- Sandra (8/5): Great spot to come tigether - Location, shared deck area, homey touches, comfy beds. Squealing shower.
- Jo Paton (8/5): Comfortable. - There was no breakfast? Was disappointed there was no laundry facilities but otherwise very happy.
- Sandrine (10/5): - Ideally located, close to the center. The cherry on the top is to watch kangaroos and lovely birds from the window ! Everything is brand new and decorated with taste, you just feel like home ! Thank you !
- Adam (7/5): Very nice thanks - Quiet and locations Property needs a little tlc outside and toilet sliding door
- Channa Hatharasinghe (10/5): Great location - The two units were great and they were exactly as described in the photos. The location although close to the town was peaceful with great view of the Pinnacles There were lots of kangaroos, emus and birds close to the property. The kitchen had a great selection of utensils and all required for preparing any meal.

- Trisha (10/5): Loved our stay here - highly recommended! - Great size house in a really good location - super close to walk to everything in the Main Street. 3 really good sized bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and easy parking onsite. Would definitely stay again! Nothing
- Drew (9/5): Very good -
- Renee (10/5): Perfect one night getaway, spacious and practical layout for large families & groups. - Lovely location, walkable to everything we needed. Convenient layout and surprisingly large inside. We had a perfect stay. Nothing, we enjoyed everything.
- Caitlin (5/5): - The location was great. The size of the accommodations was also great. The place was dusty, cluttered, unclean and very outdated. I felt the individual washing products in the bathroom were used - possibly refilled. The pillows and bedding all felt dusty and unclean.
- Cheryl (9/5): Great location for kangaroo sightings. - Location was amazing. Well equipped unit. Everything was as we expected.
- Jennifer (10/5): Halls Gap hidden gem - The location was perfect for our needs. The views surrounding us were magnificent along with the birdlife and kangaroos. The house suited our accommodation needs and the bonus was the lovely hot showers.
- Ebony (10/5): - Everything was amazing No washing machine
- Glenn (10/5): - I.enjoy the place has lots around have lots of fopd and wine and the stay was comfortable and quiet amd relaxing
- Nicole (9/5): - Very roomy and no clutter. Great location. Unfortunately the pizzeria next door was closed. We were so excited about it.
But very beautiful cottage and comfortable beds Very little shampoo available.

- Garry (8/5): -
- Susan (8/5): The Peaks Halls Gap. - Location was great. Right at the end of the main street through Halls Gap. Very comfortable. Not a dislike but advice. The sign on the cottage said "The Vines" not "The Peaks" so it was slightly misleading until we realised it had to be the place. We tried to ring the host but didn't get a callback but sorted the issue ourself.
- Anne (8/5): - L'emplacement au milieu des kangourous et des eucalyptus est très dépaysant. Les balades sont magnifiques L'autre hébergement est un peu proche, c'est dommage il y a quand même de l'espace.
- Jain (9/5): -
- Kate (8/5): - Loved the location
- Kevin (8/5): - Die lage und der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angehen. Das gesamte Haus war schon etwas Älter .. Auch die Ausstattung in gewissen Räumen
- Jennie (6/5): -
- Marita (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - Cosy decorations and interior. Great location - walking distance to shops and playground with stunning view of the mountain. Friendly staff and easy instructions on how to access. No concerns at all.
- Akeel (8/5): - everting
- David (9/5): Fabulous location and great value stay in Halls Gap. - The location of this property is absolutely perfect being only a minutes walk from the High street.
It is spacious with 3 bedrooms and a decent size bathroom and lounge. Plenty of parking right outside as well which is convenient.
The grassland across from the house was full of Kangaroos each evening which was fun to watch.
Overall, great value and would definitely stay again if passing through. Just a couple of maintenance issues for information. The fan in the main bathroom bangs loudly so is unusable. The main shower makes a horrible screetch noise depending upon the settings which made it unpleasant to use.
- Meghan (10/5): - Location was great and accomodation was very clean.
- Adele (10/5): Amazing cabin in central Halls Gap - we’ll be back! - Amazing location in town but with beautiful views of neighbouring land and wildlife. Extremely well fitted out. Would 100% stay again. We were concerned that it would be hot given the high temps over the weekend we stayed, but the air con held up well. My only suggestion would be to have a few oscillating fans for hot weather so we don’t have to run air con over night and with doors open etc
- Mary Empress (9/5): - Location is great and house is clean!
- Tamara (10/5): (fam of 6) wonderful place to stay, inside and out we felt right at home comfortable and clean - excellent location, right behind pizza and wine shops, great views- nothing more amazing than to wake up and be surrounded by mountains and kangaroos. Wil def recommend to anyone travelling that way bathrooms have no locks- but that seems to be the norm- still a great place to stay- no ceiling fans in rooms- need flyscreens on all windows- we wanted to air out the house but couldn't
- Julie (8/5): Excellent location and very comfortable accommodation. - Location, cleanliness, wide range of kitchen appliances, complimentary toiletries and tea, coffee etc Loved the property and it was spotlessly clean; my only feedback would be that the main bathroom door didn’t slide very easily and a lock would be helpful.
- Yali (8/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Lauren (10/5): This was a comfortable place for a group. - We found the location to be excellent. It was very comfortable for four people and we felt that the house was well supplied. It was great to have electric blankets and comfortable living space.
- Holly (7/5): Overall very happy with the accomodation and will use in the future. - This property was in a great location, walking distance to the Main Street and have beautiful views of many kangaroos, kookaburras and we met the owner who was very lovely, welcoming and doing work around the property The chairs at our kitchen table were very fragile and some were even broken. We understand that the owner has just taken over and doing maintenance on the property and we can’t wait to come back again.
- Margot (9/5): - Very convenient location to main street, kangaroos aplenty in opposite paddock No ceiling fans in bedrooms
- chew (9/5): Great location - The location was great. Close to food . Bed has heating facilities The other door has cob webs and insect due to long time of no usage. Common toilet door had to close.
- Fletcher (9/5): - I should have taken my own pillow, but otherwise I loved it.
- Rajiv (9/5): -
- Navdeep singh (8/5): -
- Hogg (10/5): -
- Leah11 (7/5): -
- krishna (10/5): -
- Xinlu (10/5): Clean and Tidy. Big room. Everything is in new condition. -
- Gazi (8/5): -
- Ellen (10/5): Peaceful, clean, close to centre - Close to town, facilities clean, two bathrooms, comfy beds, air-conditioner, beautiful outlook in balcony to cockatoos and kangaroos. Outdoor table needed cleaning but this is to be expected for the surroundings.
- JIAHUEI (9/5): 門口就可以看到袋鼠,廚房用具非常齊全,很適合喜歡大自然的家庭入住。 -
- Johanna (7/5): We had a lovely stay. The location is fantastic with beautiful views and all the amenities within walking distance. The - Superb location, luxurious bathrooms, very comfy beds. Cooker didn’t work.
- Shoned (10/5): Amazing stay! - Great location, clean, comfortable
- Natalie (10/5): - Really great location, very clean , had everything you needed Beds a little hard, wifi was very slow
- sheila (9/5): -
- Shikha (10/5): -
- Sally (9/5): -
- Karina (10/5): Scenic, close to shops and comfy! - Very close to the middle of hallsgap, didn’t realise how close it was! Also it was a lot bigger than what I expected. Absolutely loved the cabin, it felt very homely and the scenery was beautiful. I couldn’t find any faults at all.
- Julia (10/5): - Location location it was really great because we were close to everything we didn't have to get in the car again and the weather even though it was cold and wet didn't stop the fun it was wonderful The fact that it had to end
- Lisa (5/5): - great location we bought our own food to cook for three nights but the oven did not work so our food was wasted
I am disappointed with the owner as I did mention to him about compensation for the oven not working but he did not acknowledge my request.
- Andrea (9/5): - Location
- szu-chun (10/5): Although it’s close to the main street, it’s very quiet at night. There’s an open field right across the accommodation, - Great location — just a short walk to the main street.
- Fabiola (10/5): Great Stay and Location. - Fantastic stay. Close to everything. Comfortable beds. Very clean. WiFi didn't connect well and couldn't connect Netflix on main TV. Minor issue. Kids got to see what it was like to watch "regular" TV.
- Liesl (10/5): - Walking distance to the main street. Comfy beds.
Kangaroos right outside
- Glenda (8/5): Very comfortable. Quite roomy. - Property was very modern with quality fittings and ample linen, towels, face washers etc. The oven requires new seals. It did not heat up very well. It would be a better description of address as units at back of Heath Street with access to units from Valley Drive.
- Louise (10/5): -
- Katelin (10/5): -
- martina (8/5): Good value and convenient - It was plenty big enough and very conveniently located just behind the shops. Beds are comfy and showers are .great. A dishwasher would have been nice. Also a washing machine would be handy if a young family were staying.
- Raiquen (9/5): -
- Julian (10/5): - Great location close to everything in a short walk - shops and walking trails. Very clean and well presented property throughout perfect for a family, a group of couples to stay. Had a great weekend away. Nothing, everything was great
- dc2824 (8/5): perfect location, value for money. - The location was perfect with access to everything.
- Jacinta (10/5): Perfectly lovely - location, views, comfort, and great value! - We really enjoyed the convenient central location, and the beautiful view onto the reserve where we watched the kangaroos, emus, and many birds. We could hear a glorious chorus of frogs in the evenings, and bird calls throughout the day. The shower head made a terrible screaming noise when it was being used.
- Higgins (8/5): -
- Kerr (10/5): Halls Gap never disappoints - We all liked the fact that we were so close to the shops and restaurants and even the wildlife as the paddock over the road was full of kangaroos emus and ducks just loved it. Nothing comes to mind apart from running out of toilet roll but that was a minor issue
- lyn (7/5): the place was warm, clean and comfortable, great location - Breakfast wasn't part of the arrangement.
The tea and coffee could have been improved. Pleased to hear the new owner is replacing the table chairs, two of them were wobbly.
- Pamela (7/5): -
- Helen (8/5): - The location is fantastic. The dining chairs are in poor condition.
- Tracy (8/5): - Location was perfect access to everything
Great accomodation & great value
Excellent host communication Nothing we didn't like
- Raymond (8/5): We really enjoyed our two day stay and would definitely come again. - Great location - short walk to restaurant, brewery, supermarket and cafes.
Brilliant view of kangaroos across the road. Cracked toilet seat was uncomfortable - this needs to be replaced.
Main bathroom fan very rattly.
There was a broom to sweep the floor but no dustpan.
A roll of paper towel in the kitchen would be a useful addition.
- Hollis (10/5): -
- Greg (9/5): Comfortable, central accommodation. - Great location, very comfortable and very, very clean. We were there on 2 very cold nights and while there was heating in the living area the bedrooms, despite the electric blankets, were very cold. Some bedroom heating would’ve been welcome.
- Julie (3/5): - The location of this accommodation was fantastic, and the bed was clean and very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, there were several maintenance and cleanliness issues that let the stay down. The cold tap in the ensuite vanity didn’t work, and the main bedroom lights flickered so much they couldn’t be used. The kitchen sink tap had extremely strong water pressure, which made a mess whenever it was turned on.
Cleanliness was also an issue — the BBQ was left dirty and rusty, glasses in the cupboard had lipstick stains, and the property overall didn’t feel freshly cleaned. There were only 1½ toilet rolls provided for a 2-night stay, both toilet seats were cracked, and the outdoor furniture was broken.
With its great location and comfortable bed, this place has potential, but it definitely needs better cleaning standards, proper maintenance, and more attention to guest comfort.
- I-chun (9/5): -
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Nienyi (10/5): Great choice for staying in Halls Gap - Great location. Competitive pricing. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Surrounded by kangaroos and various birds. Everything is good. If really want to be picky, it’s better to have a wash-let especially in winter.
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Parsons (5/5): Great location for oyr winter exploration - Bedrooms heating bathrooms and view of the moutain No instructions for things like tv, very noisy showers, Old blankets very powerful yao in kitchen , rusty toulolet roll holders
- Gareth (9/5): Loved our time here. Big enough for a family of 5 and really close to the main street - Location was perfect! So close to everything on the main street but quiet enough to feel private. The showers were both very noisy when turned on with a high-pitched noise. Not sure why?
- Ethan (7/5): Good -
- Luigi (5/5): Passable -
- Tamsyn (8/5): Very good -
- Elena (8/5): Very good - The dishes and kitchen utensils need to be replaced, especially the frying pans, pots, etc. they were in very poor condition and not enough for four people.
- Thaduri (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (8/5): Great long weekend stay with family in Halls Gap! Very cosy and warm and extremely close to town and all the nearby attr - Great location. Lovely big bathrooms. Comfy beds. Nice and spacious. Needed a bit more privacy, or even better window coverings during the day. Would be great to have a dishwasher. Outside deck area looking a little worse for wear and run down which doesn’t reflect how nice the inside is and the coziness of the unit!
- Jason (8/5): Property owner was very helpful even though he was on holidays himself. - Perfect location.
1 minute walk to Main Street. Just needs a thorough deep clean
- Penny (6/5): Will certainly recommend this place to others - Convenient and close to the town 1) The blanket is not in good size.
2) The utensil is not clean (we believe it is from previous tenant.)
3) Table and knife kits are dusty
- Darren (8/5): Very good - Location was absolutely fantastic. Walk to all restaurants and cafes in town. Lots of Kangaroos and other wildlife directly outside the house
- Chester (8/5): Very good -
- Dale (9/5): Superb -
- Kondala (8/5): Very good -
- Oliva (10/5): Spacious and clean accommodation right in the heart of Halls Gap with roos knocking at the door. Would not hesitate to s - Excellent location, great view, spacious and clean. Unlabelled bath product (was it shampoo or body wash or both)
