• Ros (9/5): We had a lovely weekend - The property was very well appointed and clean. The beds were very comfy and warm. The location was fantastic, just park the car undercover and walk to everything. The property smelt a bit dank, however there was a lot of rain about. The main bathroom exhaust fan is ineffective and everything becomes wet, especially after a few people shower.

• Gordon (9/5): We loved it! - It is situated right in the middle of Monteville with easy access to everything. You can't here any noise at all through the day even when there are lots of people around. The facilities are excellent and has everything you need and more. We would highly recommend.

• Kathryn (9/5): It was really an idyllic few days we spent here. - I was with a friend and we were both wanting to just get away to spend some time in peace and quiet, so we loved that it had separate areas where we could be alone. It’s also very handy to the centre of town, but not at all noisy. It’s across from the state school, but it was school holidays, so perhaps it might be noisier in term time. We only had one set of keys, so that made it difficult for both of us to come and go as we pleased.

Then we discover the code was on page 3 , not helpful We were then sent another email saying here is your code , WRONG code , then the goats wouldn't respond to requests for help

• Michael (8/5): Excellent location, very clean and very comfortable - Excellent location, close to everything When a property advertises 2 bathrooms, it is normal that these are ensuited or close to bedroom. The 2nd bathroom was downstairs which was a challenge for my wife with knee injury. Carpets are old and need replacing

• Deborah (9/5): A great weekend stay in an excellent location. - The townhouse was in a very central location set back from the street behind a shop. It was however very quiet and we loved we just had to walk down a drive and we were in the centre of everything. Montville is always lovely. The townhouse had good size bedrooms and bonus downstairs area as well. Everything you needed was there. We were given clear instructions on where to find the key. The hosts were wonderful and let us check in early. We were there for a girls weekend away and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended. We were pretty happy with everything and don't think there was anything we didn't like. If I was being picky maybe the outdoor balcony could do with a de-cobweb but that is about it.
• Emma (10/5): Really relaxing and comfortable. - Easy to find, fantastic location. Big and roomy. We stayed as a couple but we could easily have had several people staying there without getting in the way. The downstairs lounge was really useful. A little tight to get in the driveway, but we did have a Prado so the car was a bit big. A small car would be absolutely fine.

(For those rainy nights ) House was large and spacious As many other reviews have mentioned a very musty smell as soon as we entered house downstairs. Window in smaller bedroom once opened cannot be closed. There is a pod coffee machine but no instructions on how to use.

Good location to explore the area No ceiling fans in the property and one bedroom has no air conditioner. All the cafes and shops shut by 3pm. Limited dining for dinner.

• Mentiplay (10/5): Perfectly situated, cosy, and homey. So spacious. - The accommodation is so perfectly situated in the beautiful Monteville surrounds. We were able to walk with such ease to all of the main stores. Even at its rainiest this was such a cosy and wonderful trip.

• Stella (9/5): Marvellous Montville Attic - Spacious, dedicated parking, quality appliances and furniture, comfortable beds. Billiards table and board games. Filtered water system. Quiet. Cool mountain breeze. Montville strip of shops right at our doorstep. No dishwasher, so we brought disposable plates, bowls and cups to avoid doing the dishes during holiday mode. Hosts were terrific with communication and looking after our needs. All was good.

There was a damp musty smell in the bottom of the property and was not able to open the front door, to give air flow so this smell would air out.

• Patricia (10/5): Very clean, comfortable and spacious, and extremely well-located. - We loved the space, the white bedlinen, the thick white towels, the filtered water and the abundance of crockery and cutlery. It was ideally located and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Montville Attic to anyone wishing to stay in Montville. We had difficulty opening the door initially. There were two keys, and we couldn't work out which worked in which lock. I rang Simon and he immediately wanted to come to our rescue, but I managed to work it out. Perhaps having only one key on the key ring would be useful. We were afraid to lock the top lock in case we couldn't open it again.

Upstairs with kitchen, lounge room, dining room, verandah and everything needed for a relaxing stay. No complaints. Nothing. It was superb and I would definitely stay here again as I intend to next year 😁
