Guest Reviews
- Maniak (10/5): -
- Joanne (9/5): Had an enjoyable time in a lovely apartment. -
- Troy (10/5): Just a perfect, peaceful getaway - Clean, Cosy, conveniently located near Main Street, wood fire heater was awesome.
- Tina (5/5): Nice gardens . Cosy room . Kitchen had everything you need - The fire place That is was an old converted garage. Cold concrete floor .
The window above the double doors didn’t have any blinds . The light coming through first thing in the morning was blinding. Definitely no Sunday sleep in. Needs some kind of blind or curtain to block out the bright morning light.
The bed was horrible
So uncomfortable. I have a bad back . I woke up the first morning and I could barely walk.
Worst bed I’ve ever slept on.
2nd night I could hardly sleep because we were so uncomfortable. My partner had the same problem. His back was so bad the next day.
- Taylor (9/5): - Stylish fitout for what appeared to be an oversized ex-double garage. A good mix of furniture and the slow combustion stove came with an ample supply of fire wood. Everything worked. This was on ANZAC weekend. Ensuite shower door had been hung in a manner which caused perhaps 200cc to spill outwards onto the ensuite floor during each shower.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Juliet (7/5): Comfortable accommodation; close to the centre of town. -
- Trent (9/5): Superb -
- Terry (8/5): Very good -
- Marcelle (8/5): Very good -
- Adam (10/5): Cost and perfect lication - Very clean. Great location. Fire pit and indoor wood burner Nothing it was perfect
- Imogen (9/5): We loved the country feel of the rafters, the beautiful furnishings and comfy bed. Great value. - We loved the exposed rafters, furnishings and the lovely rugs on the floor. We didn't use the Coonara but this was also a nice feature for winter. The bathroom and kitchen were well appointed and clean. The bed was beautiful to sleep in. Very cosy and lovely pillows. Great sized fridge. It is in a great, quiet location and close to the Botanic Gardens. Generally we were very happy. I did however sit in a wicker chair outside that i think has been left out in the weather and the seat broke. Maybe more of a ME problem?
We also had a baby bat inside the house which was fine for my partner who was able to catch it after it finally landed on the flyscreen, but I am terrified of them. Not sure how it got in or how long it had been inside but glad we were able to catch it to release him/her safely outside.
