• Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a great time staying at Bears Paw 5! The check-in was simple, the unit was clean, and the location was awesome! It was just a short walk to the village, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. When we were checking out, they had someone come and service the hot tub, which is always nice to know they make sure it's clean for the next guests. We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again. It was also really nice that there was a garage for us to park our vehicle in and to leave our snowboards, so we didn't have to drag anything wet inside.
• Kellie (8/5): Fantastic! Hope to be back. - The unit was right off Hummingbird trail so ski in and out was easy and it was a short stroll to the village. The unit had everything we needed and was the perfect size for our family of 5. All the beds were very comfortable and it was very clean. Loved the spa on the deck at the end of each day. Nothing we didn’t like about the unit. The local Vacasa (property managers) staff were fabulous but some of the online staff were not as helpful. Checkin was at 4pm however I contacted them to say our bus from Vancouver was arriving at 2:30 and could we possibly checkin early. We were not allowed too and were told we had to stand outside at the front door in sub zero temperatures for an hour and a half with 3 kids and luggage until the clock chimed 4. Could have understood if there were still cleaning or if we drove ourselves and could have ensured we arrived at 4 but on a bus we had no control. Poor customer service. The spa stopped working on the last full day too and when I contacted the managers the online staff told me there was no spa at our unit and therefore we couldn’t use it. Very strange given that it’s literally on the photo of the listing. That conversation unfortunately left a bad note on our trip. Once again though the local staff we saw the next morning were fantastic.
