Guest Reviews
- Brianna- lee (10/5): -
- Nicolette (10/5): Warm and lovely hospitality from Victoria & Richard! - Accessible from the main road, easily accessible to the north west region of Tassie, plenty of parking space, clean, well-equipped, comfortable, beautiful garden to enjoy
- David (7/5): Good -
- Ben (10/5): It's a great place to stay. - The lock box code was provided well in advance (although by chance I received the keys in person when I arrived).
The owners live next door, and are very friendly. The cottage is very cosy, has character, is in very good condition and is very well equipped and designed. The property backs on to a river, and has stunning views when the tide is in (when the tide is out one gets a great view of mudflats). The free WiFi was also good. There was a welcome plate of cheese, pate and biscuits that was wonderful. The cottage is right next to a highway that is used by quite a few trucks, but I only found that to be a problem between about 5.00 a.m. and 7.00 a.m.. The bedrooms are fairly small.
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - So homely. Lovely nibbles in the fridge to enjoy when we got there. The trucks on the road making noise. We understand.
- Jannine (10/5): Mini Easter Getaway - It was relaxing and had all that we needed to enjoy a small getaway.
- Angie (7/5): Good - Cute place Very noisy from the road
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - This was a homely cosy cabin, will equipped with homely touches throughout. Great space for us and our two kids.
- Nino (7/5): Pleasant coastal stay. - Comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for a two night stay, including everything for cooking own meals. Complementary platter was appreciated. We liked the estuary out back, good walk at low tide, but sandflies were present and got quite a few bites. Not a big deal. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Nothing.
- Maryanne (10/5): Amazing, beautiful and so peaceful - Everything Nothing
- Theodora (9/5): Superb - Comfortable and homely. Victoria left a lovely plate of cheese and nibbles for us. She is really friendly and ready to help with any inquiries. We loved our stay there. Nothing we didn’t like.

- Lynda (8/5): Great value - Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. House was comfortable, had everything we needed. Great to have the river at the back. Great location for exploring the NW coast. Perhaps a privacy blind on the back glass door would be good.

- Shane (9/5): A very enjoyable stay in a very friendly neighbourhood. We highly recommend to all travellers. - A very clean, comfortable and homely environment. A home away from home within reasonably close proximity to numerous facilities and attractions.
Hosts were so friendly and helpful treated us as long time friends and were so neighbourly and sociable. Could not fault the reception that we received nor the amenities provided.
When our time was up we had to leave for home 😒.
- Debra (9/5): wish we had been able to stay longer than the one night - was a cosy little cottage and would have suited a small family for a quiet getaway near the beach. the floors squeaked
- Alana (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great time at Poss' Place, very comfortable and right by the river with a 15min walk to the beach. A little veggie patch for guests to pick from, we stayed mid Jan and loved picking the fresh strawberries and blueberries. The owners Victoria and Richard made us feel very welcome and are a delight to chat with
- Linda (8/5): Very cosy, a home away from home and handy for day trips - 2 bedrooms, great facilities inc laundry and kayaks. Great location
