- Alexander (9/5): Super - Riesiges Ferienhaus. Tolle Terrasse.

- Rebecca (9/5): Comfortable large house with attractive private swimming pool - We stayed here in July. It’s a large hexagonal house with an attractive private swimming pool and barbecue area. Our kids loved the pool. It would be a good property for friend groups or large families. The kitchen has good facilities and there are three bathrooms. There is the possibility to see a variety of birds and wildlife in the garden and surrounding woodland. There are nice beaches nearby and it’s possible to do trips to Corcovado National Park. We enjoyed our stay here. I wasn’t keen on how permeable the house felt from the woodland area at the rear. I was conscious of locking the back door and upstairs area which is accessed via steps from the rear of the house, when we were in the pool area at the front as they are well separated. This is probably because I read another review about a guest being burgled. Otherwise it probably wouldn’t have crossed my mind. We didn’t have any problems at all while here and loved our stay.
- Laura (10/5): Estancia agradable en un espacio verde - Las instalaciones Tal vez me hubiera gustado más privacidad, hay otras casas muy cerca, y con las luces encendidas todo se ve de afuera.
- Irene (5/5): Very very poor host, definitely not recommended. - The caretakers, who live adjacent to the property were very helpful and pleasant. Location is approx 20 mins from Puerto Jimenez which was fine for us. We were burgled on day two whilst in the house and all our cash was stolen and we were suddenly thrust into the situation of having to deal with the police, the judiciary and the banking systems. It turned out that the CCTV which covers the back of the house had not been functioning since July 2024. The host, to this day, has been singularly unhelpful. He provided no assistance, has not compensated us in any way and has not once instigated contact. We were understandably traumatised by the whole situation but nothing was changed although we were advised on several occasions by the caretake that the host was going to visit he did not turn up in the four weeks that we were there. We have tried to negotiate with him on recompense both whilst we were there and after we left, and he has had ample opportunity and time to compensate us but he has chosen not to. Scoring the host: Helpfulness 0; Responsiveness 0; Communication 0; Concern and compassion 0; Moral judgement 0.
The property is not well signposted coming from that Puerto Jimenez direction. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom and the rest of the house has fans which are ineffectual. There are many doors into the property 4 downstairs and 6 upstairs and some have no locks whilst others have locks more suitable for internal doors not external. Although the listing shows and says laundry, it is not available to use; it has to be paid for $10 a time and is done by the caretakers.
- William (10/5): Wonderful relaxing space - especially to enjoy the pool and outdoor area. - Spacious house, beautiful outdoor area with pool. Master bedroom was really amazing, with a huge area for the rest of the family. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Mosquitos were a bit bad at night and in the AM in the main bedroom area (master was totally fine) - bring bug spray during rainy season.
- Steve (9/5): Superb - The property is mostly "rustic" with a modern main bedroom. The grounds are excellent with lots of wildlife.
The pool with the undercover are was really good, especially when it rained.
Our host who's name I have forgotten was very helpful including giving us a lift to the local restaurant.
- Evelyn (10/5): Paradise with great hosts - It’s got a great driveway, spacious house with two levels, great mosquito netting that goes around the bed, 3 bathrooms, lovely pets including a friendly parrot 🦜 and the outside patio is well kept and the pool stylish (and illuminated in the evenings!).
We stayed for 6 nights with Geraldo and his family and they were very welcoming and even gave us fresh bananas and coconut waters daily. His wife did our washing and folded it really neatly. We were never bored as there is so much to do on the Osa Peninsula and we really missed the place and all the people and animals living there when we left. We saw squirrel monkeys from the balcony in the morning and saw macaws fly over the house regularly. It could do with more light in the living room/ kitchen
- Carrie (10/5): I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you have a family. - Loved the pool area. Nice to sit and relax by the pool in the afternoon. Could absolutely see returning with a bigger group. There is a “master bedroom” that I tried sleeping in the first night but it didn’t cool down much even with the large ceiling fan. It would be much better if the bed was positioned directly under the fan. It was also extremely bright early in the morning which would be fine if you are an early riser.
Also (we were ok with it) they have two dogs (a German shepherd and a smaller mixed breed). They were extremely friendly (even tried being a lapdog) but if you don’t like dogs it could be a problem.
- Nick (9/5): Great value accommodation - A huge building (perhaps too big for a couple). Magnificent pool and bbq area. Great hosts. Excellent value for money and would be wonderful for large family group.
Location was opposite a very interesting coco/chocolate business which was within walking distance A little sole-less for just 2 people. 20km from Puerto Jimenez
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice, very big unit fully equipped, ,gorgeous pool, more like a guest house than a hotel. Silence th rooster lol The rooster s noise
- Ward (10/5): Exceptional -
