• Jonas (7/5): Pour 110chf la nuit dans cette région, il ne fallait pas s'attendre à mieux. Je resterais max 2 nuit - Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement du logement ainsi que la facilité d'accès. De plus il y a des place de parcs disponibles juste devant l'appartement. L'appartement n'est vraiment pas cher pour la région. Il n'y a pas grand choses comme ustensiles de cuisine. Le frigo ne donne pas confiance. La porte d'une des chambres ne se ferme pas et le lit à étage grince. Les lumières ne sont pas très chaleureuses

• Abdul (6/5): - Its almost in cener of interlaken next to stay bus stop car parking is opposite paid parking 7pm to 7am is free Toilet is in ground floor room is in 2nd floor kitchen in 1st floor stairs is a bit scary we need to get use to it. Shower is ok
• Rahel (3/5): Defekt, schmuddelig und gefährlich - Leider ausser der genug grossen Wohnfläche nichts. Vieles war defekt, Kühlschrank, Küchenschränke, Treppengeländer, Hochbett. Zudem war dir Küche schlecht ausgestattet, wenig Töpfe, keine Kaffeelöffel, … und es war gesamthaft unsauber.

• Sirirat (6/5): The accommodation is very old. The toilet won’t flush, and there’s a musty smell of rats. - Chept So dirty The accommodation is not clean at all. Many electrical appliances are broken, the water heater barely works, and the heater doesn’t function. Staying here is very uncomfortable.

Booking.com should hang their head in shame for advertising this place. - Hot water, warm Black mould on ceiling if shower room, no WiFi for most of the time there, no electricity sockets in the bedroom, just one power socket in the kitchen for all the kitchen appliances, hole in sofa - I could go on.
• Zoe (1/5): A terrible stay - do not book this accommodation - The location was the only positive thing about this accommodation. Firstly, this apartment was not on the river as the first photo in the listing insinuates. The apartment had a musky, damp smell throughout and was dirty. The bathroom had black mould growing on the roof and the toilet did not flush. This place definitely didn’t meet health standards. We found multiple insects inside the property. The owner provided a What’s App number to which he never replied to our messages.
• Diwash (2/5): Very poor - Location No proper bed to sleep , dirty and worn out bed. Need to be upgraded. I was not expecting anything fancy, but it is really poor maintained.
• Sara_rf (3/5): Disgusting but the chepeast - The location The flash from the toilet is not working. There's a leak in the toilet. The bathroom itself is disgusting. The bunk beds are uncomfortable. No kitchen staff The fridge is all faulty and doesn't work well.

• Gillian (1/5): Poor quality - Perfect location for exploring the area. Quiet location The bathroom was damp, there was no instructions on how to use the heating. The kettle and coffee machine had to be on the hob or balanced on the microwave. The coffee machine leaked. The flex for the kettle had been burnt. No plugs in the sink or wash basin. The freezer box was unusable due to being iced up. The crockery and glasses were not sufficient and some of it was chipped. There was no shade on the light above the bunk bed or on the fitting at the top of the stairs. The was no bulb in the light fitting on the middle floor, the bedside lamp did not work. The Interlaken Pass had not been issued which should be given to all visitors staying in accommodation in Interlaken. This would have saved us over 100 swiss francs. The bannister rails on the steep stairs were loose. I have photos of all these issues.

• Bishu (1/5): Bad - I didnot like anything. The Room was dirty and the bed was not clean. Bathroom is very mouldy, which is bad for the Health and it has stinked. The owner didnot take our call. It cannot be used. Very very Bad experience and the picture in Internet is false.

• Shahid (7/5): It is a 3 floor apartment where bedroom at the top, kitchen in the middle and bathroom at ground flo - Not exactly on the river as the picture shows, but it was near to the river. Difficult to find the location first at night time, took help from the local people. But at the end what owner said about key, code of the box and internet was ok.

• Roland (7/5): Good - We liked the privacy as you have the whole place for yourself. There is a living room with table and kitchen, but the sofas seem a bit too outdated. Optimal for a group or family of 4 people. Overall it was what we expected, for 1 night is was fine. Bathroom and shower are only on the ground floor, the bedrooms are upstairs on the 2nd floor. The stairs are a bit steep. Cleanliness could be improved, we saw some spiderwebs, but overall it was quite okay.

Table fans were very helpful specially as there was heatwave during our visit Bathroom smelled a bit mouldy. As the property is 4 sleeps, it would have been better if it had enough dishes and cutleries for 4. No iron for clothes, although two hairdryers and table fans were helpful.

• Travis (4/5): Dirty and lacking - Good location and somewhat spacious. Rather disappointed with the accomodation. Paid a decent price and wasn’t expecting the world but expected some bare necessities. The bathroom which is on the ground level has no ventilation and is growing black mould on the roof. It is also prone to flooding with the shower curtain not offering much of a barrier. Second level has the kitchen/living. One of the dining chairs is broken but has clearly been staged to look like it’s not. It fell apart when sat on making it rather dangerous. The kitchen is lacking a lot of necessities like; a sink plug, a sharp knife to cut, a functioning freezer (was frozen over). There was a lot of mismatched utensils and cooking pots, the rangehood was also sparking plus the kitchen was rather dirty. The stairs up to the bedroom have no railing and are very steep. I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying with children or elderly people. Some of the power points don’t work and the others spark and zap when plugged into. Although this is not in the owners control the accomodation is situated next to a church which the bell rings regularly from 6am-10pm roughly. The accom is advertised as river views. This is not the case. The is close by though and is a good location otherwise. It’s about 10min walk from interlaken west train station and close to food and amenities.
• Anna (3/5): Please be careful. Not suitable/ dangerous for some - Convenient location, but NOT actually on Riverside 1. The property is not on the Riverside as suggested. 2. Stairs in property are dangerous. (Definitely not suitable for elderly or young children, anyone with mobility issues) 3. Broken chair (that was mentioned in previous reviews!) My 80 year old mother fell due to broken chair and really hurt herself. 4. Floor not clean at all. 5. Broken banister on already dangerous stairs. 6. Furniture not comfortable at all. 7. Bathroom and shower on ground floor= living area first floor. (No avoiding dangerous stairs) 7. No sharp knives in kitchen, so difficult to prepare our meals. (This is a minor complaint compared to the serious issues we had, but worth noting for other potential customers. I strongly suggest that elderly people or families with young children do NOT stay here. If your a young couple or group of friends location is convenient, but no nice views from apartment.

• Nirmala (1/5): Hugely disappointing, safety risk apartment and owner does not care or bother about his paying guest - Nothing We booked the above apartment from 6th May to 8th May. Very, very disappointed and annoyed. On the day of arrival, locals told us the address was incorrect. We spent a lot of time trying to find the apartment that was not in Interlaken as stated in the website. Neither was there a sign board to say it was the river holiday apartment. The code given was incorrect. I called, texted and emailed the owner but no response (I got a response on the day I returned back to UK). Eventually a guy came who said he had previously lived in the apartment. He put in the correct code and removed the apartment key to let us in. There was no information about anything in the apartment. Despite the phone calls and texts, the owner did not contact us in anyway. I dread to think what would have happened to us in the pouring rain if the guy who had previously lived there had not turned up. The lights for the landing from the bedroom to the kitchen was not working. I had family members who were seniors and they found it difficult to walk safely without the lights. It was a safety risk. We were informed there would be Wifi, however the Password given did not allow us to connect with the Wifi. There was no heating throughout our stay. It was cold especially for my senior family members. The handle of the front door was loose and each time we opened the door we had to push it back in place. The chair in the dining room was wobbly and the arm of the chair was broken but there was no warning about this given anywhere. One of my senior family members could have fallen and injured themselves. The next night there was only lights in the bedrooms. The whole downstairs was in darkness. We had a tough time throughout the night and could not wait to vacate the apartment. This is not the type of accommodation we expected. It totally spoiled our holiday. The owner did not bother nor have any consideration for his paying guest.
• Indhukanth (1/5): Worst experience!!! Absolutely it is not value for our money - check in process was smooth. rest of all I can say its a worst experience.. We got voltage issue in the Apartment and tried to reach the concerned team via WhatsApp, on Call and via Booking.com chat but so far they didn't replied or answered to our call. there are so many nearby places please prefer there. it was a worst experience I ever had. Not at all recommending to anyone. Please think before you proceed with this Apartment.

• Azevedo (1/5): Bad - Apart from being close to the city center there is nothing positive about this house. I don't know how this house can be part of your website. The floor was completely dirty (as if no one had clean it), the bathroom had a lot of mold in it (the whole house had a powerful must/mold smell), it also had sever cobwebs and a spider (something that the rest of the house also had plenty of). The beds were dirty (the sheets) with lots of hair strands, underneath them there was a lot of dust/dirt, as if someone had swept what was on the floor under the bed. The power outlets/plugs had no protection, they were completely exposed, and more then one of them didnt even work. The bunk beds were the worst beds Ive ever slept in, it creaked very loudly everytime one of us moved, and it felt like it would collapse at anytime (completely "unsleepable"). The sink was dirty and some chairs are broken what is dangerous for those who sit down. I slept less then 4 hours because of it. No one got a goodnight sleep and only one of us had the courage to take a shower. And the "cherry on top" was the fact that I tried to contact multiple times through the phone number provided by the site/e-mails, so that we could change our lodging, or at least cancel it, and every single time they got hanged up. They were completly uncontactable. I have been to what are considered 3rd World Countries but I've never witnessed a lodge/house like this one.

• Nida (5/5): Not a very good one, just glad to be out of the place - none concerned about safety issue, the third floor doesn’t have side rails to hold on to when going downstairs, the window in the bedroom is broken. I was trying to lock it when the whole window on the right side came off and almost fell on me. The bathroom is all the way on the first floor with a lot of stairs to go . down to. Furnitures are very old and looks dirty. If I have known I probably would pay more to stay in a decent accommodation. Location is not great either.
