Guest Reviews
- Janette (10/5): Staff couldn’t be more helpful, local amenities on the doorstep. - A lovely apartment, in a fabulous location. Nothing it was every thing we expected.
- Elaine (9/5): The unit was very well equipped and lovely decorated. All the information was very easy to follow. -
- Mikey (9/5): The apartment was lovely and had all the little things you needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. It felt we - The accommodation was really lovely and beautifully presented. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were fresh, clean and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax and feel at home. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay. There was nothing I didn’t like about the apartment, it was lovely. The complex was tidy and very well maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The only small thing I noticed was that the fan in the main bedroom appeared to run constantly and there didn’t seem to be a way to switch it off, so perhaps an isolation switch could be considered.
There was also a small amount of construction happening around the pool area during our stay, however it didn’t impact our experience at all. Overall, it was a really pleasant place to stay.
- sally (10/5): We had a lovely relaxing stay in very clean, comfortable accommodation - a home away from home. - The location of the room within the resort was really nice. we had a lovely view out of the balcony. The amenities in the room were fantastic. I loved being able to make a coffee as soon as i arrived. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Nothing.
- Laetitia (8/5): Overall pleasant, great location and was clean - Location, cleanliness, resort was Lovely. Aircon was a bit hard to use, wanted to work when it wanted to. There was a lot of sugar ants upon arrival, would have been good to have some bug spray there if it is a common issue . Stove also took a long time to heat up
- Putry (10/5): -
- Matt (10/5): - Beautiful apartment. Very big, clean & well maintained. Well stocked with full sets of pots, pans, crockery.
- Eddie (8/5): - Space comfort - for 2 people Nil
- susan (5/5): Nice amenities terrible host - thecheck in was terrible, we asked to meet him at 1pm as i was discharged from Hospital and he said yes, he would be there at reception at 1pm, l then left a message saying leaving Cairns now heading to Palm Cover at 1.30 pm , no answer , when we arrived i text again and he said chek in was stricktly 3pm and the room was not ready yet
My husband almost walked but we had paid
WE WAITED UNTIL AFTER 3PM WITH ME FEELING TERRIBLE IN RECEPYION TO GET IN
- Derek (9/5): - N.A. The pool had a lot of leaves in it "still very nice"
- Anne (10/5): Lovely spot to stay and explore - Very nicely set out and very comfy. Loved being close to the beach. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Nothing!!☺️
- Beryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanja (9/5): Superb - Comfortable, very clean, perfect location, friendly staff.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (9/5): Superb - Early check-in was provided - thank you! The apartment is lovely and very comfortable. It's cosy and relaxing. The host turned on the air conditioning before our arrival. The pool was so nice! The Spanish restaurant, Miguel's, right outside the resort was delicious! We would love to stay again. It was a little bit tricky to know what where to park and meet the host when we first arrived, but we got that sorted easily enough after making a phone call to the main office of the accommodation management company. The security card was a little temperamental to scan. My Telstra phone service was very patchy in the area, mostly the data didn't work reliably.
- William (10/5): Exceptional - Dry well appointed and comfortable. A great location and excellent staff. Very helpful and polite. Great communication
- Kylie (10/5): Beautiful location, very homely accommodation, and great service. - I liked how we had everything we needed especially when we have kids. Close to the beach and facilities.
- Douglas (7/5): Excellent accommodation but very bad booking/check in experience. - Excellent property in a very good location. Very comfortable unit for two or two with a child. After some 50/70 bookings through Booking.com, I was required to identify myself with completion of a check in form requiring downloading identification details. I had difficulty with this and after a phone conversation with a representative of Cozie who I discovered were the property managers, they agreed that I could photo my drivers licence and text it. After their receipt of this they requested more identification. I then sent a copy of my most recent Rate Notice. I was not comfortable as I did not know who Cozie was ? They then informed me that if I arrived after 6pm I would incur a $60 to $80 fee, Hard to be exact given I travelled from the South Coast of NSW. They asked me to phone them on arrival at Cairns Airport to provide an estimate of arrival time so that they could ensure that someone would meet me at the hotel. On arrival at Cairns Airport, I phoned at 4.10pm, 5 minutes before departure of the transfer coach. Given the trip is 30 minutes, they assured me someone will meet us. Upon arrival at 4.40pm, we were not met as arranged and had to sit in the foyer for 30 minutes awaiting a representative from Cozie to arrive with our key. Hard for a couple in their 70's having commenced their travel at 7am ! A bad experience all round. An excellent unit.
- Janice (10/5): Delightful apartment, gorgeous balcony outlook, no interruptions. Wish we owned it! - We self catered mostly and the kitchen was well equipped and v clean, Not a thing! We appreciated the space, the view, the lovely furnishings and accessories, 2 bathrooms plus laundry. The peaceful nights, happy days and good walks to shops, cafes, restaurants etc, The pools were amazing and garden grounds etc spotless. Oh! And the beds etc. wonderful💕
- Veronica (10/5): We enjoyed our stay very much - Great ammenities, lovely pool, comfortable apartment.
- Bonnici (8/5): Tropical Oasis among the Melaleucas - Perfect spot for families. Apartment is situated on the top floor, overlooking the pool area. It is just gorgeous with glimpses of ocean views. The pool area has 2 bbqs, which were regularly used by other guests, so get in quick at dinner time. The local tavern is behind you with restaurants, cafes and an ice cream shop in front of you. Though it was quite windy with rough seas during our stay, it was a beautiful beach and would surely not disappoint on a calm, sunny day. If it is windy, don't expect to get much beach time as the swell was way too dangerous for swimming. There wasn't much to not like whilst staying here. The only minor improvement I would suggest, which I see in many airbnbs, is that the kitchenware needs replacing, mainly cooking pans. For such a long stay, we wanted to cook a few meals, but old frying pans make hard work of it. We managed though.
- Luke (9/5): Superb - Best location, lovely clean apartment. We were very comfortable. Everything was really good, no negatives to our stay
- Meri-jade (8/5): Felt Ripped off - The apartment it self was lovely. However only 1 champagne glass and 2 plastic wine glasses. Value for money was $1000 more then if we booked directly with dift palm cove which was very upsetting to see you need to adjust your rates they are way to high. We are coming back same time next year however we will be booking directly with the resort now. Too expensive $1000 more then as if I booked directly woth palm cove.
Missing champagne glasses
- Barb (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our stay in this apartment. So beautiful to wake to pool views, beautiful trees and birdsong. We had a complicated time with flights and hire car bookings being messed up, and our best experience was dealing with the renters of this apartment. Very quick responses to messages and very flexible. The apartment is on the waterfront and you can walk everywhere in Palm Cove. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, our kids shared happily. Everything was as advertised.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Nicole (10/5): Beautiful apartment, well appointed and had what we needed. Perfect location! - The apartment was beautifully decorated, and the beds were very comfortable.
- Lisa (10/5): overall a wonderful experience ! - view over the pool was stunning !
Unit was perfect !
elevator was quick ! noise from kids swimming in the pool
A fan on the balcony would of been great.
- David (9/5): Comfortable - This is the best location in Palm Cove. The resort of quiet and family friendly with a great lagoon style pool. It close to good eating places and of course the beach. The room is comfortable with everything you need Pre arrival communication was a little confusing between getting alerts through Booking.com and information directly. This was a very very minor problem but worth the hosts checking and streamlining in the future.
- Barbara (9/5): Absolutely fabulous! - We loved the setup of the unit and especially the view from the balcony. The unit contained all equipment needed for our stay, and it was an easy walk to all shops and restaurants. There was a bus stop up the hill in Vievers Road and we caught this for a day out in Cairns. A box of tissues would have been handy.
Also there was no designated wardrobe space for the second bedroom. Having said that I can see that this would be difficult, given the layout.
