Guest Reviews
- Billie (10/5): Brilliant stay. Short walk to Acland st, the esplanade and easy access to commute in and out of the city. Great coffee j - Great location, clean and super comfy. Thank you!!!
- Anne-Maree (8/5): We lived our little weekend home - Great place in the heart of St Kilda, will be back
- Jon (2/5): Underwhelming apartment and complicated hosts. - Ease of arrival instructions. No parking space was provided. It was just an illegal spot on the street. Someone attempted to break into my vehicle throughout the night. Outstanding maintenance issues existed along with dust standing on decorative fittings such as light shades and clutter. The neighbourhood was loud and unsafe to walk alone. The hosts are incredibly needy and post long messages and continue to spam you if you don't answer immediately.
- VARUN (10/5): - The unit was just perfect. Hosts were amazing and kept in touch with accurate instructions from start to the end. The unit was located in an amazing location very near to restaurants, coffee shops etc. Had all the facilities and more to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommended! None.
- Daisy (10/5): Very quiet in a busy location - Comfortable beds and very quiet Could smell better
- Malika De Silva (7/5): Comfortable - Location and the interior design There is only one bathroom for 3 bedrooms. Parking was on street in a 1P zone. We parked at our own risk as per host's guidance.
- Amy (10/5): A cutie workers cottage in the heart of StKilda close to everything and all you could need. - It was so cute, and in the BEST location. So close to everything, acland street, Carlisle street, Fitzroy street. Near all PT. Parking available. Cool graffiti art around. Comfy beds, and lounge. Appointed kitchen. Washing machine. Nothing - it was fabulous.
- Leah (10/5): Great location, easy access to food facilities and home is safe and secure and very homey - Great host, easy to communicate with and very helpful There is no complaint from me
- Anna (8/5): Convenient, clean and comfy. - Great location in a quiet street. Easy to access and lovely styling. Very clean and tidy, had everything we need for the long weekend, close to shops and restaurants. very comfy beds and lovely fresh linen.
- Joan (8/5): - Lots of consideration gone into providing amenities to make a comfy stay Extra pull-out bed was a little difficult to use

- Luci (10/5): Our stay in St Kilda was amazing. The house location was perfect, clean and comfortable. -
- Stacey (10/5): - Location
- Amy (8/5): Great accommodation for our short stay. Equipped for our family with good communication from the host. - Clean, tidy and spacious accommodation. Good communion and easy access
- Ashleigh (8/5): -
- Alice (3/5): Impractical and dirty - Mattress was comfortable. That’s the only positive. Booked 2 nights but only stayed one night due to problems in the house.
House has no opening windows and doors have no screens. Bedrooms do not have windows. Ceiling skylights only.
Unsafe and impractical kitchen: the only PowerPoint was loose and coming off the wall with exposed wires. Drawers did not have knobs or push release mechanisms - you couldn’t open the drawers without opening the oven and then fiddling around with nails to try and open them.
Bathroom: broken toilet seat and broken toilet roll holder. Human waste on top of toilet roll. Slippery tiles in shower - I slipped.
General House - floors filthy- within 10 mins after my shower my feet were black. Dirty marks across the walls and doors - ordinarily wouldn’t be a problem but owner advised freshly repainted so take care. Hadn’t been painted in years going by all the dust and marks. Coffee table decorative bamboo- vertically positioned without glass on top making unstable and also if you drop anything on it it will be stuck or lost. If you spill anything you can’t clean it.
Missing smoke alarm - connector on ceiling with no smoke alarm. Another safety hazard.
Outdoors: claimed an outdoor patio - this “patio space” is only accessible through the bathroom with a door which can’t fully open and the space would be less than 1m squared.
Additional costs: notified after booking that you will be automatically charged $50 if you haven’t emptied the bins. If you require an earlier check in (sent twice) you can pay an extra $50.
Messages always requested wanting feedback to improve, but when provided was rude and insulting claiming I was the rude one and have “negative energy” - it’s not easy saying the toilet paper literally has poop on it, the house has safety concerns and was not clean or as described.

- Alexandra (10/5): A fantastic location and characterful home - Spotlessly clean, characterful and beautifully organised home Nothing
- Tamaryn (5/5): The wifi was intermittent and did not work most of the time . The toilet seat was broken. We are still waiting for a cl - The wifi was intermittent and did not work most of the time . The toilet seat was broken.
We are still waiting for a clothing item to be returned 2 months since our stay.
- Marzena (9/5): - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja
- Robyn (10/5): - House was very clean and comfortable. Kids loved the array of toys. Close to everything we needed.
- Jorja (9/5): - The property had everything we needed, good parking, great location and good communication from the hosts, overall a great place to stay!
- Belinda (9/5): Perfect St Kilda bolthole - Great location, in a quiet little lane. Easy to get to. Only a short bus ride or nice walk to St Kilda centre. Great parking for larger cars (we had a Ford Ranger). Beautifully appointed, you can tell a lot of hard work from our very friendly and considerate hosts. Fantastic communication from them at all times. Very comfortable beds and quality linen and pillows, which was VERY appreciated. Only one bathroom, minimal outside space, spacious for what it is but a little much for one of our claustrophobic guests 🙂. But none of this is really a big issue, just something to be aware of, and you expect these things in a city home. It's a perfect bolthole for staying in St Kilda.

- Jasmin (10/5): Wonderful - I liked everything about the property
- mi sun (4/5): Very noisy house - Host was kind
all animities are good - many towels, tissues, kitchen stuff There are may glass windows on ceiling and it is so noisy on raining day perticulary the room next to toilet. The sounds were incedibly big an we couldn't sleep at all for 3 days, raining during my travel periods.
Big noise in the morning as this house located to next to factory..

gorgeous little house , great for a weekend getaway !
very clean , comfy bed . no natural airflow unless front / bathroom door open .

- Kristy (10/5): We loved everything about our stay! - Incredibly clean! Great location and very accomodating hosts.
- Joel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): We loved our stay here. Excellent location and the host was very accommodating. - Amazing location, only a short stroll to the main area of St Kilda. Kitchen cupboards need fixing
- Mavis (1/5): Host accusations that the children were damaging the house - We had followed the rules where we had request the late check-out and transferred the late fee that requested by the host. We were also following the house rules, keeping the property as clean as possible such as washed the dishes, threw the rubbish and folded the bed.
Unfortunately, my sister was disappointed by the host's unfounded accusations that the children were responsible for damaging and coloring the wall. The host implied that the children might be lying and suggested we, as parents, should "educate" them to tell the truth. However, we did not bring or provide any coloring materials, pencils, or art supplies for the children, as it was a brief stay following a late wedding night.
We remained cooperative and requested additional evidence, such as stamped date photos taken before our check-in, to help verify the damage and clarify the situation. Unfortunately, we received no response. Given the circumstances, it became clear that it would be our word against theirs. We strongly recommend that future guests take photos of all properties both before and after their stay, especially when children are involved, as they are often unfairly blamed in such incidents.
- Sopo (10/5): Exceptional - The airbnb was beautiful and so homely, it catered to 7 adults and 2 children under the age of 10!!
There was constant communication between me and the host right up until we left, the house was clean and immaculate, the kitchen was well equipped and the host even had games and books to keep the kids entertained when we needed a break hahaa
This gem was well equipped with all the necessities, comfy beds, quality blankets and sheets, cleaning supplies, washing supplies, you name it James had it!
The host was so great my aunt and cousins from New Zealand wanted his number directly to book his house for their next visit to Melbourne!
This was me and family's first ever time staying at an airbnb and it was a great experience!
Thanks you James for the amazing stay will definitely be booking with you in the future!

We arrived on a very hot day and the host had kindly popped the air conditioning on awaiting our arrival.
The beds and bedding super comfy, everything you need is there. Nothing ! This place has it all

- Jane (8/5): Perfect place for a family who wants a good value house within striking distance of the city. - Great location and plenty of space for a family. Close to trams, shops and beaches. Host was really helpful and friendly. It was a bit chilly, but then it was winter in Melbourne, and there were lovely warm blankets as well as heaters. There was also a real fire available if we had needed it. Very difficult to find anything we didn’t like!

The space itself is newly renovated and beautiful and close to everything St Kilda has to offer though still on a quiet little street. Definitely recommend.
- Cyndi (10/5): excellent ! - the house very nice and cozy the sheets under the blanket a little bit dirty
- Paul (7/5): Lovely time in Melbourne. - House had everything we needed. Owners helpful and friendly. Good size for what we needed. Short walk to tram and restaurants. Lounge was a little overused ( seat cushions uncomfortable due to being out of shape and dirty in places.
I didn’t know at Kilda well . Location parking was awkward and as a traveling family with children would have liked two single beds in one of the rooms . Location might suit group of adults more.

Comfy beds, great tv options, good shower, tram stop only 3 mins away, 10 minutes walk to the esplanade and Acland st, no cell fitted out. As a family of three we prepared and ate meals in the house, a dishwasher would have been a bonus but not essential.
- Melissa (10/5): We loved our stay in this stylish house. It had everything we needed. They even had the heater going for our arrival. -
- Fallon (9/5): Superb -
- Browne (10/5): Exceptional -

- Stuart (10/5): Great accom for city getaway - Great location for city sites restaurants and clubs.
Walking distance to the beach/bars/restaurants etc.
As there was 6 of us in our group a house stay made the weekend more social rather than be in separate hotel rooms etc.
Great neat /tidy house with cooking facilities if needed.
