Generally, Fisherman's Rest was able to fulfil the needs of a big family away on holiday. It felt like a home away from home. We will consider returning for our next visit down south in Albany.

The house was exactly what we needed for our little family getaway ❤️ We've experienced great loss this last year and needed something to help heal our broken hearts 💕 Fisherman's Rest filled our cups so full to the brim!! The beds were super comfy The lounge was made for a lazy day of movie watching The kitchen had everything we needed And the best part was the enclosed patio... Hours spent playing uno, rummykub and laughing till tears came out... Thanks for having us xx
• Alison (10/5): Perfect place for multi-generational family holidays in a quiet location. - We loved that four generations could stay together in cosy comfort - the home was equipped not only to support my frail aged mother with rails in shower and toilet but also with outdoor spaces, games and toys to keep my grandchildren aged 6 - 11 happy and occupied. We enjoyed a fantastic multi-generational long weekend together despite the stormy winter weather. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook for a family. We also loved the proximity to Emu Point Cafe for walking between showers for coffee (the kitchen equipment includes a coffee machine, so cafe visits optional!) and also Dune Brewery, just around the corner. The attention to detail demonstrated by host Sandy ensured a relaxed and happy stay for the whole family. The weather was the only downside - but we are frequent visitors to Albany so know we know that Albany knows how to turn on a storm and always come prepared with rain gear and warm clothing. The wind can be very cold in any season.

• Christine (8/5): A great house for multi generations or two families to spread out and relax . - Comfy beds and comfy lounges. Great outdoor room. TVs and air cons in all the bedrooms! Location to Emu Point is fabulous. Two small sets of stairs in the kids/family room for the toddler- needed to keep after her all the time. One shower has a nice hand held shower but the other has old fashioned fixed shower head I couldn’t reach.

The kids had an amazing time and enjoyed every moment. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, which made it feel warm and welcoming. • Mark (10/5): Overall a great accomodation. Great place if you don’t mind being 10 mins driving distance from the town center. - Spacious. Kids love the bunk beds. Also nice sheltered outdoor area with heater. No en-suite toilets in any of the rooms.

It was such a great size with multiple living areas, and the outside alfresco with the cafe blinds was fantastic. The natural light and air conditioning in each room just made it all the more comfortable. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back! Wish we had stayed longer
• Lady (10/5): Fantastic - Everything in the house. Rooms/beds, kitchen, bathroom, toilets. The house is very cozy and convenient. Very comfortable and very at home. 😊 Maybe just one of the room with bunk beds. The sliding door have a tiny space which you can see the outside. But other than everything were great.
