Guest Reviews
- Gail (9/5): Superb - Great facilities, cupboards stocked with everything needed for cooking for the family. Gorgeous location.
- Gordon (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (8/5): Bit worn but fine for a family stay - Good location Minor issues such as door on shower not closing,
Light not working in back bedroom, general wear and tear in rooms - nothing major
- Waring (6/5): Pleasant -
- Reno (4/5): Disappointed as the place has obviously been left to run down - Great apartment space and amenities provided -
easy walk to town, even easier access to beach Apartment poorly maintained with notable dust and cobwebs throughout numerous rooms, no locks on toilet or bathroom doors, shower door unable to be closed properly allowing water to escape onto bathroom floor, old couches / sofas that were extremely uncomfortable and the BBQ with no gas bottle that hadn't been used in so long evidenced by the amount of rust on the cooking plate and especially the legs of the trolley were rusted through and collapsed when shifted. Both wooden verandahs and associated wooden outdoor furniture were very aged and weathered and not really conducive to outside sitting / dining
- Robyn (8/5): Great location - Easy walk to town centre. Bunk beds were not comfortable.
- Carol (10/5): We all had a wonderful time and the excellence of the property enhanced that. - Elizas was a wonderful property, very clean and the position was exceptional, very close to Eastern Beach and township we could walk everywhere. An extremely comfortable stay for 4 adults we would definitely come back again. There was a bit of leakage from the shower door.
- Jenny (7/5): Great location - Location and the size was good for us. The dishwasher was almost impossible to work out. We found the instructions but they didn’t really help. The oven was a bit the same. Would also be handy to have some instructions for the front loader just taped to the wall in the laundry for those of us who don’t use a front loader. The guest book is very out of date and mentions events from 2006! There were no spare blankets and our doonas were not warm enough. We ended up having to use our bath towels for extra warmth.
I received an email on the morning of our check in asking for a photo of my ID and when I sent that I received a reply saying that it had to be reviewed by the office staff and then I would receive details on how to check in. I kept checking for that email which I never received. I eventually had to call the office at about 4 that afternoon and was told I was sent the details 3 days prior. This email had gone into my junk email so I was able to locate it but my point is, why send an email telling me to wait for further instructions?
