• Hayley (10/5): - This home is exceptional! The host is so accommodating and approachable. This is my second stay here and it gets better with each visit. The personal touches are so inviting including the fresh milk and stocked cupboards. I would highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

• Paula (10/5): We enjoyed our stay it was relaxing there was 6 adults and we all found it very comfortable - There were cereals in the pantry and a fresh 2 litres of milk, there was a great variety of teas and there was coffee and sugar. Also was condiments in the fridge and pantry. The property was well stocks with things that you would need in every day homes. The location was prefect close enough to shops and easy access to the motorway, but is located in a quiet street. I took my cat she loved the backyard, it is fully fenced. Animal friendly. The screen door was hard to close and maybe the locks on the side doors need attention but otherwise no complaints.
• Pauline (10/5): Fantastic place to stay. - The size and layout of the house was great for our large group. The photos were accurate as to the condition and cleanliness of the house, yard and pool. They're was more than enough lively, big, soft towels for both the bathroom, ensuite and also swimming towels. The property was very well stocked with basic supplies- tea, coffee, condiments etc and the kitchen had everything we needed.

• Justine (10/5): Sweet stay at Sweetbrush - The host has truly thought of everything — from the little practical touches like pantry staples to soft furnishings and decor adding to the overall comfort of the space. The furnishings are beautiful, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately felt like a home away from home. The property was spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail. It’s the kind of place where you can really relax and enjoy your time away. Nothing! I really love this property. It's just so comfy and convenient to everything. The perfect place to stay while at the Sunshine Coast.

Some of the furnishings and fittings are feeling a little worn e.g sliding doors that are difficult to open, front door lock v sticky and some of the furniture rather worn but these are minor elements in what is a very comfortable home.

• Cassandra (3/5): A property with potential, but our stay was marred by serious cleanliness, mould, pest, and maintenance issues that beca - Location While the property initially appeared pleasant on arrival, a number of serious issues became apparent as the stay progressed, which significantly impacted our experience. There was visible mould inside the home, including on bedroom artwork, along with strong mould smells inside cupboards. The bathroom sink and bath did not drain properly. Extensive mould was also present on outdoor furniture and decorative items. We encountered rats outside and in the garage, as well as cockroaches inside the house. Cleanliness was below an acceptable standard. A dirty oven tray was left in the oven, one dining chair was broken, and an outdoor lounge chair was heavily deteriorated, covered in dog hair, and smelled strongly of urine and faeces. There was also a large amount of dog faeces across the backyard and patio area that we had to clean up ourselves. We stayed for the full duration of the booking and used the facilities, but the condition of the property fell well short of what we reasonably expected for paid accommodation, particularly in terms of hygiene, pest presence, and maintenance. The home has potential, but cleaning and upkeep standards need significant improvement.

• Michelle (10/5): Xmas at Sweetbrush Place - The house was a perfect layout for a large family, with two living areas. The pool area was excellent with lots of shade and seating. We loved the pool toys. Having the extra fridge in the garage was good. The kitchen had lots of condiments and utensils, with plenty of diswash tablets, gladwrap etc.

Honestly, it was even better than some resorts we’ve stayed at. Plus, you get privacy and don’t have to deal with elevators, swipe keys, or pool closure times. The host was super thoughtful, provided way more than we needed, and was so easy to deal with. The house was beautiful, spotless, comfy, and nice and spacious — perfect for our family. The neighbourhood was quiet and relaxed, and it’s super close to the beaches. The pool was awesome — our kids absolutely loved it! Everything worked perfectly, and we felt right at home. • Lauren (10/5): Absolutely Wonderful Stay! - I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb. The location is unbeatable—just a quick five-minute drive to the ocean, which made it perfect for beach days and sunset strolls. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host was warm, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space that made it feel like a true home away from home. The pool is so private and inviting surrounded by palm trees. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, affordable and convenient getaway at the coast!

• Sarah (8/5): Fantastic house for a family or families, very comfortable with ample space and it’s clean! - Fantastic location, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants if you have a car. House is the perfect layout for a family with two living rooms and ample outdoor space that is fenced in for kids to play. Additional activities like board games, pool toys and PlayStation provided. Kitchen is well equipped with ample cooking basics like salt, oil, cereals provided. Bathrooms a well appointed with plenty of toiletries. The bed pillows were very uncomfortable, way too high, especially for children. There is mould in the house, the kitchen cupboards under the sink and where the dinner plates are kept smells very bad and strongly of mould. The washing machine also has a lot of mould inside around the rubber seal which is not nice when you want to wash your clothes…

• Shannon (7/5): Bad neighbours - I loved that the children had their own end of the house and parents were at the opposite end. I didn't like the Neighbours closest to the pool as we were playing music and it wasn't even loud. It was 2 -3pm in the afternoon. And he jumped up on the fence and was very rude and wanted the music turned down and the next day same again but he contacted my host. For this reason I would never return to this property again.

• O'connell (10/5): Excellent Property with great facilities and so incredibly well stocked. - Sweetbrush Place is an excellent property and we had a fabulous short stay there. The pool was great fun for the kids and grown ups alike, with plenty of outdoor entertaining areas to make use of. The beds were all very comfortable and the house was so incredibly well stocked to help make our stay even more comfortable. Lachlan was a fantastic host and even offered an extended late check out without asking for it which was a nice touch. Thanks Lachlan for allowing us to enjoy your property and have a few relaxing days.

I have a 5mtr long twin cab, just too long to lock in the carport. But the car was secure, being visible through the lounge room window.

We had a lot of fun in the pool and around the pool with a well designed area for relaxing. It was made perfect by being able to bring our dog and there is a lovely park to walk around very close by.

The house was clean and great facilities. The pool was great too. Only a short drive to beach and restaurants. There was some mould on bathroom roof but otherwise exceptional.

It was heated and we practically lived in it, day and night. We took 4 generations of family on this trip, the home accommodated us well and we were all very pleased. House had everything you need when away from home... toiletries, kitchen supplies, toys for kids which kept our kids busy. Pool was fantastic. House was really clean and smelled lovely. Really enjoyed our short stay here. The only thing I can suggest here is the amount of delicate/breakable things in the house. While it made the house look really lovely, we had to move/hide a lot of ornaments to keep them safe and then put them back before leaving.

The house was lovely but with a toddler around we had to watch closely that he didn’t bump into glass tables and get into the decor.
