• bill (8/5): A comfortable stay. - Location was great. Clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The building was showing its age. A coat of paint once in a while would help greatly. Some windows and doors were difficult to open and close and some had no fly screen.

• Shane (8/5): Excellent stay great location. - Breat beach front location, Victor Harbour & Goolwa etc. Big yard for Dog to run around. The front verandah to sit and take in the beach vibe. The furniture on the front verandah. The exterior is getting a bit sad. Could do with ceiling fans which will also benefit the energy cost, instead of having to run air conditioning as much. No bath tub.

• Ashley (1/5): Bad - Location was perfect. Airconditioning not working. Heat wave weekend. Wanted to cancel on arrival. Unwind encouraged us to stay and find alternative next day. Alternative was at McLaren Vale. Declined as we were surfing. Went home on first day due to heat. Asked for refund for 2 nights out of 3. Only offered refund of less than 1/3 of total cost. After many emails and calls including agents Unwind and booking.com I have only recovered just under half the cost. Unwind do not care. I have this matter with Consumer and Business Affairs. I intend on further action until it is resolved. Hire at your own risk. Overall ~$1200 spent, ~$600 refunded for 1 uncomfortable night in a house advertised as airconditioned. Not satisfied at all with the service.

• Jane (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back! - Fabulous location, love staying here. Complementary bottle of wine :) Only 2 teaspoons in he cutlery drawer! Sliding door to outside balcony needs a handle on the inside.
• Bridget (9/5): Great, would stay again. - Location fantastic, views wonderful (Unfortunately no whales during our stay) Kitchen a decent size and well equipped. Games and books provided. A big washing machine, clothes hoist and plenty of pegs. All tiny things, nothing that spoiled our holiday. A squeegee would have been nice to clean the view windows. The salt spray rapidly dirties the windows. The Internet was not working when we arrived, but a call to the host quickly fixed that. The R/C air con also was not working, but the switch had tripped in the fuse box, so we fixed that and had no further problems. There were a few minor maintenance issues - doors sticking, kitchen cupboards not quite closing, no handle on the downstairs shower door, a small spring poking out of the side of a mattress. Downstairs toilet sometimes not stopping flushing, Downstairs shower dripping sometimes if not very firmly turned off. Recycle bin was almost completely full when we arrived, and was not collected during our stay.

• Woolford (9/5): Right on the beach with wonderful views, very relaxing, and shared with our pets. - When we arrived at T A H R E N - B E A C H F R O NT - L O D G E initially couldn't find it. We stopped outside a rather shabby looking beachfront property. I think I offended the host, as I rang them to confirm where it was and described it as shabby! When we went inside, and saw the magnificent view, our opinion soon changed! It was literally a’ Stone's Throw’ from the beach. The large plot was well fenced, we have three Papillon dogs and they loved it. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and very relaxing. We enjoyed it so much we booked another night!
