Guest Reviews
- Karina (8/5): - Blackheath Nook was a delightful and cosy place to stay. Very well located to pop into Blackheath itself and access Blue Mountains highlights. The accommodations were the best appointed we've had, e rushing you'd have in your own home. The hosts provided lots of easily accessible information and advice to make th most of our stay. Absolutely recommend.
- Annette (10/5): Great place for a really relaxing and enjoyable weekend, thank you. - Cosy and quiet, beautifully decorated, everything you need, clean. Close to shops but so peaceful. Nothing, loved it all.
- Marianne (10/5): Aufenthalt während Australienreise - Tolle Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung, bequeme Betten. Noch nie haben wir ein so gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus gehabt. Wir würden sicher wieder hierher kommen für ein nächstes Mal.
- Froukje (10/5): - Most quiet location, top beds, everything you need for cooking. There is really nothing that you would not like. Strongly recommended.
- Chris (9/5): We enjoyed our stay at Nooks and would recommend it. - Location was beautiful and quiet. Not far from the town centre and great cafes and places to eat out. The cottage was very comfortable for our short stay and everything was well equipped. Door code easy to use. It was a steep walk to the town, so you would need a car to get around.
- Jia (10/5): We were very happy with everything the house offered - Got everything we need Maybe a electric charger for the electric car?
- Jen Wildflower (10/5): Had a lovely Christmas at Blackheath Nook. Very relaxing and peaceful stay. - thank you. - The location was prefect. The house is very clean and lots of thought has gone into making this property exceptional. Very quiet and peaceful. Would love to come back and stay. I wish I could have stayed longer :)
- Loyce (10/5): We loved our stay - peace and quiet and close to the village - This is our second stay in approx 4 months and we absolutely love the property. From the decor (love the prints - David Bowie); comfortable and peaceful. Great location for bush walking or a pub lunch. We’ll be back again Nothing! It was fantastic. Everything was great and easy.
- Toni (10/5): Great accommodation in a beautiful part of Australia. - The house had everything we needed to make our stay in the Blue Mountains comfortable. The location is quiet but convenient. The outdoor area was a bonus as we could have breakfast in the sun.
Plenty of information was provided on local walks and eateries so we could make the most of our stay. It was a bit tricky getting in and out of the bath which had the shower over it.
- Maria (9/5): Loved our stay thank you. Highly recommend - The cottage was fantastic immaculate and well equipped, with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Nothing
- Loyce (10/5): Bowie, Blackheath, bush, bed - beautiful - You had me at Bowie. What a quirky place to stay. We absolutely loved it. The property is perfect for a couple. Close to shops and bush tracks. We will definitely be coming back
- James (10/5): Excellent experience and value for money - This takes home-from-home to a different level. Everything has been thought of to make it an easy and enjoyable stay, from comfortable beds, to luxury bathroom products. All the general kitchen condiments from olive oil to gladwrap are there in abundance. Until you experience this, you don’t realise how helpful this is. Massive tick in the sustainability box because of this which is wonderful to experience. Kent and Jacinta have thought of everything and are lovely to deal with. Thank you so much. There is honestly nothing to say here.
- Tina (10/5): - A very cold three days in the mountains but that didn't matter. Cosy cottage with excellent gas flame heater, well heated bathroom and comfy bed with electric blankets.
House beautifully appointed. Modern but not losing any of its original charm. Nothing not to like.
- Lumin (10/5): Fantastic little home to stay in. We really appreciated the personal touches and the attention to details. Thank you for - Was very clean and well provided for. Love the well equipped kitchen and warmth in all living areas. The front bedroom is a little cramped but overall we made it work.

All round great place, lovely hosts and well appointed cottage. There was nothing to not like. If I had to say anything it would be that it was Hard to find free to air channels on the tv.

- John (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and well stocked home. Large living room and good kitchen amenities.Generous with books and games to entertain yourselves. Onsite parking was great to have. Enjoyed the garden area too. The second bedroom was very small- had to shuffle sideways to get past one bed to the next. The beds in this room were not comfortable for an adult. Would be ok with kids but maybe not two couples.
- Katie (10/5): Loved it! Hope to be back again soon - Cosy, comfy and very well appointed
- Henriette (9/5): Charming cottage - Charming renovated cottage, exceptionally well equipped, very clean and great location for bush walks and exploring the area.Sunny back garden. Good heating. Wonderful place to stay! Being a cosy cottage, the 2nd bedroom is on the small side for adults.

- Elizabeth (9/5): Cozy, comfortable, clean and well appointed cottage in a great location with excellent facilities. - Comfortable and well styled cottage with great kitchen, amenities, comfortable lounge and very effective heating. Venue is close to the town centre and access on arrival was seamless. Hosts provided excellent communication before and during stay.
- Kirsten (9/5): Very well equipped cottage in great location. - Location was excellent - only a few minutes walk to the train station and shops. Nice quiet residential street. Superbly equipped cottage. A good base for exploring the Blue Mountains. 2nd bedroom is too small for 2 single beds, garden is overlooked by other properties and the road.
- Brian (10/5): Fantastic. Exceeded all our expectations. - The quirkiness of the little house that still held its character but with modern facilities. Everything we needed, and more, was well thought through.
Plenty of instructions to operate e.g. heating, tv, gaining access to the house Plus lots of information on the area.
The fact it was so central to Blackheath and surrounding areas. We cannot think of anything. It was That great,

- Mary (10/5): Exceptional! - This cottage is very special. It is so comfortable, has everything you could possibly need and many extras besides. The location is so beautiful and peaceful and yet within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants etc. The garden is truly wonderful, so quiet and peaceful and great for bird watching; we saw many different and many coloured birds!
The kitchen is great, with lots of crockery and utensils and a lovely coffee machine. The toiletries are divine and the bathroom great. We only stayed for 2 nights but could easily have stayed a week or even two! There is lots to see in the area but you will really need a car to get around as everything is quite spread out. Nothing

A pleasant walk to the shops, a very nice collection of shops to wander through. maybe more insulation, although it was a cold snap
- Magdalena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (8/5): lovely - clean, lovely home, with full amenities 2nd bedroom shouldn’t have 2 x single beds in my opinion. if catering for kids then bunks, otherwise a single and trundle, can’t move in there with current configuration. my only criticism.
- Jessy (10/5): Very comfortable, home-like stay. My children (5 and 9) were entertained with movies, cards, books and Monopoly. The nea - It was quiet and and had everything we needed for a short stay. None.

- Tony (10/5): Lovely little cottage completely revamped with modern equipment, perfect for a peaceful stay. - Lovely little old cottage completely revamped with modern equipment and decore. Very clean and tidy. Peaceful outlook into garden and lawn. Uphill stroll to cafes and pubs which is downhill stroll home (big plus). Quaint shops in the township and great view of Megalon Valley at Mount Blackheath. Dont forget to stop at the Logan Brae Orchard for an apple pie. We had a lovely refreshing stay. The cottage is of a time when bedrooms were small, particularly the second bedroom but OK for kids.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Property was beautiful, cozy with many conveniences -
- Rogers (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lemonlulu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (9/5): We would most certainly book this place again, perfect for our needs. - Great little renovated cottage nestled in Blackheath. Hosts were friendly and helpful, but not in your face (like somewhere else I tried to book but it was too much trouble!) Access was easy with door code. Second bedroom was a little small, but as we were the only guests it was no bother. Might be a tight squeeze if you were staying with children. Shower was in the bath, so if you have mobility issues, would be difficult to use, as it was quite a high bath.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Kay (9/5): The perfect cottage in beautiful Blackheath - This little gem of a cottage has it all: classy, modern Reno, great heating, dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer, beautiful natural location in easy walking distance of Blackheath shops. Bedrooms were on the small side but didn’t really worry us as a couple.
- Nicholas (8/5): fantastic- will return - quiet location - bush setting, close to shops all night barking from dogs next door
- Vanessa (10/5): Beautiful get-away retreat with all comforts, great hosts - Had a great breakfast at the local Victory Cafe
