Guest Reviews
- Rachael (10/5): Lovely comfortable cottage stay with modern fittings - The cottage was well situated in a quiet space, but very close to town. It was clean and practically fitted out, roomy and well insulated. We accidentally drove into the casale estate instead of the casale cottage on our check in night, a few more lights near the driveway would help with navigation. But that is nitpicking

- Kylie (10/5): Great place , just a few things need attention - Very cute
Everything you need
Quite Bed uncomfortable
Pillows hard
2 x wheelie bins outside overflowing and very smelly
Tiles outside front door very slippery when wet
- Marta (10/5): Beyond expectations - Everything was absolutely perfect! One of the best stays if not the best in Australia. Highly recommended! No such thing

- Michael (9/5): Great place to base ourselves in the Barossa and with everything we needed!! - A really good set up and in a beautiful location. Quiet but facilities close by.
- Ian (8/5): A nice spacious and private cottage - There was no breakfast or food provided, not even milk! There should have been milk in the fridge. The toilet could have been cleaner and the ducted air-conditioning filter was full of dust/dirty.
- Michael (3/5): Overpriced under deliverd - The hot shower
Lounge was comfy Bed was hard, sheets were like paper, child cot was not provided after requesting one, no milk provided, even though coffee was provided.
Vacuum did not work very well, and was full
Stayed at many places at the barossa valley and got more for our many, and had better experience.
- Karen (10/5): - Large rooms, comfortable decor and ideal location.
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neera (8/5): Very good - Spacious cosy place with all the amenities! Need another mirror.

- Christine (10/5): Excellent place to stay in the Barossa - This is my second stay at Casale cottage. It is clean, tidy and very comfortable. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well equipped. There was everything that I needed. Nothing to report. I was happy with everything

- Pam (10/5): Perfect get away in the Barossa. - The house was very modern , spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities were very good. Amazing bathroom. Lovely bread for breakfast and a complimentary bottle of wine from the owner from their winery were lovely touches . Location was just right for what we wanted to see in the Barossa. Perfect for a sisters get away . It was a pleasure to stay at Casale.
- Christine (9/5): Perfect for what I needed. Very comfortable - The house was well-equipped and very comfortable. The full kitchen made cooking very easy and the good insulation and air conditioning meant that the house was warm on frosty mornings while I was there. The bed was firm which was wonderful for me. Communication with Rosa was great and she was very helpful. I had a very comfortable stay and can't think of anything that I didn't like.
- Arthur (8/5): Highly recommended. - Quietness and comfort. Cleanliness and nice surroundings. Great heating. We were unsure whether breakfast was provided or not. Clear details on all websites would have been helpful. Some ordinary tea would have been appreciated. Electric blankets, or even hotwater bottles. We arrived late, & were cold. A warm bed would have been lovely.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - Casale was in a great location, away from the town centre of Nuriootpa but a short drive from everything we needed. The accommodation was set among vines and olive trees and it was pleasant to sit outside at the end of the day after touring around.
- Healy (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (5/5): disappointing for the cost - Quiet location, set back from main road. Large rooms & plenty of room. shower water slow to run away & end up with flooding bathroom. Breakfast facilities very minimal, lucky we took some coffee & other items. Lock box hard to open. Couches very hard.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Location, facilities, comfort. No dislikes.
- Catherine (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): Lovely - This property is modern, lovely inside and out, and situated in a quiet location. I would recommend anyone to this home. There was nothing to dislike, however a BBQ might be a good addition to the premises for people wanting to have a quiet gathering outside during the lovely weather.
- Caz (10/5): Rosa was a lovely hostess. very clean, private and comfortable with great amenities - clean and great hosts
- Kylie (9/5): Very relaxing and comfortable - The breakfast provisions left were basic toast and croissant and butter jam and full cream milk , the key was easy to find . The place was exactly as photos that were on internet .
Clean and tidy and great heating ducted as it was raining and very cold on arrival . These days internet I think is a big necessity we had 5g , 4g and 3 g 1 bar at night we couldn’t get any internet in bedrooms and we only had normal Tv 📺 ( no Netflix) I think you can get NBN for $85 month or starlink $140
I think these days internet is a big must we had nothing to watch at night and we are night owls and also as we stay up late a tv in bedrooms would be a great addition even after a day exploring Barossa it’s nice to kick back and relax in bedrooms not everyone watches the same thing. No DVD player with movies would of been something if no Netflix and some magazines and maybe a book for comments .. as it’s fairly new I think some small additions will help
As the price bracket is up market . A carport in future might be nice addition and bbq .
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - The only negative for the site is describing it as a bed and breakfast; scant provisions for breakfast though the facilities for enjoying breakfast are excellent. All other aspects are 9-10 and highly recommend the site which is well-located.
- Pchen8 (7/5): Good -
- Leela (10/5): Had the best time. - The privacy and the view. nothing
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Comfortable beds. Quiet location. Helpful staff. No washing powder for the machine. Would have been good to have instructions on use of the oven. Quite complicated!
- Samantha (10/5): fabulous! - everything! nothing!
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Sandy (9/5): Excellent comfortable home - Everything needed was provided. Very nice, clean and comfortable home. Great place to stay. No internet available, but contacted owners and they were in the process of organising.
