Guest Reviews
- elaine and abraham (10/5): Relaxing, calm, perfect location - In front of the lake, quiet area, relaxing, beautiful surrounds. Host was friendly, easy to chat with and accomodating with requests =)
- Bijaya (9/5): -

- Williams (7/5): -
- Mark (6/5): It was nice maybe some more attention to detail from the host would make this stay great - Lovely view, peaceful The BBQ was out of gas texted the host no response, tried to use a table top cooker inside it barely worked and the other was broken, so that was disappointing, water pressure was also an issue.
- Hayley (5/5): - The tiny cabin was nice and the lake was nice The property was very run down, lots of blackberry bushes
- Naveen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (1/5): Dirty and a waste of money - Nothing I am extremely disappointed with the state of the accommodation. This service failed to meet consumer guarantees as per the ACCC. When we arrived we were expecting a private entrance as listed in the booking description, however the entrance is shared with 3 other tiny homes/a house boat. The accommodation was not private we have the owners family walking past constantly, being able to watch us whenever we were outside of the home. The family was often hunting metres away from the home so we had to listen to loud gun shots while trying to relax.
The accommodation itself wasn’t clean at all, dirty sheets were thrown in the cupboards, all pots, pans, cooking utensils and cook tops were filthy and covered in oil from previous guests. The box of tea was empty, every shelf was covered in dirt and dead bugs. The dog kennel was unusable as it was completely covered in spider webs, dirt, spiders and more. The kettle still had water in it from previous guests. The water out of the tap was not drinkable and from a large tank, it was not disclosed that we wouldn’t have suitable drinking water so we went without water until the following day when we could buy some from a nearby shop. The firepit was full of leftover ash/rocks and unusable as it was cause an ash cloud and it was so full the fire would not stay lit. The ground was covered in old cigarette butts which my dog would continue to try and eat. The blinds and couch were completely covered in stains. The couch was broken and had sharp nails sticking out of the arm rest. The “winery” is basically a rubbish tip and isn’t a winery at all.
After raising this with the host via booking.com the accommodation “contact the host” and refunded us $150 from our total cost of $769
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - location was perfect The confusion about the dog being allowed inside the property, as there was a comment in the question section saying there is a dog kennel outside and then other areas of the listing saying he can stay inside. Other than that its perfect.
- Ashlea (5/5): Fine but we had to leave due to no water connected - Mattress was fine and the tiny house setup No water was connected due to issues with pump being broken
- Bianca-jayne (8/5): Very good -
- Damien (7/5): Good -
- Dmitrei (8/5): Very good - Tiny house was clean and right beside the lake. Had all the equipment we needed. Don’t have any activities to do. Boats were not available
- Chantel (6/5): Quiet, peaceful, great veiw of the lake. House set up well but house and property needs a clean up. - Location was very peaceful, was great to look out at the lake. Tiny home had what we needed and was set up well. Good heating. Comfortable and great style to the house. The cleanliness of the tiny home. Lots of spider webs on the inner roof with eggs?. Couch that was used as a fold out bed had alot of marks and stains. Nice little house but needs a good deep clean.
Lake was great but winery and rest of the property needed a big clean up. Maybe was a winery before we stayed but just over grown with alot random things around. Needs alot more love and kind of expected a nice winery as stated in the name. Let down by the surroundings.
- Leonie (1/5): Unfortunate - Nothing Unclean from previous guests.
Not as picture depicts.
Unable to stay.
Full refund was issued
- Julie (4/5): overall ok stay but could be improved with some love on the property - the house itself was ok and functional. you do get the tiny house experience. the view of the lake was stunning and the outdoor setting and fire pit a nice touch. the host was on site and offered to teach us how to fish. the house wasn't clean enough with spider web on the roof - the couch was dirty and the surrounding of the house full of garbage stuff that should be removed or put out of sight. the winery isn't one. it is deserted wines that haven't been taken care of and are dying.
- Jasper (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yen (7/5): Nice, clean and good environment but tree brunches need to tidy and clean up. - Quiet and peace. Very relaxing place Too much tree brunches, need to be cut as it scratch the car and the unit number need to put more clearly so that it will be easy to find.
- Vanessa (7/5): Its a step up from glamping experience. - Nice tiny house. Clean bedsheets, comfortable pillows, spacious shower and toilet. I love that it’s in front of a lake and you can easily create a bon fire. It’s not well looked after. The water is not clean, its not potable.
The grasses around the area are over grown.
Needs a lot of maintenance - the gate and the bridge might fall off soon.
- Jenny (7/5): The location was lovely, the host responsive and helpful, but the property needs TLC. - The lake was lovely , and with the hill behind the house it felt very secluded. Attention to detail inside the house was disappointing. the property was in need of TLC
- Heidi (7/5): Nice spot, a few touches to the home would be useful to make it great - Beautiful spot, quiet Linen smelt of fire smoke; disappointing that pet policy wasn’t evident before booking and kennel not fit for use.
- Yash (6/5): Pleasant - The location was nice, next to the lake. Access was straightforward. It was good to see alpacas on the property. While the house itself was okay, the rest of the property appeared to not be well maintained - winery seemed non-functioning, stagnant dirty water in defunct paddle boats around, apparent scrap material lying around etc. The mattress had sand in it which kept coming off as we dusted off, blankets didn't appear properly cleaned.
- Fernandes (8/5): Refreshing - Tranquillity of the lake. Bird song and gentle winds through the trees. The little things are greatly appreciated when surrounded by nature.
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashwinnarayanan (7/5): It was an interesting stay and though tiny we were pretty comfortable - Quiet setting but really not much else to do The quiet setting snd back drop of lake
- Clydell (8/5): Very good -
- Maddy (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- Carly (9/5): Superb -
- Remus (8/5): Very good - Great view, nice lake. We enjoyed fishing, paddleing the canoe. The camp fire while watching the sunset was amazing. We could not sleep, the noise from the tree brunches hitting the cabin kept us awake.
Place could use a bit of a clean as well.
- Xin (8/5): Everything is ok, just need some more attention on cleanliness - environment cleanliness
- Monica (8/5): Very good -
- Claudia (9/5): Relaxing stay - Loved having the lake to ourself. There were a lot of fish in the lake to. Also loved its pet friendly. Very relaxing and could kayak and swim in the lake to! Didn't like that the dog kennel outside the tiny house had red backs and lots of spider webs 😪
- Xin (9/5): Superb -
- Manuranga (8/5): Very good -
- Michele (1/5): Bad -
- Aycan (9/5): Beautiful place with excellent view and calming vibe to the whole stay. - The property was sitting on a very scenic piece of land directly infront of the lake. It had seating, a table and a fireplace ready to go at all times looking right at the lake. Inside was a very nice place to stay. Upstairs was super comfortable and an experience that I would recommend to all. It had everything you need basically in arms reach. Also keep in mind it’s a short drive to the town nearby that has everything you would need! At first glance the place looked immaculate but the longer we stayed and looked around we realised that it could of done with a little bit more of a clean. Still very tidy and clean but some areas we think had to be focused on a little more!
- Sara (8/5): Very good -
