Three-Bedroom Townhouse

- Maria (7/5): Very dissapointing as the place was not clean⁹ - The house is lovely, modern and well equipped. There is a lot of traffic noise in two bedrooms facing the back as the house is located close to the main street of the suburb and the large roundebout.
On our arrival the floors were dusty and dirty/sticky in some places, bottoms of the shower glass and bottom tiles as well as some tiled walls in the bathrooms were dirty, kitchen required wipe down as there were stains on most of the cupboards. Convection oven and the traditional oven had internal walls covered in baked on fat. Coffee table in the lounge room was sticky and a strange grey colour. After we scrubbed it several times the colour changed to light wood.
Since we arrived late on Saturday, in order to be able to stay (we are both allergic to dust and were sneezing constantly) we vaccummed and mopped all floors.
We provided photos to Noosa Holiday Rentals on Monday morning. The immediate comment from the person we spoke to was "This is discusting, you should be compensated." After numerous phone calls a cleaner was sent but she was unable to clean as she had no products strong enough with her. Another two cleaners were sent the following day.
We were staying for four weeks and therefore were entitled to three mid stay services. However, that only happened after we complained as no services were booked with Moxie, the cleaning agency.
Mid stay services were poor and left us with no choice but to vacuum ourselves again. Each vacuum resulted with vacuum cleaner being full of dust. Again photos were provided to Noosa Holiday Rentals.
We requested a compensation and finally after four weeks a compensation of equivalent of the cost of one night was offered.
We have reluctantly accepted but we do feel that not only this does not compensate for the stress and time we spent on phone calls, being on hold, talking to numerous people and cleaning ourselves, but so far we have not received any compensation what so ever.
- Kathryn (10/5): Fantastic accomodation with amazing views. Close to shops and main sights yet quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. - Everything you would need is included in townhouse. Clean, new and beautifully styled. Everything was perfect. Couldn’t fault.
