Guest Reviews
- Sharon (10/5): Excellent place to stay — cosy, clean, comfortable, and relaxing! - We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The place was cosy, comfortable, and very well-maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean and neat, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The kitchenette was fully equipped with all the essentials we needed, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
We particularly loved the hot spa provided, which was perfect for soothing our tiredness after a day of exploring the nearby places of interest. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!
- Rob (9/5): Excellent 2 day stay mid-week, very comfy, very convenient as we were moving house. - Huge house and gardens, very quiet even though there were other units in the same space, all the amenities, spa, outdoor settings, great kitchen and dining 2nd Bathroom was a bit dated, and the fan did not work.
- Cox (7/5): While we enjoyed our stay (30th anniversary celebration) we were left wanting in terms value for money and the bedding i - We loved the location and found the property comfortable and well appointed. For us what soured the stay was the main bed. Having a double bed only meant that we really struggled to sleep and ended up in the spare room which weirdly had a queen bed? Also I don’t think the outside area had been swept or cleaned for a while.
- JUNLAN (10/5): -
- David (10/5): fantastic - No Breakfast included. the house was a little out of town so a car would be needed which we had so there was no bother. we were in the spa unit which was lovely. the area was very quiet nil
- Melisa (9/5): A peaceful property filled with everything you need for a relaxing trip - Beautiful location! Not too far from amenities but also extremely quiet which created a peaceful environment. The property was extremely clean and had everything that we needed, including cleaning supplies, cooking spices and laundry pods. Bedding was also very comfy and guaranteed a good night’s sleep. Extra points for the spa, worth every dollar spent! These are just small issues, nothing extremely major that affected our stay.
1. Floors were a little sticky
2. The heating/cooling system in the front bedroom wasn’t really heating up the room but that could be because we weren’t using it properly lol
3. Maybe some instructions on how to use the oven in the kitchen? Took me a while to figure out what each dial was for hehe
- Diana (10/5): Fantastic Dog Friendly Accommodation - The house was equipped with everything our family needed. The dog enjoyed sitting out on the deck as well. Great selection of records , games, and books to keep everyone happy. Nothing

- Chin-lan (9/5): Lovely home away from home weekend! The house was beautifully furnished & well equipped with everything - board game - Spacious & beautifully furnished Nothing
- Donna (9/5): - We found everything was great, I do suggest a property information guide book would have been helpful. The spa from next door very noisy at 6:00 am but that's out of your control.
- Graeme (8/5): - Location Ensuite in one bedroom very small unfortunately
- Amy (10/5): -
- JC (10/5): -
- Bill (10/5): Excellent. Would stay again - Beds were small. In fairness we are accustomed to a king size.
- Jess (10/5): An elegant property, well designed and immaculately decorated. - The property itself was beautifully appointed. We loved the woodfire, the fire pit and the the spa. The house was clean, warm, cosy and perfect for our small family of 3 and our dog. The coffee machine was an added bonus. The shower head in the second bedroom did not appear to be working properly (could have been us!) but being a small family we could all use the shower in the master bedroom.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - The house was lovely, Had everything you need to make it feel like home. For a pet friendly place it was very clean. There's games play to when the weather is bad. Had lots of kitchen and bathroom needs. And not far from shops
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williams (10/5): Comfy.and clean with lot’s of extras like herbs and spices in pantry and welcome wine thank you - Clean tidy and had everything you may have not even thought about well done
- Tony (10/5): Outstanding and welcoming stay. - The East Street Spa House, was not only an exceptional house and layout it was the attention to detail that made our stay exceptional. Even the details of quality glasses and cooking utensils, the welcome pack - it's a complete quality package. We loved everything!
- Julie (9/5): 'We will be back' place. - Lovely house and garden. All well maintained and a lot of attention to detail. Great coffee machine and fridge and beds, towels and outdoor setting were all of a high standard. Great signage and info on how to use the TV as the boys wanted to watch the test. Our friends found the second bathroom a litle hard to get around but that was minor.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Jo (8/5): Very good - East spa house is perfect for 2 couple with plenty of space and lovely interior. The fire pit and wood was an added bonus for us as we had perfect weather to be outside. Linen on beds felt like rubber, outside table had not been cleaned and found the kitchen utensils fairly sparse for someone who likes to cook, a extra T towel would be handy also.
- .alana. (10/5): Perfection! - Most luxurious beautiful relaxing home. Thankyou so much for the welcoming box of goodies, wine & Jazz music as we entered. Bed was devine. Spa just perfect. Cooked breakfast on the fire pit. Will be back. Thankyou! Nothing negative to say
- Abdelaziz (10/5): Exceptional - I recently stayed at the East St Spa House with my family, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thoughtful small gift, setting the tone for an amazing getaway. The location is perfect—set in a lovely area with so many great things to do nearby. The house itself was immaculate, well-designed, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better retreat, and we will definitely be returning
- Candys (9/5): Relaxing comfortable and enjoyed by all. - Clean, well equipped, tasteful decorated. Amazing kitchen gorgeous outdoor. Car charger huge bonus! Hot water amazing and main bedroom bathroom was fantastic. Beds small should have king size. Second bedroom bathroom a bit dark and cramped.
- Natalie (8/5): Very good -
- Royce (10/5): Had a lovely relaxing time with friends at East St Spa House. The house is well appointed with so many extra trimmings. - The fireplace, fire pit & spa
- Janette (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and comfortable house The size of the second bathroom.
- Philippe (10/5): Breath-taking - The place was impeccable.
What a thoughtful Host, gift box with champagne upon arrival, with the heater on and soft music playing in the background.
Stunning decor and spacious rooms.
- Nagy (10/5): Exceptional - Very relaxing, good atmosphere
- Bown (8/5): Very good -
- Hans (10/5): This is the best getaway we've been to so far!! - The photos online didn't do justice to how amazing the place was!! We wanted a relaxing place that was quiet and still enjoyable for the kids - this place was amazing from the moment we walked in! The host was just brilliant. They left chilling music and the heater on, together with a little pack of goodies and a bottle of wine. Can't express how happy we were to have discovered this gem :) NA
- Parris (9/5): Amazing property, would LOVE to come back - Such an amazing property. Almost mind blowing. Felt so lucky to stay there for two nights. There is a serious safety issue. The lights built into the wooden decking outside are blinding when walking down the stairs into the backyard and spa area. As we weren't allowed to have a fire pit during this month, there is no light in the backyard. Completely dark so walking down the stairs is a serious hazard, I tripped a couple of times but glad it was me and not my father in law who is 77! I wouldn't allow him to walk past the top decking due to a falls risk.
This property needs lighting in the garden as its a hazard and a law suit waiting to happen. Also lighting in the spa area.. why have a spa at night in the dark?! Makes no sense.
- Shirit (10/5): A lovely, tranquil, enjoyable, rejuvenating stay! - We all loved the tranquil ambience of the home and gardens. The decor was absolutely perfect for us, creating a beautiful space to fully relax.
the beds were
very comfortable,
the spa was definitely an added bonus that we enjoyed.
And everything we might need was thought of and easily found.
the gourmet box and bottle of wine was a lovely, welcoming and delicious surprise. Our dogs loved the home and gardens also. Absolutely nothing!
- Shirley (7/5): A nice place to stay but I wouldn’t say it was good value for the money. - The house was fabulous inside and had everything we needed for our stay.
Very comfortable lounge/dining area. Tastefully decorated.
Wonderful kitchen. Well stocked.
Good laundry.
The wood fire in the lounge was nice in the evening. The bed in the second bedroom is terrible. The mattress dips in the middle making it very uncomfortable. The bed also squeaks badly affecting sleep.
The outside deck area was quite dirty and looked quite unkempt. Dead pot plants etc.
The spa wasn’t working properly.
Was a wee way out of the township. Not walking distance to the shops.
Windows were quite dirty.
At this price these issues were disappointing.
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Kylie (10/5): Well needed relaxation time with friends. - Beautiful spaces throughout the home, well thought out to bring about a sense of relaxation and calm. It was in quite close proximity to other properties.
- Fritha (5/5): not great value for money - clean, well furnished Hot tub was luke warm so tried it once then not again. This was the main reason for booking the property. Faulty electricity
- Hayley (8/5): Stunning luxurious property. Owners live next door. - The property was just gorgeous! Everything was luxurious and the hosts had thought of every little thing a guest may need! The spa and heaters kept tripping. We read older reviews which also say that was a problem, the spa was the main reason for our stay so we were very disappointed that it malfunctioned despite owners commenting this has been repaired.
The owners live next door to this property and were annoyed with noise in the spa at 7.30pm, they were very rude telling us to ‘get out the back’ when we went out the front to try to fix the tripped switch. Following that incident we felt we were being watched the whole weekend and didn’t enjoy ourselves as much as we would have.
- Sonia (8/5): Comfy place, beautifully decorated with two good size bedrooms and spacious living area. - A lovely spacious unit with two good size bedrooms making it great for two friends to share. It was great to have a log burner as well as other heating and we made the most of the wine and choccies provided too.
