Guest Reviews
- Patricia (10/5): -
- WindMills2.0 (9/5): Happy little weekend house - Quaint historic cottage, with modern annexe. Loved the art and antique map, photos and embroidery on the walls; felt like we were visiting a tiny house museum. Bed in the inner room was fairly comfy, although after two nights we did start missing our own. Good little kitchen for putting together drinks and snacks. Kettle needs to be replaced.
- Beryl (9/5): Memorable - Beautiful old building furnished with lovely antiques.
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Beds. Size. Comfort. Linen.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very restful and we would have liked to stay longer. - Very quiet location but walking distance to shops etc. Well equipped kitchen which we appreciated. A personal choice for us but a roll of paper towel and a salad spinner in the kitchen would have been handy. For those of us not familiar with the 4 rubbish bin system, a paper copy (perhaps laminated?) of your slide information would have been very useful - instead of checking in with the QR code whenever we had a question!
- Laurie (10/5): Fantastic all round -
- Latty (6/5): Otherwise good. - Great location, quiet, comfortable BUT !! Stay was spoilt by no key to front door, side door has bad leaking gutter that soaks the entrance mat, hence dirty footprints on opening door. NO mat supplied inside. Key safe was totally unreadable and so old it was corroded. There needs to be a sensor light at the side of the property as it is the only entrance and is pitch black at night. Someone will some day break their neck ! Silly but stupid fixes !!!
- Simon (9/5): Everywhere you look is as pretty as a postcard. - Old world charm that you only really find in Europe. We are charmed by Port Fairy's vibe, waterfront, architecture, history and hospitality, every time we visit.
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (8/5): Charming cottage, well presented, terrific location near the main street of Port Fairy - Relatively simple a few gates to navigate but it was OK
- Kara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqui (10/5): so relaxing and inviting - walking distance to everything, old world charm very cosy nothing
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosemary (9/5): Superb -
- Louis (6/5): Pleasant - We like about the serenity and vintage home living. Nice area and it is close to port fairy and warrnambool town centre. 1) Although it was said no internet will be provided but we still think it is good to include this in the package as we may still work remotely etc.
2) The water taste funny. May need filter.
3) canola oil(spray) is no way to be found even though it was said the spray will be provided.
- Sue (6/5): Quaint township - Great location Key safe was difficult to open/close, numbers were hard to read even in daylight with mobile phone torch. Needs replacing as sea air possibly has compromised the outer shell.
Having a separate toilet from the bathroom does not qualify as accommodation advertised as two bathrooms! This is misleading.
