- Jessica (10/5): Great location. Easy to get to andermatt and gemstock gondolas by the free bus 421. - Host gave us tips about the local bus and maps to get around. Check in and out would be better if there was a lockbox. Although host was very gracious to bring us keys, it’s an added stress that would be easier with a lockbox.

- Klasine Jacoba (9/5): Heel fijn huis - Leuk huis, vriendelijk ontvangen De slaapkamers hebben goede bedden. Boven is alles ruim, en konden wij gemakkelijk ons Kinderbedje nog extra bij kwijt. In de keuken is alles aanwezig. Treinstation en skiliften op loopafstand, ook een bus 100m vanaf huis. In de douche voldoende handdoeken. In de kelder en sauna met douche, hier ook genoeg handdoeken. In de kelder ook een wasmachine en droogrek aanwezig en een ruimte waar je de skies en schoenen makkelijk kunt opbergen -

- Chris (10/5): Hope to go back next year, awesome experience! - Location is absolutely perfect, right on the edge of town close to the Gemmstock lift and near all the restaurants and shopping down the main drag. There is a free ski shuttle runs close by, there is little to no parking around town so highly suggest not renting a vehicle and just use public transit. The train station is about 3/8 of a mile down the road and even with luggage wasn’t too far away. The town is deceivingly small, it appears big on a map but the houses are tight together and hotels are the size of large houses with restaurants on the first floor. Town is super quiet at night and most shops close by 5:30pm. This house has everything you need. By US standards it lacks a clothes washer/dryer, the freezer is just larger than what you’d find in a dorm fridge and you’re not going to have ice unless you make it one baby-sized tray at a time. The beds are all twins and you’re not going to slide them together for a King size bed unless you have some better engineering skills than we had. Owner was super nice and meets you at the door when you arrive, try using WhatsApp to make local calls if needed. WiFi worked great at the house, in town it was hit or miss depending on the location. You’ll need to bring your own Swiss outlet adapters…buy on Amazon for a few bucks a piece-

- Karen (10/5): Wonderful house, great location - The location of the house was great, walking distance to the ski lift and shops. The full kitchen was great as we cooked most days for dinner after skiing. The sauna was fantastic and the ski room even had a boot drying rack. We were a family of 4 which included a 17 and 19 year old and this house was well equipped. Good diningroom table for playing cards as well. There were no TV channels in English and there was no microwave. These were not deal breakers for us and very minor but in case anyone wants to know.

Everything in town, including the train station, ski lifts, - Owners were very responsive to all questions I submitted in advance of our stay and very accommodating upon our arrival. Andermatt is a small town, so everything was easily walkable, and the house is right on the bus route, should you wish to take the bus. House was very clean. Various kitchen staples, such as spices and cooking oils were available, which was nice. Great closets and storage space in the bedrooms, which was appreciated as we stayed for a week, so there was plenty of space to put our things. Having a sauna was great! ski room for storage and heated rack for boots was a bonus! It would have been nice to have a microwave. The fireplace was not real, so that was a bit of a disappointment.

- Michelle (9/5): Lovely holiday home from home in Andermatt - This is a lovely house, newly renovated, in a quiet street 8 mins on foot from the village centre. We had everything we needed for self catering, and the hosts were extremely friendly and very kind and helpful. Balcony, garden, sauna, well-equipped kitchen, lots of cupboard space, great views ….Definitely recommend. The beds are very comfortable - but the design of the 2 single beds in each room means the mattresses can’t simply be pushed together to make a double. There’s always a gap. Note also that there is a washing machine but no dryer - no problem in summery good weather, but otherwise may not be optimal (there is a big ski room in the basement though where you could put up a rack).
