- Ian (9/5): - Cosy and good vibes. Great enclosed yard for our dog. We had a problem with a global power outage but the hosts were responsive with suggestions for dinner and directions to torches.
- Janelle (9/5): Peaceful and relaxing few days - Location beautiful , very quiet , lovely yard for dogs and deck to sit . Lay out of house very pleasant. Key container when arriving to get keys out - very difficult to use .
- Rebecca (7/5): Great place, lovely location and had everything we needed. - The layout was perfect for our family - 4 adults. The heating which was absolutely necessary, was brilliant. Our little dog did manage to fit under the fence. But that’s because he’s small and cheeky. He stayed inside while we went out which worked well and he behaved.

- Coralie (9/5): Lovely, spacious, snug, quiet, well equipped cottage - Lovely quiet location. House was clean, well equipped, spacious and bed was huge and very comfy. Loved the fully fenced garden and that it was dog friendly. Loved watching the butterflies in the buddleia from the comfort of the sofa! Only suggestion would be that a fly screen on the back door would be nice, especially in summer.
- Emily (8/5): Great place to stay for a weekend in the Highlands - Cute spacious but cosy house in Burrawang. Had everything we needed for our weekend away, Belinda the host was lovely and let us have a late check out on Sunday. We couldn’t really use the outdoor furniture as it was quite dirty and covered in spider webs.
- Allan (6/5): Pleasant - Our dog liked coming with us. The property needs a good spring clean - especially spider webs
- Lyn (10/5): A great getaway location with all the home creature comforts. - This secluded gem was perfect for our time in this beautiful region.
The home had all we needed and was a lovely, homely getaway for us.
- Annie (8/5): Very good -
- Rebekah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Jenny (8/5): Had a wonderful relaxing time. Would definitely come again. - bedrooms were comfortable, clean and stylish. Kitchen and dishwasher were a pleasure to use. We loved the different sitting areas that let us take advantage of the sunshine during the day and loved the fireplace at night. I would recommend renovating the bathroom next - just some simple changes like replacing the shower curtain with a screen would make a big difference.
- Suriya (10/5): The kids asked if we could come back! - Pet friendly.
- Narelle (7/5): Good - Loved the wood fire place. Great amount of firewood available. Close to town and, within 30 mins other towns. Air cons in all rooms and electric blankets on all beds. Dog friendly and fully fenced yard. Sufficient space in the house. Loved the sky lights. More overhead lights in the kitchen would have been good. A couple more basic items like sponges and paper towels would have been helpful.
- Daina (7/5): Cosy home away from home in the Southern Highlands - Belinda was very prompt with responses and extremely easy to communicate with. She kindly offered an earlier check in and later check out to assist us when arriving and departing. Beds were nice and firm and had quality linens. Area was quiet and homey with gorgeous birds in the backyard trees. The house was very cold upon arrival but once we got the heating and log fire going it warmed up nicely.
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Louis (9/5): Lovely cottage in Burrawang, beautiful local walks and close to the Burrawang Pub. - This cottage is in a great location, the garden is lovely and walking around the area and visiting the Burrawang pub was great. Unfortunately the weather was not good with very heavy rain and as it was cold we needed to use the fire. There wasn't enough kindlng provided for the fireplace and the logs available were too large to chop outdoors in the rain. As we were three women, wielding a heavy axe in wet, slippery conditions was impossible. More kindling and split logs would have helped.
- Peter (10/5): A cosy country cottage with everything your hearts desires - A home away from home. Thought I was back in my favourite county cottage in Ireland Nothing it was perfect
- Natasha (10/5): Cozy, comfortable and perfect location! - Location was perfect for our group event. It fitted us all in and the beds were super comfy! Nothing - it was great!
- Jane (9/5): Perfect getaway for small family or couple - The well stocked pantry was really appreciated. It was super quiet. The living space was nice and cosy. The deck was great, and the garden was tranquil. And the pub was around the corner! Sorry, I can't think of anything
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (9/5): A delightful pet friendly spot for a relaxing weekend. - Loved the ambiance & space, bench space in kitchen, enclosed back yard for the dog & sleeping available for 8 ( 3 king size beds and queen sofa bed). Quality furnishings, comfy furniture. Very quiet. The house is well set up for cold weather. Unfortunately it rained++ whilst we visited so a dryer would have been handy. Also more then one fan would be nice for warm weather as the house was quite stuffy and warm when we arrived.(air con did not quite reach the furthest bedrooms)
- Sarah (9/5): Beautiful Burrawang stay - What an unexpected find! Burrawang is the new Bowral! A cosy little cottage perfect for a relaxing weekend with my family. Spacious lounge area with lots of place to relax and watch tv or read a book, and a fireplace. Beautiful gardens outside. A great collection of board games and books to keep you busy. We will be back!
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional - Great space, perfect kitchen and amenities. Even speakers on the property which is a great touch Maybe a bigger TV but not a big deal
- Emma (10/5): A really lovely family getaway - We loved how open plan the living areas are. The location was superb, and the garden was gorgeous! The games, books, and puzzles kept us entertained on rainy days. It would have been good to have a second toilet and larger fridge. A welcome pack with brochures, recommendations, and housekeeping would have been really useful, too.
- Liz (8/5): Property had a rustic homey feel - like it was a well loved family holiday destination. - Good detailed instructions from the owner and she was flexible with arrival times which was great.
Had a fire one night which was lovely and lots of firewood available.
Property had a rustic homey feel - like it was a well loved family holiday destination.
- Ruth (8/5): A great little country getaway - Very comfortable with lots of sunny places to sit despite cold weather. Fire place improved the ambience and lots of firewood provided. Our cavoodle loved the back yard which was fenced off which was great. Easy location to walk to pub and coffee shop and fabulous views of countryside on the way.
- Gerard (7/5): Good -
- Vivian (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely home to stay in. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire. The home was well set out and comfortable.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bill (8/5): Comfortable weekender, the sort of place we can happily relax in. -
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrie (7/5): Good - Beds were comfortable. Spacious and light.
Lovely yard. Plenty of kitchen equipment Full of cobwebs and spiders had to be killed before getting into bed. Even had to clear cobwebs off lock box and cobwebs all over was first thing noticed when drove in. Couches were broken and couldn't sit on it . Had to clean cobwebs off chairs outside to sit outside.
As it was hot it needed more fans for bedrooms.
- Mandy (7/5): Nice location and house is a good size for a family to stay. - The location of Burrawang is nice; the deck and backyard area have lovely large trees and is a great place for dining and resting when not raining. The off street parking was very convenient. Checking in and out was easy and communication with the hosts was fast. The kitchen was a full kitchen with oven, grill, nespresso machine etc and some nice pantry staples. The internet was quite fast. The weekend I was there was very hot but the aircon was only in the lounge area. The rooms were stuffy and hot at night so some fans would have been nice. The house is nice and charming but needs a good airing out to remove the old house smell.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (4/5): Filthy. - The accommodation has a lot of potential. Quiet area. Plenty of heating for the cold weather. I don't mind places that are not modern however there is no excuse for the absolutely filthy state of this house. It was by far the grottiest place I have ever stayed. Musty smell, cobwebs and dead insects everywhere, someone's fingernail clippings on the windowsill, black built up filth on the lounge chairs, floors not clean - kids feet were black within an hour of arrival, the sugar canister was full of grot. The toilet wasn't clean and didn't even have a toilet seat that fit. We were in the area for a large function and other accommodation was booked out otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. Tried to iron our clothes for the event but the iron barely worked and all the settings on the dial had faded off and were not visible. The ironing board was covered in stains, had no padding and the elastic had deteriorated and left flakes on all our clothing.
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (8/5): Cozy cottage and lovely deck perfect to share a leisurely breakfast and lunch in the sunshine. - Location os ideal, a couple of streets back from the Main Street of Burrawang within easy walking distance
- Alison (8/5): Cosy 3 bedroom house close to town - We liked the roominess of the lounge area, and that the air-conditioner kept the lounge, kitchen and dining area cozy. The closeness to Robertson was good (approx 10 min drive), as we had family to visit there. The beds had electric blankets and were comfortable, and each bedroom had room heaters that warmed our room sufficiently for us to get ready for bed. The main bedroom was very roomy, and had a lounge and small round table and chairs in there also. When there was an issue, the host got onto it immediately and the problem was dealt with. The bathroom has been renovated and is quite lovely. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace, but it did not have a seal and was impossible to keep alight (and got too smokey). In my opinion, the kitchen could have a minor renovation to improve the standard of the house, as this lets the quality of the house down. The kitchen laminated bench for instance is old and has been partly painted, and this paint is peeling. New doorknobs and a new benchtop would improve this standard a lot, and would be easier to clean.
