was great to have some kindling to try starting a fire. The location was very convenient - a short drive or long walk from the general store/town centre. The hikes we went to were all within an hour's drive. Sarah and Ryan communicated great with us so we knew where everything was. Also, the hairdryer was fantastic 10/10. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel when paying $50 a night, however, the level of cleanliness bothered me a bit. The floors had not been thoroughly cleaned as I found leaves, candy wrappers, puzzle pieces etc. on the floor - some underneath furniture, and some in plain sight. The dining table and kitchen bench were sticky. The worst was the milk frother that had an awful stench until we cleaned it. Cleaning supplies were provided so all of this was easily fixed, but made me distrust the rest of the surfaces. Also, small conveniences like cooking oil would have been appreciated.
- Lucy (9/5): Wonderful stay for great price. Perfect for groups. Lovely location and very comfortable. - Very well looked after, super clean, great price, great location, perfectly comfortable Heating was uneven but not much of an issue
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Well equipped for cooking, beds were comfy with electric blankets.
- Janine (7/5): Rustic bush charm - Beautiful position, great open fire. It was chilly and the house was cold except in front of the fire or the heater.
- Lily (10/5): Perfect little spot to stay in halls gap. Highly recommend - It was so nice and cozy, I stayed with a group of 7 and we all wanted to stay longer! Pictures don’t do it justice on the inside
- Katrina (9/5): Superb -
- Abdullah (8/5): Too short, would love to get back to stay here. - Location and wilderness Heating arrangements.
- Gursharan (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (9/5): Good place, good location and would book again. - Nice large well appointed property with everything that you needed at your fingertips. The house was clean but it needs a thorough clean especially under the beds , behind the furniture and the fridge.
- Janelle (10/5): Great location, clean and comfortable. Nothing negative at all it was great -
- Michael (8/5): Loved the place, we will be back - Very comfy, had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor fire and all the wildlife. There were a few dirty dishes in the cupboard and the bbq could use some love

- Anonymous (10/5): We had so much fun - Everything, we were very comfortable
- Eranga (8/5): Great location, spacious - Great location, plenty of room, BBQ, inside fireplace and clean. Would have loved heating to rooms.
- Caitlin (9/5): Perfect for a small group to have a nice holiday. - Was great outdoor area for socialising. Was all great.
- Dianne (9/5): Very adequate for our situation. We enjoyed our stay at Huntinaddi Lodge. - The location was great with the chorus of birds to wake us. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room in the Lodge for moving around & not being in the way. Close to the town and places of interest. Suited us very well. I don't think we had a lot to complain about....maybe only that the fire 🔥 was very hard to start and keep going. It needed more smaller pieces of wood to keep it going. The pieces were too big and solid.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Tamsyn (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (3/5): Enjoyed but disappointed in house - Location was great I feel the cleaner is not up to standard as the place wasn’t clean we had to clean a lot of things we had to clean before use
- Sheri (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean and cosy We had no complaints it was all good
- Chaisit (8/5): Very good -
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (8/5): Very good - had ever thing we needed the lighting could be improved
- Anonymous (7/5): A cozy lodge perfect for a small getaway exploring nature. - Very quaint and cute. Located very close to town centre. Everything was tidy and reasonably well maintained. The porch light was great as we arrived at night and it made moving things into the lodge very easy. The lockbox made late check-in very easy and the heater worked very quickly. Flickering light in dining area and low water pressure.
- Joanne (10/5): a lovely place to stay. - cosy and comfortable
- Josias (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning spot, quiet, neat and clean with everything you need to enjoy a few days of peace. Kids really enjoyed the wildlife.
Ill definitely book again on my next visit to the Grampians. Good value for money. Im 1,92m tall so the bed were a bit short as it has a bottom piece that prevented my legs from hanging over, but i guess that's on me..Hahaha
- Ksenija (9/5): Great location, 5 minutes walk to Brambuk National park, lots of emus and kangaroos -
- Nicole (9/5): Great place to be based for a hiking weekend away. - Quiet location with plenty of room for a group of friends to have a relaxing weekend away.
- Gulrez (9/5): Great place to spend a few quite days in the lap of nature - Nice cosy house, clean and well kept. Very friendly and accomodating hosts
- Elizabeth (6/5): Pleasant -
