- Payer (9/5): Ons derde verblijf. - De woning voelt huiselijk, warm en vertrouwd. Helaas geen vriesvakje aanwezig. Dat maakt het keukenblok compleet.
- Smith (9/5): Great location - We loved the location and the proximity to the car park, shops and restaurants. We loved the kitchen area too.
- jason (10/5): Amazing stay - Everything Nothing
- Karien (10/5): Batterijen terug opgeladen in leuk huisje - Gezellige inrichting /
- Kaye Stannard (8/5): Cute old house with sunny garden. - Excellent location for walking to many interesting locations. Great tips from the host about places to visit nearby. It was a bit cold initially but house warmed up with some fine and sunny days.
- Paul (5/5): I would have stated pleasant but wasn't totally satisfied so "Passable" is being generous. - We were self catering The noisy peice of plate steel in the road outside that cars kept running over and making one hell of a noise. This plate was eventually removed by the third day. The stairs to the bedroom were in my opinion unsafe insomuch as there is no proper handrail and the stair treads are not wide enough. You had to come down sideways to get a full foot on the tread. As the toilet was on the ground floor, getting up to use the bathroom during the night was downright dangerous and a fall could cause some serious injury to anyone infirm or elderly. This is not stated on the booking information. A child gate is required in case a toddler or young child falls down these stairs and is injured. There is no washing machine. The upstairs floor creaks noisily which is disturbing should anyone need to get up in the night. This house is not wheelchair friendly as there is a 6 inch step to get in the front door. The trim around the cooker top was loose and food debris was found underneath! There's no sharp knives.
- verity (8/5): - very good location. Clean. lots of equipment for cooking etc. the second bed uncomfy for an adult - was with my adult daughter , needs a better mattress.
would have been happy to bring own towels if we knew how small and only one each provided.
- Fanny (9/5): - nous avons apprécié la proximité du centre et la terrasse
- Dodd (10/5): Cosy with a great location - Great location, central but very quiet. House is small but cosy and uses the space well. 5 of us stayed and it served us well. There is a nice private outdoor space. Parking is convenient for overnight parking on the street and free parking a 2 minute walk away for free day time parking. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Jo (8/5): Really enjoyed the stay and very comfortable - very easy to find and close to the town centre - quiet location and very comfortable house
- Nagy (8/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): Quiet centally-located house with a secluded garden. Great for us, steep stairs to sleeping area might be a problem for -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Very quiet street, a sunny courtyard suitable for sitting out even in March. Good sized rooms for a couple, the bathroom was roomy and there was a copious supply of hot water. The location is really good for accessing the town and there is a nice bakery within 100metres. The staircase to the bedroom is the real drawback. It is steep and only has a partial handrail. Anyone with any sort of mobility issues will struggle. Not suitable if you were bringing a small child.
The welcome e-mail sent via Booking.com which contained the key box code arrived on the day of arrival and I had no internet connection on my phone. I then had to call the owners. It would be better to send the message the day before arrival.
- Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little place, close to the town centre, but down a quiet side street. Comfy bed! Nice seating area outside. Although there is no parking at the place itself, you can park for free in the square nearby, a less than 5 minutes' walk away, or park on the road nearby. The town itself is really nice, with several restaurants nearby, plus an excellent bakery a couple of minutes away from the holiday home. Nothing we didn't like. As others have mentioned, the stairs could be a bit of a challenge if you have mobility issues, but it was fine for us.
- Tracy (8/5): Excellent location - A lovely cottage in a great location in the centre of Poperinge. Although there is no parking at the property, there is lots of free parking close by. The cottage was well equipped. The open stairs were steep and the little 1/2 step at the top was quite precarious.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - This is our second stay here. The cottage is lovely. Clean. Everything you could ask for. And Poperinge and the surrounding countryside is lovely. Good for walking with doggies. And for WW1 interest. Would thouroughly recommend.
- Christine (10/5): Really nice place to stay - Excellent place to stay. Walk to train station. Comfortable beds, nice living space.
- Tunde (10/5): I was very thankful to be able to stay there with my dog. - The place had everything I needed - even a little backyard - it was quiet, clean , close to its center . On the stairs up to the bedroom one has to be careful but nothing to be scared of :)
- Callf (9/5): Very pleasant - Great location close to town centre. Spacious for two people. Stairs were difficult for older people. The half step at the top and the hand rail near the top were challenging near the top were challenging
- David (10/5): "Home" Juliette was as it says - a lovely home. I would actually be happy to live there!! - Where do I begin. The lovely house itself. The close proximity to the centre of town. The lovely view of the church steeple from the lounge window. The lovely court yard garden area. And of course Poperinge itself. We haven't been for many years and were reminded how much we love Poperinge.
We're in noisy Lille now - and wish we were back at Home Juliette in beautiful sleepy Pops.
We shall return!!
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fernando (8/5): Very good - The quality of all the house appliances and the shower I missed a dishwasher and a laundry machine
- Pip (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely well appointed place, sunny courtyard in the evening. Spotlessly clean. Slightly scary stairs but nothing can be done about these, place was excellent.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - As stated in review. We became unstuck and let down on a property we booked, which was no longer there a now was a furniture shop!! We booked this last minute, at 22.30 at night, this guys were so accommodating even met us at the property on arrival.
By far one of the best places we’ve stayed. Very clean even considering we gave them about 9 minutes notice of our arrival.. thanks again.. we’ve left a little something to say thank you on the lounge table Nothing it was perfect
