• Stephanie (4/5): Lovely home, lots of space, great activities and games for families, needs a good clean and plunger. - Beautiful home, set up with great facilities and lots of family fun activities. It is very spacious, small but good view of the beach from the kitchen table and the home is in a nice quiet court. Great location to beach and local shops. For the fussy readers, it needs a good clean, cobwebs in many areas of the home (especially behind beds). No air con downstairs so rooms were stuffy, and shower drains both upstairs and downstairs don’t drain well at all and you end up in a pool of water, so keep the shower short! Otherwise home is fantastic :)

• Gwendhaene (8/5): really great but let down by poor cleaning and maintenance - beautiful and perfectly located house. great space and amenities. very peaceful and perfect to enjoy Apollo Bay which town centre is a short stroll away cleaners really need to up their game. black marks on all walls, cobwebs and dust inside the house and on the balcony, as well as dirty bbq...and the lovely kid's cabin out is revoltingly dirty. getting access is stressful: you get a message telling you that you'll get the code to the key box at a defined time. of course it doesn't happen. you have to call. then you get it. and it's not the key box code as specified in writing but the lock pad code to open the house!! finally there is an urgent need to empty the overflowing bins outside. it's a bike view but also it makes it difficult to dispose of refuse if everything is already full. oh last tip: having an espresso machine with pods is brilliant. pity it's not a Nespresso which works with all sorts of pods available in the surrounding supermarkets and grocery stores. the Aldi one works with Aldi pods. there is no Aldi in Apollo Bay!!! a beautiful house but a few things could make the stay much more enjoyable

There are many amenities, including table tennis, air hockey, table football, video games, and a variety of books and toys for children. My kids absolutely love it. Some of the bed sheets are not clean enough.

• Jude (8/5): Great property in a fantastic location - Great size property for 5 adults to have their own space, really good facilities including table tennis set up in the garage, everything you need to self cater and easy parking for two cars off road. Comfy beds, crisp sheets and plenty of towels for everyone. It was an easy 10 minute walk to Apollo Bay’s shops, cafes, restaurants and less than 5 minutes to the beautiful beach. The location was fabulous for exploring the Great Ocean Road and all it has to offer. When we arrived the balcony area was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned for some time, the showers drained very slowly which resulted in flooded floor space and the walk in wardrobe was full of clutter. Although on the surface the property appeared clean it was soon apparent that a deeper clean was needed for guests. However, this did not impact our holiday and I am sure as the season progresses these issues will be resolved as it is a lovely property.

• Karen (8/5): Overall stay is great - Complete items in the kitchen plus more games facilities available. Space and bedrooms are more than enough. It should be great if the little house in the backyard, outdoor tables and chairs are also cleaned and maintained.
• Nikki (7/5): Good - We had a party of 10. House was a great size, central to local shops and beach. Fully fenced, secure yard. Loved all the board and card games, movies, xbox, air hockey, ping pong and foos ball. The fire pit was great. Enough chairs and tables upstairs and in the garden. Free wi-fi is great. Two lounge areas to spread out in and a kitchen/ dining area big enough for a crowd. Plenty of blankets, towels and fully equipped kitchen including air fryer, toaster, sandwich press, various pots, all in good order. Warm and comfortable. Whilst all the areas we could see were very clean and well presented, when we looked for plugs we found quite a lot of dust on skirting boards. Also it was advertised as supplying wood for fire pit but there was none. Neither of these things was an issue that would stop me from booking again.
