Guest Reviews
- Callum (10/5): - Comfy beds & electric blanket made for a cosy sleep
- John (3/5): Good bones but needs TLC - This is a property that is crying out for some TLC. The bones are there BUT it is the little things that led down.
To list just a few things: cleanliness of kitchen was at best questionable, back screen door did not latch and banged in the breeze (scared the b’jesus out of us until we worked out what it was), back door wouldn’t open fully (bottom needs planing) along with several other doors sticking, washing machine not working, most taps had to be screwed off really hard (need new washers), gates had to be dragged/lugged shut to secure yard for dog. And so it goes on.
- RoyalRoo (5/5): This is a nice old time cottage that needs a bit of care and money spent… could be amazing - I liked the front room which appeared made over. We didn’t use it but it did show what the rooms could scrub up to-however the curtains in that room are badly in need of replacing … Didn’t like how so many easily fixed small things were not attended to. The house is in desperate need of some loving in the form of fixed hinges in wardrobe doors -completed shelving above the desk in one room and on and on with just general attention that would work wonders. The lounge seats are far too long past their use by date ..the dining chairs like sitting on rocks. Generally little comfort but the beds were ok. The bathroom fittings need attention and probably a good makeover with replacing the shower head and fixing the screen door a good start. The bath is too old to be enticing.
The electric jug in the kitchen needs replacing
- Scott (9/5): Terrific cottage. Highly recommended - A lovely cottage, well located and spotlessly clean. Perfect for dogs as the yard is fully contained. Nothing

- Don (8/5): Top spot when visiting for the Tumbarumba Rodeo! - Location, presentation and cleanliness. Laundry appliances need repair/ replacement. Bathroom is a little tired.
- Patricia (8/5): - Exactly what we needed for a short stay. Nothing
- Ricky (9/5): Comfy place for short stay. - Location was way different where we came from, paddock next to property gives us calm feeling. Heating was already on before we get there that was really great. 1 hour drive to snowy which was nice travel throughout but no phone coverage so have to follow sign on the way back which was not too bad until the reception comes back. Really had great relaxing couple of days. Tips: No wifi but TV is compatible for hotspot. Recommended to my friends too. For dish washing sponge would have been better then brush for better cleaning. Other than that all good and comfy place to stay. Will book it again in future.

- Marg (7/5): Good - We had a relaxing stay at Acacia Cottage. Comfy beds, lots of space and pleasant surroundings. Nice to have a small carton of milk in the fridge. Thank you. Would have liked some essentials available in the house. For example salt, pepper, oil etc. Also, we could not get the hotplate to work. Maybe this was a simple fix with a switch we didn't find.
- Poly (7/5): Good - Great position, very clean Couldn't shut the gate for the dogs!!
We could only open one
Window
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Annette (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (10/5): great stay enjoyed it - very sweet cosy cottage
had everything you need for a family get away. the kids wanted internet
maybe updates kettle and toaster
that's its.
- Alison (6/5): Cottage accomodation - Big grassy yard, undercover parking, spacious house and veranda Given private feedback to hosts on some things that need addressing
- Kym (9/5): Superb - Cute convenient little cottage
- Cathryn (7/5): Perfect cottage in a great location. Quiet clean - Really comfortable with everything you could need Shower head needs replacing
- Rodney (7/5): A nice stay in an older property but it serviced all our needs contributing to a lovely long weekend - Location was fine, the house had all the space we needed The light in the bathroom was not there. Bedside table lamp shorted out. No firewood
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Gill (9/5): Superb -
- Marion (4/5): We were in Tumbarumba for a wedding so the accommodation served a purpose. - Beds were comfortable & linen clean. The outside of the lino in the bathroom had lifted so can't have been clean.
The floor of the house needs restumping, it's so uneven I felt like I had vertigo.
The house is outdated.
I thought a continental breakfast would have been provided.
- Samson (9/5): Superb - Needed Wifi as there is no phone reception.
