Guest Reviews
- Kyle (10/5): COZY BLISS - Property felt cozy and private. The front garden set a beautiful scene to wake up to. Shower head was a little weak but didn’t impact our stay.
- Kristopher (10/5): -
- Terence (8/5): - VERY CLEAN AND IN A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN SETTING THE COUCH NEEDS REPLACING AND THE WATER PRESSURE IN THE SHOWER WAS POOR
- Andrew (10/5): - How relaxing and cool the room is, the garden is spectacular! N/A

- Craig (9/5): - Compact private apartment great for a couple (not 3). The gardens were excellent with direct access to Wombat Hill botanical gardens. Lovely open space , peaceful and light filled. 8 or 9 out of 10 overall. Marked down a point for barely acceptable maintenance on the windows (some difficult to open, broken handles &/or dusty/dirty). Only barely essential items provided if that (soap, washing up liquid, etc etc). Given this is not a 'value' property, it's annoying to have to go to Coles to ensure the basics are covered.

- Baylee (9/5): A unique stay with striking architecture and spacious, comfortable, homey interiors, all easily accessible and close to - A unique space with brilliant architecture and roomy space, comfortable and homey. Easily accessible and close to town. Lots of wildlife, very loud. Animals in the heating/aircon units. Not dealt with during our stay.
- Liam (10/5): Beautiful house and garden - Beautiful house, amazing garden. Such an easy and relaxing stay. Loved lounging around the fireplace and the beautiful wildlife that visited the property.
- Brandon (10/5): Beautiful cottage amazing location - Loved the cottage & the location is amazing backing on to the botanical gardens..
- Rachael (10/5): Relaxing, cosy, happy stay. - Loved the garden, morning sun is just lovely. A very cosy comforting place. The spa bath is a great feature. Best place we’ve stayed at out of the four times we’ve been to Daylesford. Everything was good
- Andrew (10/5): Relaxing - The natural setting outside, the amazing woodwork inside.
It just felt like a place you wanted to be.
- Terence (9/5): The accommodation facilities, ambience and garden setting was so good that we were happy to spend most of our time at ou - Beautiful garden setting with full length windows to enjoy the setting plus the back gate was a short walk to Wombat Hill cafe - one of our favourite eating places in Daylesford. The walk up from the Main Street was the only minor negative for this property.
- Suzannah68 (7/5): Garden accommodation in Daylesford - The bed was large and comfortable. Plenty of towels were supplied for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a garden and somewhere to sit outside in the evening was lovely. It is a lovely quiet place to stay. The accommodation is at the rear of another accommodation on site. With another separate accommodation just a few metres away. There is a shared wall between Georgie Gardens and Kates Place. Thankfully we were the only guests when we stayed.
The shower above the bath could be challenging for many guests to get in and out of, as it is a large bath, it is quite high.
The accommodation was clean. However some minor detailed cleaning is overdue, such as cleaning the flywires, high tiling, windows, ceiling fan and light fittings. But overall we were happy.
- Cinda (8/5): Very good -
- Trevor (8/5): Love the location - Fantastic location, breakfast NA NA
- Charlie (10/5): We loved the place very much especially travelling far and walking into the place nice and warm from the fireplace - It was beautiful and peaceful absolutely nothing
- Robert (8/5): Pleasant and relaxing. - Gardens were beautiful. Spacious inside. Possums on roof. Had to take care getting into bath to have a shower.
- Yasmin (10/5): Absolutely beautiful bones and garden. More attention to cleaning though! Thanks team for a great stay! - The property was nestled on a gorgeously maintained garden escape. The high ceilings and beautiful fireplace made it such a cosy and comfortable stay. There were a lot of dead bug - ants, flies and spiders all along the shelving in the kitchen where the mugs were. We had to move the side table as I dropped my watch and there were more dead bugs and some old food under there.
- Melinda (10/5): Absolutely stunning little house, pretty garden, very clean throughout, even smelt fresh and pretty. Great location, ver - Such a pretty getaway house, gorgeous garden, quiet location but close to the town and the cute little back gate onto the Botanical Gardens. Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): Amazing couples retreat - The garden, location and vibe of the house was immaculate. Highly recommended for couples if they want a cozy and snuggly holiday. The water pressure of the shower was a little weak, but this really is nitpicking.
- Peter (9/5): Well appointed, cosy, great location, quiet at night. Recommended as a place to stay in Daylesford - The location is fabulous, and out the lovely back garden is an entrance to the Wombat Hill reserve. The bed is absolutely first rate, one of the best ever. The shower is very good. There's lots of interior space, you don't feel confined. The blinds work well for nighttime privacy, and the TV works well first time. The heating works very very effectively. Only a couple of peripheral things, which in no way detracts from the property as a fantastic place to stay - main entry keyhole needs a bit of attention, it takes a few tries to turn the key. Also, a few drink coasters and place mats would be handy (we couldn't find any).
- James (10/5): wonderful stay, thank you. - loved the wood interiors and garden setting. Felt like the home I would love to have!
- Ruby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bennett (10/5): perfect little getaway for a romantic stay - The natural light was really nice. The garden that lead to the public gardens with the cafe was really convenient. The fire place made the house really cozy and I loved it.
- Coby (10/5): We had a lovely relaxing time in the well appointed cottage, beautiful garden. - The cottage was wonderful and the garden is delightful.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (9/5): Superb -
- Briarna (8/5): Overall I had a lovely stay at georgie gardens - The backyard was absolutely beautiful. Great view from both the bedroom and the main room. House was very tidy. Loved the high ceilings. Felt really warm and cozy. Loved that I could iron and hang my clothes so they don't get creased. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of places are in a good walking distance or a short drive. Fireplace wasn't turning on. Some more amenities could have been replenished for example there wasn't much oil or matches left. First aid things should be provided. I burnt my hand on the frying pan while turning off the stove and didn't have bandaids with me. Would be nice to consider including first aid for future guests.
- Zeynep (9/5): My stay and accommodation was great. - Our short stay was lovely and the local dining places were only a short walk or driving distance. The bed mattress was a little too soft.
- Trevor (9/5): Superb -
- Justine (9/5): Superb -
