• hayley (10/5): Beautiful relaxing stay - Loved the view of the beach and hearing the waves in the house! Pool and outdoor bath was amazing. Loved the small touches also, such as hot chocs at night, the record player was a vibe! Had everything we needed. Also amazing as it had a washing machine which definitly helps halfway through the holiday. It was all pretty great, we would have loved to be able to start the fire place, but there is times of the year you are unable and unfortunately we stayed during this time.

Although I had to clean the bath before using Didnt like the fact that I asked for late checkout weeks before our arrival date and was told no. And the fact that nothing had been cleaned/maintained before our stay. Cobb webbs/ spiders all around the outdoor facilities. All the glass panels around the pool and out door area were absolutely filthy and affected the view bwcsuse its all you could see.Old bird poo in the bath. Days old. Bushes overgrown the front steps. For the price I was not happy at all. Was for our anniversary and didn't meet the expectations that the website showed.
• Wee Chiang (8/5): - Great views. Good decor. Wifi pw only given one day after we checked in. Booked the whole house but saw notice in one room that our booking didn't include the small room. Should have stared clearly in website. Might have consider other options.
• Liza (8/5): Peaceful and excellent views - Fabulous place and positioning, house had almost everything you needed, pool was so warm and really peaceful. Would definitely come back if the owner fix the windows. You really need to get some window tinting done. The lounge and main bedroom are way too bright until around 8:30-9pm at night and it’s impossible to sleep until after this time. Some bedroom fans would also help when it’s warmer as the house got really hot and the air con was only good in the lounge room. Also it needs to be noted on bookings that the fireplace is apparently only usable may-September which was disappointing when this was one of the main reasons we booked the place and there was no mention of it until we got to house.

• Christine (9/5): Gorgeous little beach stay - The location was gorgeous. The accommodation was very pretty. The bedroom was a little bright in the morning as there were no blinds at the top of the windows. The windows near the front door have no blinds on them, and two other houses look onto that side of the property - a minor inconvenience.

Loved it - I loved this property it was stylish comfortable great views everything was perfect The booking real estate wasn’t great with any later check out, I was going to rebook in September as the property is Devine but it’s a shame to booking agent is not friendly or personable at all The booking agent

• Tayn (4/5): Great location disappointed in how it was presented to us - The location was nice I didn’t like the fact there was a dead bird with maggots in it in the pool when we arrived none of the outside area had been cleaned prior to our arrival there was even a necklace from the previous people that had rust on it due to being there for a while and the only reason I booked it was because of the pool, inside had a hat left under the couch from previous so whoever cleans it does a very poor job,

• Harvey (7/5): A very short stay in an atmospheric apartment with one bathroom plus an ensuite toilet. - This property does not overlook the famous Hazards but has a pleasant view over Coles Bay. Decor good with a beach influence. Comfortable beds and well equipped overall. For the second time this year we have booked via booking.com a two bedroom two bathroom apartment which in reality has one full bathroom only plus a separate toilet- very annoying when one expects two full bathrooms.

• Rachel (10/5): Stunning views, luxurious stay, everything was beautiful - Our stay at black+shack was incredible. The property is really well thought out, luxurious, incredible facilities and very thoughtful touches that made our stay so special. The linen sheets and mattress topper on the bed were divine, it was like sleeping in a cloud. We loved the outdoor bath, the fireplace and the views are just incredible. Very responsive support team when we couldn't work out how to use some of the facilities. Clearer instructions for the induction cooktop and bbq would have been the only thing we would have changed. Very small thing, everything else was amazing.
• Sarah (10/5): Relaxing vibes with all the luxury of a 5 star hotel in a magic location - The house & location were excellent. Such a relaxing vibe and the houses facilities were great! The heated pool, outdoor bath, interior aesthetic, cosy fireplace & comfortable beds and couches were a great combination for much needed R&R. The walk to the beach and watching the sunsets each day was truly magic!

The host is responsive and sweat - red wine and chocolate were offered complimentary. Kitchen is great too so you don’t need to worry about meals. However you will need to drive 10-15mins for grocery store. No air conditioning in bedrooms so you may need to keep the doors open. Others are perfect.
• Tayler (8/5): Beautiful & One Of A Kind - The furnishings are beautiful and unique! I couldn’t get out of the handing chair! Super cosy with plenty to do inside aswell as many different little nooks to relax. The house is super luxurious The photos give you a feel and idea that there’s not other houses around you but there is. There is 3 super close by as-well as one looking straight into the bedroom at the back so we kept the blinds down. Also blinds near the front door would be a great improvement for privacy
• Anonymous (5/5): we were staying at this accomodation for our honeymoon. for something that looked incredible from the pictures and a rea - it was a true representation from the photos of what the property was like. enjoyed the robes and the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath salts were all plentiful and a delicious smell pillow menu was a great addition broken chair in dining room blown light globe in bathroom did not receive code for door prior to check in and had to call at 3.10 after aimlessly driving around to ask for code ordered a bbq hamper which was to include Asparagus- however this was not provided but there was not a substitute either one of the Pots in kitchen is not comparable with indiction hot plate Dirty wine glasses and this happened to be the first wine glass we pulled out of cupboard
