• Viktoriia (1/5): Do not book this property!!!! - The property in well location , but very outdated , with black mould on the walls and blocked sink , the neighbours are so loud and you can hear them because of the broken /crack on the wall We contacted property /_and didn’t get any response , bookings support wasn’t helpful at all as well .

The water pressure is very good with hot and cold water. Good for short stay. Easy access to interlaken west by train or bus. The place is quite dated.

El anfitrión ni me dijo como ni nada ni me contestó hasta que ya a las 17.30 se puso en contacto. Al día siguiente le escribí que no había luz en una habitación ni jabón ni gel, faltaban toallas, había hormigas por la casa, las persianas rotas, solo había vasos para 3, nos encontramos con calcetines usados en una cama, lentillas azules en el baño.

Leider ging die Heizung nicht … wir hatten alle nasse Klamotten vom Skifahren und man konnte nichts trocknen. Auch auf Nachfrage, kam keine Antwort. Es hat Schimmel an den Wänden & das Bad war auch nicht sehr sauber.

Ah, so many things. 1) as soon as you enter, the smell of mosquito spray welcomes you. 2) Bathroom sensor light turns off every 20 secs, you need to wave to make it on again. 3) No bin in the room, no slippers 4) Torn bedsheets 5) You could hear people talking in other rooms. 6) Communication with owner was strictly limited. Only basic checkin/checkout instructions sent, besides that no question answered.

• Aniello (2/5): Total waste of money! Terrible experience! - Notting I absolutely do not recommend this apartment! I paid a ridiculous amount of money for a place that was honestly disgusting. Dirty, poorly maintained, and the heating didn’t even work — in Switzerland, where it’s freezing! The photos online are completely misleading; nothing looks like what you actually get. I felt completely scammed. One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this place at all costs!

• MST UMME (8/5): I am quite happy with the overall stay. I would give them 4 out of 5 easily. Good place to stay with family. I would def - Good location, 4 minutes walk from station and shops. Quite street. Clean room, bathroom and kitchen with all the utensils and amenities needed. Really old duvet cover with broken zip. It was clean but so old, they should definitely change it. When you pay that much for a room, I would definitely expect a presentable duvet cover at least. Also There’s a closed door in between our apartment and the next one on the same level. The sound proofing was so bad because of that. My 4 years old woke up 6 am in the morning both days due to the noise from the other apartment( they went out super early in the morning and very loud as well). But if it was a wall not that door, I am sure the noise would be muffled and he won’t wake up.

• Brian Harden (1/5): Recommend removing this property from your list until issues listed above are addressed. - Location was the best part of staying at this property. Everything else was not good. House smelled moldy even though there seemed to be an attempt to clean it before arrival. Utensils were sparse...no spatula. Cabinets and shelves were dirty. No place to dump trash once full. Texted property owners about this but no response. Set trash out in the common hall. Somebody threw it away but not sure who or where. Bed sheets were worn with holes in them. Only one room had a fan in it. No cover panel on the flush buttons above the toilets. This place was NOT clean, did not smell clean, and did not look clean.

Quiet wee spot with good views Enjoyed the on the lake experience, buy your ticket on the boat includes both lakes if you have the time. A must do ui the St Beatus caves. No plugs in any sinks, dishwasher disabled, can't get into freezer, mattress uncomfortable, mould in bathroom, electrical plugs unsafe in that they are loose. Could do with more coffee cups and cooking utensils.

• Deepika (1/5): Do not book this property - Location is close to the west train station. DO NOT BOOK THIS, IF YOU WANT PEACEFUL STAY !! Any self checkin details were not shared in advance. So it was expected that someone will be at the property to handover the keys to the guests, which was actually not the case. The caretaker/owner was very aggressive, disrespectful, threatening and not ready to listen. My family suffered immense stress and trauma. The room was very small and nothing close to what was shown while booking. There are partion doors to the neighbouring flat and will hear noises from the common door.

The building is old, wooden walls are thin and you can hear everything behind the wall... We had a group of very loud Chinese girls in the room next to us, it was difficult to sleep. The kitchen is separated and there is no heating there, so it feels like outside (it's December now). You have to leave the warm room and cook in cold.

• Lee (1/5): Cold and no answer - Location The accommodation was unclean (the towels provided were dirty and had hair in them), and although it was a cold 4 degrees outside, they provided a thin blanket and the heater did not work. I contacted the owner about the heater issue, but he never contacted me. I could not sleep because it was too cold (I was sure I would catch the flu if I slept), so I only stayed one day out of a two-day reservation and left. If you stay here, be careful. You will need a sleeping bag for camping.

We were able to make breakfast everyday morning. The stay was peaceful No Internet. No television. Near to the train station and bus, the down town city, restaurant, the Aare river, park, and all the beautiful places 'must to see'. 2nd, The bedroom is clean! 3rd, The kitchen is clean! 4th, The price of the rent is reasonable. I'm sadly to say that this apartment is not recommended for family!! :( 1st, the apartment is on the top of the house. without lift, we hardly brought our luggages by the stairs to the 4th floor! 2nd, In the apps, apartment facilities mention has heater but unfortunately the heater is not working, so, my senior age mother felt cold at night.Already asked this problem to the house organizer but they ignored my chatt. 3rd, the bathroom is dark. 4th, the ceiling has water leak!! The day before we check out, water coming from the ceiling around the aisle. It was really disappointed. 5th, just got 1 roll toilet paper for 3 night stay and we are 6 person. I suggested the owner/property organizer will take the rental business seriously,,because they property have a good location!

• Philip (8/5): Nice room and good location - A big room with comfy beds - located just 3 minutes away from Interlaken West Station. The kitchen is small but functional and the bathroom is fine - with a big shower. The hosts were very difficult to contact, and we only got the instructions on the key box after 3 calls ( all refused ) a whatsapp message, and email, and eventually a SMS. The room was cold - it was 6C outside and no heating, so we put the oven on and opened the door .... good old trick to know.

• Sonaali (4/5): Disappointing - The location was very good, very convenient to get to train station from there. There were grocery stores nearby. The cleaning maam was very helpful. There wasnt any lift, so taking the inexpensive room at the top was very troublesome. We had to take the luggage up, especially with senior citizens in the group. The wifi was not strong, and barely uptill our room's door. The kitchen utensils were not in great shape, few broken. One easy thing to improve would be to add hooks outside the bathing area, as it was tough to put clothes outside. The most troublesome issue was that there was absolutely no communication possible with the property. We wwanted to ask for modifications, keeping our luggage, about check in. But no one was responsive, they only messaged on whatsapp finally on the day of the check in. Would have appreciated some help and/or responsiveness.

Better if you can seal the noice coming areas because we could not sleep since the person in the other room was coughing all night. They didnt share any details of the apartment with us. When we reached there we tried to contact the host on the mobile number shared however no one received our call. The pin code shared during our booking to put in the keybox was wrong. We tried several ways to reach to the host however with no luck. We asked the neighbours to help us and they were able to contact the host and get us the key. The apartment is in bad condition. Not at all kid friendly. Except the location nothing else is good about this apartment. Absolutely hated it
• N (1/5): Bad - Wasted all day waiting for the door number and key despite numerous messages using international data phone calls. When they replied it was 6:38 pm the kids were exhausted. Shocked. 1: top floor not good with infants 2: no toilet roll and hand wash have to look for shops at 7:30pm to buy one. 3: just salt in the kitchen nothing else 4: toilet door no locking 5: no washing liquid 6: no wifi or very little connectivity I have to use my international date. 7: I 5 days they didnt provide us new covers or towels. 8: one plug was broken health and safty if you are with kids. I will recommend paying a bit extra on some other property as at the end will cost you more here. All other places I am sure have some basic stuff in their kitchen or at least good wifi.
• Carey (1/5): It was hell, DO NOT STAY HERE. - Nothing except the view out the window. Everything. DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish I had read the reviews and I want my money back. We had no idea how to check in so I tried to call and message the host on WhatsApp as they requested. All day they consistently rejected my calls and sometimes answered some messages after 30 minutes with incoherent couple of words. After hours on the street we eventually checked in at 4pm to find the apartment hadn’t been cleaned so we had to leave and come back later. We should have run and never returned. Shower and bathroom roof is mouldy. Towels are threadbare and scratchy just like the toilet paper. The cheapest I’ve ever seen. Shower curtain is filthy and the roof is too low to stand properly. There was no sofa as promised. Kitchen seating is broken. No plug for kitchen sink! How do we wash dishes? Not in the dishwasher because that’s just an empty space! Maybe you’re supposed to use it for storage! Double bed had a single doona (quilt) and the pillows were horrendous makeshift concrete blocks. When we finally went bed, exhausted by our harrowing ordeal, we heard a strange man laughing, burping and eating chips. We thought he was in our room but it turns out he was in the next apartment watching TikTok videos. Creepy! Hopefully you read the reviews before you hand over any money. You’ve been warned!

Wired layout, loft apartment. Not suitable for American Families. very low ceiling as it is an attic. Dirty furnitures. Pictures in Bookings.com are misleading, there were no shower curtains. No privacy at all.

• Santos (3/5): Poor - The location of the place is near the central station. 1. There is no internet service. We need to find the nearest Coop to connect to the internet. Wifi is essential these days for navigation and for being able to communicate without a cost. I had to pay extra this month to my mobile service because we need to contact the owner using my own mobile data. 2. Because sadly the owner don‘t know how to communicate. We arrived in the area with no instructions on how to find the keys or with whom to talk to, we need to call the owner‘s personal number many times. They did not answer our calls instead they sent us a simple message on where to find the keys. 3. For the first two nights someone was trying to enter the house in the middle of night. someone was trying to open the door with their keys and then when that didn’t work they knocked for a while. Thank God we locked our doors and put a chair below the knobs. We were so scared. When we tried to inform the owner we got no response, also informed Customer service in Booking.com but to no avail. I hope this review will FINALLY get their attention.
• Brian (6/5): Nice location, rough experience, nobody onsite to talk with. - It was walking distance to the train station and food/shops. The checkin was the shadiest experience I’ve ever had checking in. I arrived at the hotel with my daughters. There was nobody onsite to check us in. We were not properly prepped with unit # and we were given an incorrect key code. We actually had to go from room to room (6 rooms on 3 floors) and tried the key code at each one. Most people live there so it was super uncomfortable. I tried to call over and over with no response. After 20 min, I got a text back with the info to checkin. Who did I communicate with? I have no idea. Also, the pillows sucked and the walls were super thin so it sounded like neighbors were in the same room as us.
• Murphy (7/5): Would stay again, just don’t expect to have wifi. - Great location, comfy beds, easy to get keys even though the host doesn’t respond quickly. They WiFi didn’t work which was a bummer. Some of the reviews said they did have hot water but we did and it was great.
