Guest Reviews
- Ian (8/5): cozy cottage good for a couple or a couple of couples - beds were comfortable; property was clean; handy location; minor issue - an extra a/c unit in the living room would be a bonus; due to hot afternoon weather, balcony area was a bit of a no go zone
- Neil (9/5): Loved our short stay very quiet at night - Wifi would have been nice
- Nicole (10/5): Exceeded expectations - Lovely little cottage. Wonderful open fire place and lots of extra little touches that made it very comfortable.
- Shelly (10/5): Comfy, clean and warm!! Quite location. - Loved our stay at The Radford Couples Cottage! Super cosy, clean, and in a great spot. The open fireplace was the highlight — perfect for those cold nights with a wine by the fire 🔥
Such a great little spot for a relaxing couples getaway.

- Julian (8/5): - Beautifully appointed cottage. Quiet location. Friendly hosts.
- Saffron (10/5): Warm, cozy with an excellent bath and fireplace. - The cottage was extremely cozy and we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and we even took dimensions of the bath as I now want the exact same one put in our home. We will use this cottage every time we visit the area. It was perfect. Nothing. Everything was fantastic
- Kerrie (10/5): Very pleasant and relaxing - The property was clean and tidy there was a good supply of firewood and the fireplace was ready and waiting to be lit 🔥 which is welcome after a road trip.
Jen was lovely to chat too and very responsive. NA
- Helen (9/5): -
- Ann (9/5): A comfortable and pleasant place - A cosy historic cottage with two good sized bedrooms. Walking distance to Stanthorpe. A great place to stay when visiting the wineries and so many other places.

A little history to the cottage.
Nice and clean. There are no laundry facilities but it’s not far to the laundromat in town.
- Diane (9/5): Good location; toiletries very nice. - Coziness. Plenty of heating facilities although house was very warm when returning at night. Would have liked a washing machine when staying for more than a weekend.

- PBilz (10/5): Nice little cottage in the centre of town. - Fanstastic little cottage in the centre of Town. It's our second stay here. It's walking distance to town and a great place to bace yourself for a weekend visiting the area. If the air con stops heating, turn it off and back on again outside near the unit. Nothing else to note :)
- Kat (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Nice cottage - House was cosy, nice to have a fire place and air con The lights could be brighter especially in the kitchen, hard to see what I was cooking
- Nathan (9/5): Lovely family getaway. We plan to return again and again - Lovely cottage. Two comfy queen beds, aircon in rooms plus extra heaters if needed. Good kitchen and bathroom. Wonderful open fire in a cosy lounge. Everything was clean and tidy. We had access to a car so drove a short distance into town for an evening meal. Nothing at all. It was old and creaky and a little draughty, but that was all part of the attraction of the place. So no complaints from us.
- Garry (9/5): Lovely cottage, great fire place -

We could not fault the house. And that fireplace!!!!!!! Was absolutely magnificent for the -3deg mornings. Plenty of firewood on hand. Easy access to it.
- Mary-anne (9/5): A magical little cottage perfect for couples. - The only thing we found to be needing a review was the bed - really hard and the pillows quite flat. this can be a very personal thing but otherwise we just loved it.

Shame we didn't get to use the fireplace as it wasn't cool enough yet but did make great use of the bathtub. Bed was comfortable and clean. Would definitely book this again. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay.
- Kim (8/5): Very good - It was in a great location within an easy walk to the town. It is a charming cottage that has every thin you need for your stay. It has ben well looked after and is lovely. Because the weather was so bad it would have made it easier if the dwelling had a path to the door as it was very wet and because we had been travelling I was hoping to do some washing but there was no laundry facilities which I was unaware of. Anyway these are only small inconveniences.
- Vaughan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Browne (8/5): Very good - Open fire and lovely hot bath.
- Diane (9/5): Great spot close the town and very comfortable - Loved the bath robes
- Janice (6/5): Pleasant - We found the smell of old fire smoke very overwhelming in the lounge and bedroom off the lounge so we had to use the second bedroom as well.My husband needs to get up a lot in the night so that bed was not good for both of us. I am not writing this comment to be public. It was just not for us
- Emily (8/5): Homely place to stay - Cute character of the place in a good location to town. One bathroom
- Trisha (10/5): A magical getaway to relax the senses. Perfect in every way. Just wish I had more time to enjoy there. I’ll be back 🥰 - Location was perfect, so close to everything.
The cottage may not look much from the outside but upon entering the whole world disappears. The aroma of the remains of a wood fire along with the superb decor makes for the most relaxing step back in time moment.
Plenty of books, games, DVD’s if wanting something to do.
The lightings and fixtures are beautiful.
The bathroom was a wow factor with the black and white theme and old bath tub.
Loved everything about it xxx There is nothing I didn’t like
- Anne-elise (10/5): Gorgeous cabin for a couple's weekend. - It was lovely to see so many original parts, and the cottage is in excellent condition.
We loved the location, and the little sitting room was lovely to recuperate at the end of the day. If you're not a fan of super soft pillows I'd definitely recommend bringing your own. I missed my memory foam pillow for the weekend. But otherwise absolutely cannot fault anything.

- Jim (9/5): Superb - Lovely historic cottage, sympathically modernised inside. I really liked the detailed instructions on using the fireplace, even though I'm reasonably familiar with how to light a fire. Also really liked the supply of some consumables like olive oil, salt and pepper, tea etc, and had we known beforehand it would have saved us bringing them. Nothing, it's really nice.

Cosy cute cottage Needs a blind on bathroom window

- Dianne (9/5): We loved that we got to see and appreciate some of the talent-food-wine-crafts in rural Australia - Lovely comfy bed and lounges. Beautiful bathroom (grab rail for extra stability to get into bath/shower would be appreciated by most oldies). Say no more…open fire, heaps of firewood…fabulous! Need to cook? everything there. We chillaxed with 3 different movies, loved it. Nothing
- Ian (7/5): Good -
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrie (9/5): Wonderful stay would definitely book again - Communication from host was excellent and keys easy to access This is a first world problem so not really relevant but the only thing which would top the stay would be a coffee machine ☺️
- Amy (10/5): Loved it. Would stay again. - Quaint little cottage.
Nicely decorated and well equipped.
Nice easy walk to town.
- Mary (7/5): Spacious and well appointed - 12 minute walk to town. Well appointed with good amenities Noisy- as right on the highway. No internet- although this was stated on booking.com
- Monique (10/5): Wonderful little cottage - Wonderful place to stay. Very clean, close to town. And the hosts were very helpful and informative. We will definitely come and stay here again - Cheers Michael and Ana Nothing. Couldn't fault it.
- Erle (9/5): Convenient, comfortable, a house full of character yet renovated inside for today's expectations. - Location was close to town - walking distance. Yet it was quiet. A real country town atmosphere. Off-street parking, wood cut and nicely stacked for the fireplace in winter. Big sky at night from the yard. Wi-fi reception perhaps ... but that seems to be part and parcel of Stanthorpe itself.
- Allysha (10/5): Exactly what we needed - Location and very neat and tidy - 10minutes walk into town -I really liked how the modern facilities still emulated its age Nothing everything was great
- Sim0ns (5/5): Passable - Comfortable bed and lounge Shower over bath is dangerous for older people light in kit Chen dim used tea towels in kitchen outside paintshabby⁴
