• Marcel (9/5): - Well appointed, exceptional property in a great location. The dishwasher was malfunctioning and must have been for some time based on the amount of gunge in the trap. Pity as this did impact on our comfort and enjoyment of this otherwise exceptional property. My suggestion to all property owners: make a point of staying in your own property for a few days a a couple of times a year to pick up on those things that might get missed.
• Raguvaran (10/5): Wonderful home and beautiful canal out the back. Lovely to watch sunrise. Adults and the kids loved it a lot. - Everything, location, the house and the water surrounding it. Everything you need is available and stores are within 5 mins distance. Dishwasher trays need replacement, they are old and rusty. It still works but sometimes you need to run the cycles twice. Having a dryer would have been nice but I understand that given weather it’s not always required. However when we stayed it was windy and chilly and clothes did not dry properly.

The layout was not as I thought but after touring the house there has been so much thought put into design, that all bedrooms have their own retreat. It’s a great house for multi generation or a bunch of friend. Nothing the house is perfect.

• Jane (8/5): Very enjoyable, a few little tweaks would have made it perfect, host was extremely approachable - Clean, modern, spacious, lovely setting. Host Michelle was lovely - we arrived after an 8hr travel from Karajini, on a Monday, which we were unaware is a “dry” day in Carnarvon (bottle shops closed). Michelle very kindly gifted us two bottles of wine. She was also very prompt responding to little queries about the house and brought us two airers for the washing - unfortunately the washing machine spin cycle was broken and the newly ordered machine didn’t arrive during our stay. Pity about the washing machine being unusable after the first attempt. Some odd glitches with different lights - above the cook hob, out on the deck. Aircon seemed unreliable in our master bedroom - we had it on for 2 out of the 3 days, gradually increasing from 22 tp 25 degrees with no perceptible warming. The room remained quite cool. However, the bed was warm and comfortable 😊 There is a booster switch for the hot water in the garage - it would be worth labelling that, or making specific mention of it. I think I accidentally turned it off on arrival because I thought it was a light switch. We subsequently ran out of hot water on the first morning, but a quick message to Michelle fixed the problem!
